      Lived here for several years without any complaints, late payments, etc. Purchased a house and prepared to move out. Was going to move out in October 2020, lease went through Dec 2020. They we're going to get a renter in and release our obligation to fulfil last month(s) of lease.They informed us that they had a tenant that wanted to move in Oct 1st We reprioritized our move out and scheduled this to be done on 9/28, which was executed without issue on that day. We executed the move out and gave up our keys to the apartment. Then some time later they informed us that their renter didn't start paying until 10/15 and that we'd be responsible for the 1/2 month of rent from 10/1-10/15.They didn't send us a new invoice or anything, stopped responding to our inquiries, and sent us to collections for the amount after security deposit and other transactions settled. Now we believe that they still owe us money, meanwhile I'm sitting here with collections on my credit report from this company.

      I've lived at this property longer than this gross bully corporation has owned it. They're ruining everything on purpose. They are making conditions worse and worse to push old residents out, to **** up prices for new residents. The heat in my building barely keeps it 60 degrees on cold nights. Never had a problem before this year. Our elevator has been out for months. Now they are charging me $11 for renters insurance, even though I've provided proof of my renters insurance at every lease signing. Now they have more expectations, and want me to spend hours of my life working for their expectations. They said some nonsense about a ***** address that I need to have my insurance put on my account for THEM. I don't live in *****. The check from my insurance company surely isn't going to go to *****. I will do EVERYTHING in my power to make sure everyone I know never wants to live at a Goldmark property. Canceling this capitalist bully trash.

      ***********, (a gold mark ********************** management **********************) has failed to provide clean, safe living conditions. 1/14/2024 at 8 pm we had a water pipe break in the building causing our entire apartment to flood with black sewage water. emergency maintenance came to assist, however they left around 12 am leaving water and human f**** throughout every room and left us with absolutely no plumbing capabilities for over ************************************************************************* the toxic fumes. 1/15/2024 by 4 pm our apartment was still flooded, and management was as unable to offer any accommodations besides an empty unit in another building which they stated was not ready enough to rent but just clean enough to stay a couple nights where they wanted us and our animals to stay for an unknown amount of time sleeping on the floor with none of our basic needs met and refuse to reimburse for the hotel we had to pay for out of pocket, management has yet to contact me regarding any of it or an ETA of when we can come back to our apartment.

      The security door broke. The handle came off, so you cannot get out of the building through the front door. So if someone has an emergency, no one can leave through the front. Very unsafe. Was almost late for work, because of being trapped inside. And with this companys history of waiting a year or more to fix things, I felt this is serious enough where it cannot wait.

      I have been renting from this place for a couple of months now. When I first moved in everything seemed fine then the hallway started getting dirty or and dirtier. They only send somebody out once every couple months to clean the apartment complex. There was vomit on the staircase for about 2 weeks before they cleaned it up. I submitted requests after request I emailed. I called they said they would send somebody out and they never did. I told him it was a health hazard and that they were going to be reported if they didn't and they finally came out and cleaned it but they did not clean up properly. You can still smell vomit in the hallway. I have taken photos of the amount of trash that is left in the hallways. There is human f**** left in the hallways and they have been notified multiple times about this. I called just the other day and ask them to send somebody out to clean and they told me that they couldn't send somebody out that day and it's been two days since and nobody has come by to clean anything. People often leave their big trash bags right near the front entrance which creates a safety hazard and also just makes the entire apartment complex smell like rotting food. Anytime I submit a maintenance request like my heating didn't work for a while. It took them over 2 weeks in order to respond to me even after I emailed and called repeatedly. Then when they finally did show up they did not give me a 24 or a 12-hour notice. They gave the key to the maintenance guy and the maintenance guy walked in on me while I was sleeping in my bed. Same thing with my carpet too. I signed my lease 2 months before I moved in and they told me that the carpet would get fixed and steam cleaned which it never was. I had to harass them for multiple weeks in order for them to send somebody out in order to fix my carpet. I have had multiple issues with this company and they refuse to fix anything and they ignore me every single time.

      My landlord has not fixed my dishwasher and I have been asking for it to be fixed 5 months ago. I ask and they say they are waiting on a part. Also my neighbor lets his dog pee and p*** on the deck and he has 1 whole garbage bag of f**** on his deck. He leaves garbage in the hallways.

      I paid $246 ($200 fee, $40 app fee and $6 surcharge) on 7/28 to apply for an apartment that belongs to Goldmark Properties. The stated agreement was that upon denial, $200 would be returned via check within **** business days. This has not taken place. I have attempted to contact and receive answers from the site at which I applied, the Regional Office and the Corporate office with no response or resolution. I deserve the money that I am *********** be returned to me in a timely manner as promised. I hope this problem will be solved soon.

      This apartment management company failed over the 5 years of my tenancy to promptly make repairs inside of my apartment that resulted in financial loss in the form of property damage, due to their neglect, the promised living conditions of the apartment in which I live and pay a very high amount monthly have been short and a failure, the staff neglects systematically my requests, denies me access to common areas for no reason, the building is filthy, possible asbestos in the underground parking lot, the dumpsters carry pests, some areas are very unsanitary, constant stolen property from the "secured mail room" which staff refuse to assist even with police report, breaking ins at the underground alleged secured parking and subsequently stolen property from inside de cars, staff again refuses to even *********, staff is quite dismissal and rude and untrained. A failure and a loss of money to live in such a complex. A fraud.

      On 5/6/23 at approximately 10:40 am, a Goldmark employee and potential tenant entered my unit for a tour without any notice. I am a young female and was home alone, in the bathroom, and I received a knock on the door and heard a strange mans voice asking to come in. I told the Goldmark employee that no notice whatsoever had been given. This violates the terms of my lease agreement with Goldmark Property Management and I wish for them to be held accountable for harassment of future tenants.

      When we moved from **************** to ***** ************ I rented an apt sight unseen from Goldmark ********************* apt. complex. ******, the manager at the time, knew I was on ssdi and that I got my check on the 2nd weds on the month. She ask , I DID NOT, if it would be easier to give until the 3rd weds of the month. I ask her "Are you sure? Yeah! That would be great!" So for 7 yrs that's what we have done no problem. It states right on my award letter I get pd the 2nd weds of the month. Now Lake Crest has decided, even after they agreed when we moved in, we need to pay our rent on the 2nd weds of the month instead (I'm OK going forward. No problem.) but they told me I owed them 500 dollars in past rent and late fees and That I needed to hv it paid by the end of today or they are giving me an eviction notice. On top of that. The only possible way I found was to put on my credit card I use for meds and I need to pay that online. They won't help me set it up! I have called emailed them. They tell me they sent me a link or code. No they did not. I had a neighbor help me look and she said it was not there. The manager ******* said this but then the other office gal was so bad she treats me w such contempt as a disabled person. They got rid of the disability parking spot in back even though all the other apt have them. The dryers take 3x to get your clothes dry. They know. The company knows. Nothing is done. They harass me every 2-3 months about me paying my rent on the 3rd weds of the months and now after seeing my dr and having a breakdown because of their abuse of power, changed everything about how I pay didn't give me any warning or anything. I don't what to do. They cannot do this to older disabled resident. How can they be so cold.
