I'm still confused. I opened a credit card with FNBO Never late most of the time I paid my balance off in full as I do with all my credit cards. If not paid in full paid more than minimum payment. Apparently they recognize my responsibility increased my credit limit. Never came close to the credit limit. All of a sudden I get a message from my ****** which monitors my credit and I receive quarterly credit reports from all 3 credit bureaus.
My credit limit has been dropped from $5000 to $1700 mind you this is Christmas holiday and I am still not close to my $5000 limit and had no intention of EVERY being over the limit. But when they dropped my credit limit to $1700 now I'm over the limit. That looks as if I am irresponsibly with my credit. I called to explain that this is ridiculous of course I was given their reason to the possibility of why that happened and it still makes no sense. Nothing on my end change I received more lines of credit to operate my business from my bank which I pay monthly and never late. I paid off my business vehicle which is good, all of my accounts according to my 3 credit bureau reports are and have been in good standing, We went back as far as 24 months with my other accounts (Nothing) Excellent mix of credit no issues on my end. So randomly if a person gets a line of credit that has nothing to do with FNBO if they think by opening another line of credit then that's a red flag. I've been in the same business for over 13 years. Something will come up where I may used credit to fix a vehicle, paint a home, take a vacation. As long as my accounts are paid off and or paid on time and in good standing why make it FNBO business. At any rate, I took time to breath and I will pay off the account which I only had since March 2022 and close it.
My advice which I wish I had done prior to this nonsense was to read reviews before I partnering with credit card companies.
Lesson learned be happy with my current cards who have been loyal to me.

Worst credit card company ever. I came to FNBO when the ****** credit card moved from ****. They stopped my credit card over a perceived fraudulent charge...but didn't bother to call me nor email me. I had to call them and endure over a 30 minute wait to speak to a representative. A week later, I got a voicemail re a possible fraudulent charge. Called back, endured a 44 minute hold. Today I receive an email about a possible change to my login info. I log on, the website (redesigned) won't load. I call the number provided and receive "there is 1 customer ahead of you, maximum wait of 9 minutes'. 34 minutes later, I get a human being, who tells me I have to go to another area and... more waiting. I've had the original credit card for many years (my primary card as I'm a heavy ****** user & I charge 6 figures on it) and I am canceling it as soon as I get off hold

I got off hold and they're telling me I have to go to a bank and give them my ID to verify who I am & verify to them! After answering all my security Qs and providing my personal info...

      Worst bank/credit card issuer ever

      Unsatisfactory response.

A satisfactory response would have detailed the steps you're taking to improve your customer service experience. Like actually calling or emailing instead of saying you tried to call or email (how does one try to email?). Like having a call back feature on your automated telephone line.

Customer beware - this is a subpar credit card company lacking aspirations to have market standard customer service experience. One of the very worst customer experiences I've ever had.

I am just writing for customer receiving a letter from First National Bank of Omaha for a credit card pre approved. Do not apply cause I did and was declined not because I do not pay or have a bad credit score, but for having several cards.
This is ****** to lure millions of people and see who they chose, and when you are declined you have a hard inquiry on your credit report and your score is lowered, I hope some type of Goverment agency would do something about it, will write to my state reps to let now there is lot's of banks that need to be warned about this, if you do send a letter be true and say you will give credit.
Spoke to FNBO with Alexandria and filed my complaint and she said can't do nothing to remove my Hard Inquiry to my credit Report, GREAT

Dario, we are sorry to hear that our services do not meet your expectations. Please keep in mind that pre-qualified offers have a message that states "You have been pre-qualified based on a soft inquiry check on your credit report. Once you apply, we will further evaluate your request, which will include a hard inquiry check. Your offer may be different or may not be available based on our additional evaluation of your application." Unfortunately, once a hard inquiry has been submitted for a credit card application, it will not be removed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please also keep in mind, if a credit card application is declined, a letter is mailed with additional information about the decision, and you can give us a call at ************ if you have any questions about the factors on the letter or do not receive it.

