I wouldn't believe it if I was not there. We live in ********* so this should be a very convenient place to get your oil changed, guess again. Sign says 10 minute oil change faster than the speed of life. Well I guess life is pretty slow. First I took my duramax there and it was fine but took over an hour, the 2nd time I took in our LC500 and they did not have the oil in stock and to come back after the first of the month ( Last February), third time actually took my LC back in when they told me they would have the oil again and then today. Today I arrived at 104. There are 3 bays and 1 car in each bay plus me waiting outside one of the bays. I was there 1 hour and 9 minutes before I was guided into the bay. The one hour and 9 minutes really is about normal for this location as that is about what it has taken every time we have gone in for an oil change. So that is strike one, over an hour for a 10 minute oil change! Strike 2 when I took in the ***** and they did not have the oil, REALLY, THIS IS AN OIL CHANGE PLACE, THATS ALL YOU DO!!! Strike three was today when I took my Duramax back in and I was there 1 hour and 9 minutes and then they guilted me in to the bay, checked all my lights, lifted the hood and did whatever they do and after about 10 minutes he came to my window and said "we have a problem" your truck takes this weight oil and we are out of it!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I drive a Duramax truck in ************ which is about every other car on the road and you don't have oil for it!!! Give me a break. First you take one an hour for every oil change you do and 50% of the time you have not had my oil. Guess I'll be driving to ********** to get my oil changed here on out!! If I could give them a 0 I would. My boyfriend went to get an oil change today at the one in ******,** where he usually goes. The guy stripped his plug and the s**** to his oil pan. They was trying to fix their mistake before my boyfriend figured that something was wrong. Told him that the place that did the oil change prior messed it up like that. They looked stupid when he pulled out the receipts from the last oil change and they were the ones that did it. Sent us to get an estimate and was mad that it was high($1,000) didnt ask us for an address or nothing. We had to ask them and they had the wrong address and phone number. Still waiting to get our money back from fixing their f*** up. Dont recommend this place at all. ***** the manager wasnt any help really and he didnt want to answer the questions that we asked. Hes ever unprofessional and rude. Told me that he was in the middle of something and I had to wait and of course he wasnt doing anything but seating on his phone. I still going to Strickland Brothers for my oil changes because before the ***** pandemic, I was used to waiting in the lobby while the oil in my vehicle was being changed, but after we had to wait in our cars because of *****, the technicians yelled at me to steer my car over more than I could. I couldn't take it anymore because I have autism. Therefore, their technicians need to learn to be sensitive to all of their customers, including those of us who have disabilities!Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change

Use Strickland Brothers Oil Change at your own risk.I took my 2023 ******* Tucson in for an oil change.This was my 3rd time to use this company with the first two being uneventful.This time within 24 hours I noticed an oil leak from beneath my car so I immediately took it back to Strickland Oil Change at 3052 Basswood in ********** ***** to get checked out.They informed me that yes I had oil leaking from around my filter and that my oil filter housing was cracked and recommended I get it replaced as soon as possible and altho they were the only ones replacing the oil filters in the last three changes they were in fact NOT responsible that it could be the manufacturer or maybe the filter vendor but not definately not their fault.I had to tow it to the dealership who replaced the oil filter housing for 500 dollars and told me someone tighten the oil filter so tight that it cracked the housing.So use Strickland Brothers Oil at your own risk and that includes all Strickland locations because the training or lack thereof goes across the brand.Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change

I almost lost my engine- they put in the wrong filter, and cross-threaded it on my 2022 *************** *** pressure light came on 3 days later and when I took it to another shop they showed me that SB hadn't put the splach guard up right (left 3 bolts off), and had to replace the filter. My name is ****** ******, On 01/22/2024, I dropped by the "Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change" @ 2030 Eastern Ave., Gallipolis, OH 45631 to have my oil changed again. First of all, after he added the new oil, I asked to see the dipstick. When he showed me me, it showed only half full. When I pointed that out to him. He said, "It's full, as long as it's in the safety zone, you'll be fine." I replied, "No, it should be at the "Full" line. I know how it's supposed to look." He said, "I'll add an extra 1/2 quart." I saw him do that, but then I asked, If you were able to add another 1/2 qt, why did you tell me that it was already full?" He said, "Your car can take 9-10 qts of oil and it'll be fine, but we shouldn't do that." I said, "No it doesn't. He should know that my car takes 5.5 qts of oil. He wasn't making any sense. Then when he was finished, he told me how much it would be, then I asked him, "Excuse me, aren't you supposed to do a "so-many" point inspection, like checking wiper blades, lights, brakes, turn signals, etc?" He said, "First of all, I checked your wipers already..." I said, "No, you didn't because I was sitting in here waiting for you to do it, and you never even touched them." Then he said, "We don't check anything anymore unless you request it." I only asked him not to add any windshield washer fluid, because it's wintertime and I like to add my own winter washer fluid, instead of all-season. He said okay, but on the receipt, it shows that he added it along with other things that he never checked, but it shows that he did. After my receipt, I had to ask for air in all tires because all were pretty low. And he already included that he checked my tires. He did not include anything with this $107.98 charge. I wonder now if he even added the FULL synthetic oil. I will not go back there. I feel they are cheating their customers, or it's just this one guy that's not doing his job correctly.
