      Horrible experience. Called out bc outdoor unit wasnt functioning correctly. System is roughly 1 1/2 years old. Was initially told inverter was bad and they had to order parts which took 2 weeks in dead of winter with unit running on emergency heat. Upon returning the tech said the inverter wasnt the problem and now it was now a compressor problem(completely locked up). He then gave me a new quote of $**** labor price to replace the compressor as the parts were covered by warranty. After this astronomical quote i went back to the distributor myself and they sent out one of their techs and found that the unit had malfunctioned and was defective. The manufacturer(Rheem) replaced the whole unit, not just the compressor at no cost. Then the harassment started about invoices for work completed. I tried to explain the situation, but they didnt care about my experience and threatened to turn me over to collections if i didnt pay their invoice. They boast an A+ BBB Rating on their website when in reality its quite a bit lower than that.

      I installed AC and Heater systems through Air Serve. The service was excellent and outstanding at that time. The price was competitive when I compared three vendors.
      Today I had an emergency on Christmas Eve. The temperatures outside were historic low at 7 degrees F, and when we woke up, the Heater had shut down, and the temperature inside had dropped to 55 degrees F. I called them in desperation, and they promptly sent Mr. Chris ******. He immediately diagnosed the issue as the Drain pump outlet had frozen, and the system had shut down. He promptly replaced the tube, and the thermostat was replaced, too (I had taken it out thinking that the thermostat was the problem), and he did an outstanding job. He explained everything and assured us that he wouldn't leave unless the problem was solved and we got our heat back! I am glad we chose AIre Serve. They could despatch a technician promptly on this Christmas Eve, and he did an outstanding job. Thank you, Aire Serve

      My wife called the company to fix a cut wire between the outside unit and the thermostat. They came and fixed the problem and charged me $439.

      The description of their work based on their repost is below
      "Description Quantity EAC-180 Run New Thermostat Wire : - If there is a failure in the wiring that leads to the thermostat, or it needs to be upgraded, up to 50 feet of new wire may be installed from the thermostat to the equipment"

      ******************* all they did is connected the severed wire back together and put electric tape over it. When I called they said, the technician selected the wrong code and they refunded me $100 to keep me quite. I CANNOT Believe tapping a wire back costs $339. ***************

      Attempted a huge price gouge when replacing a capacitor and connector on my upstairs unit. When I approached the tech about the exhorbitant price he became immediately threatening and verbally combative. When asked to leave he refused and i was forced to call the police. The office did not return my call that day or the following day. When I called the staff were very unapologetic. I attempted a different number in hopes of reaching someone in authority. He was helpful and explanatory. He quoted a different price. High but much more reasonable. We made an appointment for the following morning. They did not show. I called their competitor who stated that they had dealings with other former customers with similar stories about aire serv.
