5 starsI've used carps in the past and will use them again in the future. The most recent job they did was replace my front entry doors, replace the kitchen window, and fix the basement window. They do a great job, clean up well when done and follow up on any issues. I find them to be professional and courteous, a pleasure to work with.Review fromMichelle R

5 starsI would highly recommend this company for both siding and roofing. The initial meeting with Chad was convenient and informative, with competitive pricing for a high-quality product and service. Chad helped provide his insights when I debated on colors for the house and the look turned out great! The project manager communicated regularly with me and the crews that did each project were both very good and paid attention to detail throughout the projects. I'm so glad I chose Carp's Complete Exteriors to complete these two projects that are so important to get done right the first time and I definitely plan to continue to work with them on future projects.Review fromP. What they quote you and what they put on the contract are different. Chad (owner) gave me a quote. I asked, "to clarify X,Y and Z will be done for $1400" To which Chad said yes. I stated that we would have it ALL done for the $1400. However Chad, even admitting he made the mistake, didn't put Z in the work order that I signed.
Scheduling was terrible. I was rescheduled 4 times and the first 2 I had to call and ask why the project wasn't done and why no one called me to let me know what was going on. On the 3rd attempt the project manager "Mac" did call and basically said they couldn't get it done that day and would come out the next day.
When I contacted the business, Matt (store manager) said they had other customers and that it was a "teachable moment" for their project manager.
When they did the project they didn't do what I was quoted on and when I spoke with the Chad (owner) who did the estimate, he sent me another email contract for an extra $435 because he made a mistake. When I called to speak with Chad I was talked over accused me of trying to "get over on them" and said I signed for X & Y and hung up. When I attempted to call back, after cooling down, Chad said he wouldn't be doing anything else unless I paid the extra amount and then stated he expected payment in 2 days and threatened to put a lien on my home and hung up.
Chad then sent me the bill the same day expecting payment however the job wasn't completed as their project manager had the wrong color piece to finish the project and had stated it would be done, but took an extra 2 days to complete the project.
How can companies quote you something (that I have proof of the quote) and then write a contract different, even admitting they made the mistake (again email and verbally) and not willing to make any compromise or adjustments but make threats and talk unprofessionally to a customer.CARP'S Complete Exteriors

Dear Paul,
Thank you for reaching out regarding your concerns. At Carp’s Exteriors, we pride ourselves on providing clear communication, transparent contracts, and high-quality service to all our customers. We would like to address the situation in detail to ensure complete clarity.
Project Overview
Paul initially contacted us to address hail damage to his home's fascia, downspout, and two small holes in the vinyl siding. Following an inspection, our representative provided an estimate for restoring the fascia and downspout.
During the consultation, we also discussed an optional repair for the vinyl siding. As the siding repair would require purchasing an entire box of siding, the additional cost was verbally estimated at $450. Chad explained to Paul that the damage to the vinyl siding was cosmetic and would not impact functionality. Paul declined the siding repair due to cost considerations, and no formal estimate or contract for this work was created.
Paul subsequently signed a digital, itemized contract for fascia and downspout repairs only. The contract clearly outlined the scope of work and materials to be used.
Additional Request During Repairs
When our crew was onsite to perform the contracted work, Paul contacted our project manager to inquire about the siding repair again. Chad promptly reiterated the original verbal estimate for the siding repair. However, this estimate was once more declined.
Payment Dispute
Upon completion of the fascia and downspout repairs, Paul informed us that he would not pay for the completed work unless the siding repair was included at no additional cost. Despite multiple discussions, Paul refused to accept the previously discussed estimate for the siding repair, which was not part of the signed contract or original scope of work.
We sent Paul a copy of the signed, itemized contract to clarify the agreement. This document specifically outlines the agreed-upon work and materials for the fascia and downspout repairs, with no mention of siding repairs.
Customer Feedback
Unfortunately, Paul has since left multiple negative reviews online, inaccurately portraying the sequence of events. While we always strive to go above and beyond for our customers, in this case, we cannot complete additional work that was not estimated or included in the signed agreement.
Our Commitment
At Carp’s Exteriors, we are committed to ensuring a positive experience for all our customers. We take great care to provide itemized contracts and ensure our customers fully understand the scope of work before proceeding. We regret that Paul feels dissatisfied and welcome the opportunity to clarify any remaining concerns directly.
If there is anything further we can do within the scope of the original agreement, we are happy to assist. Please don’t hesitate to reach out directly.
Sincerely,
Kory Z*********

