Starting in March 2023 I was contacted by a debt collector from Credit Collection Bureau - I was NOT notified by certified mail until I received mail stating that they would take me to court for the full amount that I owe from Monument Health and *************************; neither or which notified me either. Since then I have been in contact with '************' VIA Telephone **************** who claims to have called me since January 2024. I never received a phone call from her or from this company. Since then I was told to set up automatic payments through their website which I have done, and then told to cancel them as they were going to be getting a new website domain on the advice of *****. I did so and I am STILL being automatically charged for that payment amount. I spoke with ***** today (July 30, 2024) who stated that they have not received payments for the last two months even though they have been processed through my bank account at the automated amount from the supposedly cancelled arrangement. I continue to be told it is due to my bank and not their software/system. My mental health is draining and I am entirely exhausted of being harassed and put in the middle of something that was caused by them. On my end my payment have gone through and now I am facing my wages being garnished due to their lack of knowledge.Business Response

Presently, ************ has an outstanding balance with Credit Collections Bureau of $4,976.27. On 04-16-2024 Credit Collections Bureau was awarded a judgement on 8 past due balances that currently have a balance of $700.27. A letter advising her of our intention of litigation was sent on 01-30-2024 if no payment in full,settlement, or approved payment plan was reached.
On 03-05-24, ************ went to our online portal and created a payment plan for $160.00 with starting payments on 03-13-2024 until 08-13-2025 with final payment being $29.20. Credit Collections Bureau agreed to these terms with the consumer.Transactions that occurred are as follow:
04-15-2024: $160 payment
04-22-2024: $69 payment
04-23-2024: $231.45 payment
04-26-2024: -$229.00 ACH payment returned as insufficient funds
05-14-2024: $168.71 payment
05-20-2024: -$160.00 ACH payment returned as insufficient funds

On 07-30-2024, Credit Collections Bureau deleted the online payment arrangement due to the *** charges. At this time, Credit Collections Bureau would honor a payment arrangement for $160.25 per month through a checking account made with our account representative ********************* who can be contacted at ************. We would also be willing to settle the entirety of her debt for the principal balance of $4212.35 as a lump sum payment.
The ACH payments are being returned to ************; however,this can take up to 45 days. If ************ experienced any *** fees from her bank, please advise Credit Collections Bureau. Because of the technical glitch,CCB will cover those fees for ************.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
This information is not correct NOR is it accurate AT ALL. I was advised by YOUR employee ***** who I had FIRST communication with of ANY kind in March to create an online automatic payment. I then was told to cancel it by YOUR employee and it was continuously being taken until a week ago. Your business does NOT communicate in a timely manner at ALL considering it was not until March when I received a summons from the court about this. If youd like to see proof PLEASE pull up my record showing how you just stopped the auto pay on your side. Please verify what my address was in January when you claim to have contacted me, I also have records of my call log showing NO calls and I received no mail or emails from your company.Business Response

Credit Collections Bureau is in the process of integrating a new online payment portal. Hence the reason the payment arrangement was stopped. As our agents have indicated, there appears to have been a technical glitch in the systems somewhere. Credit Collections Bureau has issued ************ a refund of $709.00. If ************ had any NSF fees accessed by her bank, if she provides proof of the same Credit Collections Bureau will cover those as well. I am not accountable for the debt to 06 INFINITY GENERAL IN COMPANY. I do not have a contract with CREDIT COLL and have never received one after requesting one. I already sent your agency several requests to remove this inaccurate account but it's still showing from my credit file. Since when is it possible for an open account to be charged off? This also shouldnt have a balance seeing as this is a charge off. After all these inaccuracies I have mentioned even before you still continuously reporting this? I have already sent in a letter stating that Credit Management, LP do not have authorization to collect in my state which is in violation of federal law. On April 29, 2024, I received a letter from Credit Collections Bureau that this is a final attempt to resolve this matter without the necessity of litigation. For $552.25. My last correspondence with them was in December 2023 where I paid off my bill of $162.00 and received no further correspondence.I called the Bureau for 3-weeks and my agent was never available and they dont leave messages when they will be available. I dont know what the charges are for, but sent $100 just to start the process. Law enforcement shows up at my place saying they have civil paperwork for me now. No! I dont know what I am paying for and I havent even been given the opportunity to pay for it myself, if its my debt. This company is horrible about communication and should be shut down.Business Response

Credit Collections Bureau has initiated a small claims matter against ****************** for six debts. The itemized statements for those debts were mailed to her today, July 1, 2024. All six debts had validation letters sent with no response disputing the debt. Im writing regarding the debt allegedly owed to 06 LIBERTY MUTUAL IN ** and pursued by CREDIT **LL, I must assert that I am not liable for this debt. Firstly, I have not entered into any contract with 06 LIBERTY MUTUAL IN ** that would incur such debt. Additionally, despite my request, I have not received any documentation from CREDIT **LL validating this debt or demonstrating my obligation to pay. Furthermore, I would like to remind you that under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), debt collectors are required to provide validation of debts upon request. I received a notice that I have a collection from CREDIT COLLECTION on my credit report. It says it was opened on 07/11/2022 for $180 with an account number starting in ******** that I am not aware of nor am I responsible for. I never went into business with this company or signed any agreements with them so they should not be reporting anything on my credit.