Defect in the "Card by FNBO" IOS app. Within the app, there's a checkbox (under Manage Your Account) labeled "Monthly Statement Available-Notify me when my statement information is available to view online." Clicking the checkbox crashes the app. Upon reopening the app, the box remained unchecked. To avoid late fees, it is somewhat important that this option is fixed. The app and OS are at the latest release levels on my devices. (I also posted this information within the ***** App Store.)

Terrible fraud department. Lindsay who was assigned to my case did not do her job. She did not follow up with police department and never reviewed police report. At the end of her investigation she falsely accused my son of making fraudulent charges without any evidence. I wish I would have seen all the 1 star reviews of this company before doing business with them. They allowed fraudulent charges to be made on my card without my permission. Fraudulent Charges on another card of mine were stopped immediately because they have a functioning fraud department, FNBO does not. I do not recommend this company.

Fraud department did No investigation of the fraudulent charge on my credit card. Instead they just blame the card holder. I have already been in touch with your fraud department and learned quickly how dysfunctional they are. Investigators obviously sit behind a desk to collect fraud information and that's as far as it goes. This investigator has the phone number used to make this fraudulent charge but she did nothing with it! This department needs new leadership.

I had the same issue as Jesus G. I got an ****** Guest Rewards card sent to me by FNBO after ****** switched from Bank of America. The BoA card had no annual fee - the FNBO was 89$ a year. I closed that card and applied for the no fee version of the ****** card from FNBO (you shouldn't have to pay for rewards!) and was approved for 15k. I got the card on a Saturday and had not even activated it when I got the same letter Jesus G got telling me the fraud department had deactivated the card and wanted all those documents. I got on the phone and told them no. They won't close the card until I was "verified", even though they had access to my credit report. I hung up on them and promptly fed the card to the shredder (still inactivated). This is a company that has preyed upon people for years, and now treats everyone as if they are desperate for credit and begging FNBO for a card. I, unfortunately for FNBO, am not. A predatory company that is not to be trusted.

****** and FNBO sent an email offering me a credit card. Since I travel a lot on ****** I applied for it. The FNBO card was approved immediately. I already have the credit card with me, but to activate it, now FNBO is asking for my documents, Photo/ID and Copy of my Social Security Card. This is the first time that a bank asks for this information after they approved the card. This should happen before approving the card and entrap me with a $90 dollars a year subscription. I want to cancel this card. I will not send the information FNBO is asking for, because it is an IRREGULAR procedure. And it sounds like a discrimination issue.
Let me know the process to cancel this card. I do not want it anymore, and I do not want to charge me $90 dollars in advance since I cannot even use my card. Please, CANCEL my card. I will never recommend FNBO for anything.

I sent you an email to FNBO. I had a polite answer but not a solution. This bank keeps dismissing its irregular request to my process. As I asked, I want to cancel the credit card and prevent them from forcing me to pay 90 dollars annual fee for a service that I can not even use. Thanks

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY - Predatory practices. $99 lesson learned. Hidden "activation" fee listed on ******* website - hidden quite well - spoke with a CSR within 5 minutes of applying - he assured me this charge would be removed but since account was just opened - he could not look up the account. CSR today said NO - I used the card - of course I used the card cause that is where I found your bogus ad. So my tickets on ******* has now cost me an additional $99 so that I can pay for a credit card that I used once and cancelled the day I received it. Perfect example of BUYER BEWARE.

fnbo has the worst app and website I have used when banking. Every time you want it to work, it doesn't. I try to reset my password and it never works. When it does work I can log in for weeks and then out of the blue it stops letting me log in, then I have to reset my password again, and it takes hours if not days to do this. It's just the worst website and app. Please improve it!!!!

I recently made a payment to my account and went to check it online to see if the payment posted and was not able to access my account. I called customer service and was transferred to the fraud department. They said my account on hold and under review.. I was not sent any communication that a review was being done or that any fraudulent activity was detected. They wouldn't tell me how long the review would take. It's been a week since I made my payment and the account is still on hold

I'm not concerned about the hold. I understand the hold is there until the payment clears. I don't understand why my account is under review. Was there fraudulent activity? What prompted a review? Is this done every year or so? No one contacted me. No letter or email sent. Why is my account under review? Paul at the phone number provide would not give me any information.