I asked during our estimate (which I have text proof) “to clarify the facia, the siding and downspout for $1400” to which I was told yes. I said that we would have it ALL done for the estimate of $1408. I’m not sure where the decline of the siding was made as I asked for clarification to have it all done for the $1408? Chad then sent the doc-u-sign for the job however did not put in the siding. When they finally came out to do the work (again on the 4th time of having to reschedule due to not showing up and I having to call them) I asked why the siding wasn’t done. I even sent the text that says “TO CLARIFY FACIA SIDING AND DOWNSPOUT FOR $1400” the next day I got a text (which I saved) from Chad saying he made a mistake and didn’t add the siding to the doc-u-sign and then added a 2nd doc-u-sign for an additional amount. I called and spoke with Chad who basically said I signed for the facia and downspout and that is all they are doing unless I wanted to pay the extra. When I asked about the clarification thru text and him even admitting to making the mistake (which I again saved the text) Chad said, “I’m not going to discuss the text. You signed for facia and downspout” then accused me of “trying to get over on them” and hung up. When I attempted to talk with Chad again to see if there was anything they were willing to do for their mistakes I was again yelled at, talked over, and threatened with a lean on my home. I never said I wouldn’t pay. What I said was that I would have never agreed to $1400 for just a facia and downspout. I had to reach out to this company several times due to not showing up to do repairs on days they said they would and when the siding wasn’t done. There was no professionalism on Chad behalf or even any attempt to resolve his mistakes. I attempted to discuss with them directly only to be insulted, talked over, cussed at, treated with a lean and finally hung up on twice. Reviews were placed due to the way I was treated and that Chad refused to discuss and hung up on me twice. Again I have pictures of the text estimate and me asking for clarification. Pictures of the text where Chad admitted to making the mistake and didn’t add the siding to the contract. Payment was made once work was completed which did take an additional 2-3 days after being threatened with a lean and a bill being sent prior to work being completed. .Review fromMichele and Edward W

5 starsWe are very happy with our project. Carp’s Exteriors did a whole house make over. We are extremely pleased with the way it turned out. Everything from our initial visit, the in office Virtual Reality Design, tear off and installation of Hardie plank siding, new soffits, gutters, paint, stone work, and the final walk through was fantastic! It looks great. Everyone was amazing to work with and each crew completed their part on time and to the highest quality. We really were amazed how Chad listened to what we like and was able to use virtual design to show us different ideas for our project. Actually being able to see how it would look before we even started was what sold us on Carp’s! They delivered on every aspect! Great job guys!!Review fromBecky S

5 starsTalk about taking care of the customer LONG after the sale! Carp's installed my vinyl siding 6 years ago and did a great job. Earlier this week, the piece at the very peak of my house fell off - surprising, but not a huge deal. So I called Carp's to see if/when they might be able to fix it. Jax said "I'll be there tomorrow" and he was! In 20 minutes he had that piece re-hung and adjusted one of my gutters for me. Thank you Jax and Carp's for continuing to take care of my house!Review fromSteven A

5 starsI hired Carps Exteriors to re side my whole house with hardie plank. They were an amazing crew, everyone had a specific job and they worked as one hell of team. They stripped off the old wood siding and put up new sheeting wood and wrapped up my house in 1 day after that the planks went up and my home looks brand new. They did a amazing job in the middle of December. Great job guys..Review fromJohn B

1 starOur windows were supposed to be installed by October of 2022. It is now September of 2023, and this project remains unfinished.
When we first contracted Carp's, they sent someone to measure our windows twice. The project suffered a few delays (through no fault of Carp's) and began on October 19th, 2022. That same day, the carpenter noted that nine of our windows had been measured incorrectly or were not up to code. It would take months for the reordered windows to arrive. Of the windows that could be installed, the carpenter would have to modify some to get them to fit.
As the project dragged, Carp's became less responsive. We would call, yet no one would answer. At one point we had to ask if they intended to abandon the project half-finished. One Carp's employee blamed us for Carp's unresponsiveness since we hadn't left a voicemail. Given that we had been in contact with them for six months, I had just assumed they had my number saved and would do the responsible thing and call us back. I was wrong.
The carpenter told us that Carp's was prioritizing other projects, not allowing him to come work on ours. After all, there's money to be made, and our project was no longer profitable.
The windows are now installed and need the final touch ups, and a few of the windows are broken. Carp's contacted third parties to handle both touch ups and repairs, and when those third parties called us, they informed us that they were coming in blind. Carp's did not tell them what they were expected to do.
The one thing Carp's has excelled at is requesting early payment. Our contract stipulates that the remaining half of the payment is due after completion. This project is not complete. Every month, we have received an invoice from Carp's for money they are not yet owed. Furthermore, they have sent us two personal emails requesting payment for incomplete work.
I am sure that when things go smoothly, Carp's does good work. If you choose to hire Carp's, pray things go smoothly.
