On 12/28/22 I purchased alcohol. I had a total of 3 different rebates on 1 liquor store receipt. All 3 filled out/sent same day 12/28/22; I only received 2 payments. Interestingly 2 of the 3 were mailed on 12/28/22 to the same address.in separate envelopes.
Inmar Rebate ** *** ****** ******* *** *****
As I usually do, I take pictures of the completed form/receipt before mailing and mark my calendar to check the status about 5-6 weeks out. When I checked the status on 2/16/23, I did not SEE any indication that the $30 rebate for 12 bottles of ******** was received. I immediately contacted them via the website form. "Hi, I mailed my completed form and my receipt (for 15 bottles) for the $30 on 12 bottles Offer #******* on 12/28/22. I have been checking and am not able to see my submission on this new website. I have photos of what I submitted and would be happy to share. Please advise. **** ********"
First off, their website (**********************************) now redirects you to a new website. I asked if this was valid , they concurred. interestingly, 90% of my history is no longer visible ( and I have a LOT of rebate history!)
Bottom line - the couldn't find it, asked me to send proof which I did, then they said they found it and it was invalid as it was received after the submission date. I explained I mailed on 12/28/22 and the expiration date was 1/15/23. Then I asked them for proof of postmark, they sent me a photo showing it was POSTMARKED 12/29/22. I then sent them a picture of my completed rebate AGAIN with the terms highlighted, which stated the rebated EXPIRED 12/31/22 and had to be POSTMARKED before 1/15/23. Both of these terms were met and I should get my $30 rebate. They told me they were looking into it, YET the status of the rebate online shows
Submission was received after offer expiration date &I received a post card in the mail saying the same thing - which leads me to believe they will NOT be sending my my rebate.Business Response

On October 3, 2022, I purchased a Waterpik flosser with an advertised $5. rebate. On October 17, 2022, I submitted the rebate form along with the required UPC from the box and the required receipt. On November 15, 2022, I received an email and postcard informing me that my submission was not valid because no UPC code was submitted and the UPC does not belong to a valid manufacturer. This is in spite of the fact that I had submitted a UPC code and I have no way of knowing if some manufacturer was selling the product to appear it was made by a different manufacturer. I responded on November 16 asking how I should proceed with the false manufacturing problem and since I had submitted the UPC code all I had was a copy. On December 14 I received the same email and postcard message informing me of the non-valid manufacturer. I responded again with copies of my rebate form, and the multiple letters which I sent to Inmar Rebate. Again I received the same message that my UPC code was not an original (although I cut it from the box my product was in) and the UPC does not belong to a valid manufacturer although it appears that my WaterPik was legitimate. My rebate was supposed to be $5.00. I have spent more time and postage that is reasonable for a $5. rebate. However, it is annoying that this company is being dishonest in offering a rebate and then not following through on their offer.Business Response

On 10/27/22 @8:59am, I purchased a 12 pack of ******** from **** *** ****, store #***, in Yonkers, NY.
Shortly after, I submitted a completed rebate form, the original store receipt and the original package's UPC code (0-7289000016-3) to the Inmar Rebate Center in Laredo, TX.
The rebate offer was for a $7 refund "with the purchase of ONE (1) 12-pack (bottles or cans) of any ******** family product, or AMSTEL Light."
A few weeks later, I received a small postcard stating that the company denied my rebate. The company's reasoning was that I did not submit my original store receipt. This is inaccurate. I clearly did, with the rest of my purchases that day redacted on the receipt to protect my privacy.
I have attached a copy of all rebate paperwork and the rejection postcard to show that the original was submitted. I am requesting my $7 refund.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
I had requested not only my $7 refund, but also for the business to admit that they did not process it correctly the first time. I submitted it correctly. Someone on their end didn't process it correctly. Giving someone a "courtesy" refund is not the same as taking accountability and admitting their wrongdoing.Initial Complaint

I bought a Waterpick from my dentist. The box advertised a $20 mail in rebate. I mailed in the rebate and I got a response in the mail from INMAR Promotion Services stating that "your submission was not valid...proof of purchase did not contain valid prod#". I spent half an hour arguing with them on the phone. They eventually offered to send me $10. I refused. They should send me $20 and stop doing this to people.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
I bought a new Waterpick. On the box it said "$20 mail in rebate". I filled out and submitted the rebate according to the instructions, and I included the UPC which I removed from the same box. They keep saying that the "UPC is not valid". This is ridiculous. They owe me $20.Initial Complaint

On May 1, 2022, I bought a 30-pack of *** explicitly because there was a $5 rebate from ***** **** grocery store in ********, IL; I still have a copy of the receipt. I promptly submitted the paperwork. Four months later--a full third of a year--I still have not received my rebate. I've contacted them numerous times (I have copies of correspondence), and they always say they're "waiting for funds to be released." At this point, it feels like a full-on scam. God only knows what they've done with the personal info (no SSN--just name, address, bday, phone number) I had to submit with the rebate. I had to text all rebate material to ************, and they instructed me to send subsequent questions to **********@inmar.com. Please help! I've invested so much time in this it feels like I'm owed more than the $5 rebate at this point, but I'm sure they're screwing over hundreds of other people right now, too.Business Response

This has to be the worst company i have ever dealt with, they are liars, and they don't want to pay out your rebate and will use every excuse not to pay or they hope people just give up on the rebate.
i have 2 submissions both with 2 rebate products on receipt from my address and my partners address and they both came back denied (Submission#: ***************) & Submission# ***************) they rejected both because of following reasons...
Code Reason
001 REGISTER RECEIPT NOT SUBMITTED OR NOT AN ORIGINAL
003 REG RECPT DID NOT CONTAIN A VALID PURCHASE DATE
After reading the BBB terrible reviews i took photos with everything i sent (***pictures included***) and i followed the the submission paper IN FULL DETAIL they are now saying my receipts aren't original. my photos clearly show that the original receipts were sent with the UPC were taped to the back. What more do i need to prove?
They told my partner after showing them clear proof.. again they owe us (2) two $5 rebate each.. 10$ for my partner and $10 for myself
Dear Consumer:
Thank you for your email. I have reviewed your submission and have issued the rebate for $5 as a one-time courtesy. Your new submission number for this payment is ***************. Please allow at least 30 days for rebate delivery.
Thank you,
Fernando
After showing full proof they will only send half the money as a "courtesy", this is complete bull and these people should be shut down! how many negative reviews do you need to get before anyone takes action?
PLEASE BAN THIS COMPANY from doing business with people because they lie through their teeth after showing them full proof!Business Response

I purchased 2 twelve packs of ****** ****** variety beers from ***** ***** in ***** Ohio and it came with a mail in rebate. I filled everything out and mailed it in. However, I had a post card sent to my house that stated I did not fill out the form correctly with my age, however, clearly shown on this screenshot I did in fact provide my age. And furthermore the brewery is not offering full rebate it was supposed to have been a $10 rebate however as shown in the card sent to my house it’s only now a $5 rebate. Talk about a bait and switch tactic this should be illegal.Business Response

I submitted a rebate to Inmar Rebates. I bought 12 bottles of the same wine and should have received a rebate of $36 (the receipt says "1 12PK" - each bottle was $6.99 - I did not pay $83.88 for one bottle of wine) Instead I received a rebate of $2, and my name was spelled wrong on the check.
