I have had numerous issues with FNBO being able to apply a payment correctly to my loan. In making a payment on the phone and requesting the payment be applied to principal only, FNBO has an issue they apply it to the Line of Credit (LOC). Doing this does not allow for my automated to be withdrawn. This issue has been going on now for 4 years. My latest issue is again dealing with a payment incorrectly applied to my account as LOC instead of principal only. In FNBO's process to correct the issue they have deleted one of my three payments made in September. After a month later, three phone calls and now three emails to Nathan W, the issue is still not resolved.

On 10-23-2022, I emailed Nathan W again requesting a manager to contact me. 10-27-2022, Ashlyn left a voice mail to call FNBO at their main number. 10-28-2022, I again called to speak to Ashlyn, who was on the phone but was left a message by the customer service rep to call me.
11-01-2022, still have not received a return call from Ashlyn or any managers.

I have done my due diligence to contact and be contacted by FNBO who refuses to address and correct an issue in a timely manner.

I had a card for several years and used it a few times then paid in full each time. I used the card to pay the balance ($1,500) on my Disney cruise last Thursday and received an alert that my account was closed the same day. I call customer service and they stated there was nothing that could be done and the charge probably will not go through. So now I have to wait and see then pay again and it needs to be paid in full by the end of the month or I lose my reservation. I am in shock that this is allowed and customers can be treated this way.

They add so many stipulations on their promotions that it's difficult to get and refuse to work with you or give you any customer service if you aren't wealthy. I created a new account for their $250 promotion. Make 2 direct deposits of $250 each for 2 consecutive months and they will give you $250. I did this, but they said I made 1 deposit the first month and 3 deposits the second month. They said for the first month that the last day was 7/13 and my paycheck cleared on 7/15 which is why the second month was 3 payments. Two day difference?!? Are you joking? I don't have control of when my paychecks are posted. The customer service told me this and just flat out told me "too bad". Worst customer service, worst bank.

With a perfect FICO scores of 800+, using card monthly and paying it off monthly - they sent me a letter one day of lowering my limit from 15,000 to $500. When I called in to ask why - they came up with bogus answer's claiming it's not their fault, but it is credit agencies who sent a signal to them. Then while I was on the phone with supervisor I pulled all 3 my credit reports, and found that my scores are still 800+, never late, never failed anything, I simply ask them again "what is a real reason behind it", they still could not answer that. So I had to close it and promise - I will never ever use this bank again and I do recommend you the same, especially if you have good or excellent credit.

When your credit profile is excellent at all 3 major credit bureaus - Im pretty sure there is no one to blame just the weakness of the bank and a neglected actions during recessions just to protect themselves. And just like corrupt media or the mob - they will never accept that or at least be honest once in a while.

I have a credit score > 800 Total Utilization < 1% > 7 years of history They decreased my credit limit to 10% of the old one. The reason was laughable - recently seeing more usage on this card - guess FNBO does not like customers to use their card more. The CS agent did not care at all - kept saying: the reason is on the letter. We get the decision from credit reporting bureau which is a lie - Banks make decision on their own with info from credit reporting bureau. Again my score is > 800 TODAY Closed my account immediately Will never do any business with FNBO

Yes your Customer Care Specialists are more than happy to help close my account - when she heard my request to close my account. she immediately and delightfully said "Okayyyyyy".

Her answers to my questions were either lies or useless.

      Again

My total Ulti is <0.5% across ALL credit cards
      Score ~800
      No bad history at all

It made me mad because I just decided to use evergreen as my go-to card because I did like smooth web design.

But glad to know what kind of bank FNBO really is. Better than knowing it too late.

ALERT: STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK

On May 29, 2022, I mailed a check (member since 2001) for $65.94 to pay my account in full. The check cleared the bank on June 6, 2022 (FNBO bought out Synchrony Bank). After the check cleared the bank and for the next four months (June, July, August, & September), I received a billing statement with a balance. As of today, the balance is showing as $39.97. Attempting to resolve this situation, I called FNBO. The first course of action I was instructed to take was to return to my physical bank to request a copy of the cleared check (front and back). In addition, I was asked to have the bank fax a copy of the cleared check to FNBO. I did receive a receipt of the complete fax transaction. FNBO also instructed me that the situation would be resolved, and no further action was required. Then, to my surprise, I received another statement requesting payment. I called FNBO again, informing them of the situation. Upon contacting an FNBO representative, I was asked to verify the fax number and resend the cleared check (I resent the check three more times). However, I still received another statement for September 2022. This time the FNBO representative was unprofessional and rude; she also stated, "I have been making payments to the wrong company" and must pay the balance in full. After closing the account, FNBO reported a false rating to the three nationwide credit bureaus. This action lowered my credit score (which ranges in the high 800s). As of today, FNBO continues to report delinquent payments on my credit report/credit bureaus.

Please spare yourself the headache. I received a credit card about 6 months ago with a 14,000.00. Credit limit. I never put more than 1200.00 on this card I paid the card off in full and they decreased my credit limit down to 500.00 not 5,000.00 but 500.00. I called their customer service which was no help at all they stated they reviewed my **** score and based on my score the decreased my limit. I said sir my credits scores are still in the 700 what are you talking about. Then he proceeded to say it's ur revolving debt. I said once again that to sir is not accurate. They told me after 4 months I can request a credit increase now why would I do that I would rather close this card and take the hit to my credit score. This company is about the money not the people.

Regina, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, and we are sorry to hear that you aren't satisfied with your recent experiences. Credit increases and decreases are based on your credit profile as a whole. When the decision is made to change an account's credit limit, a letter is sent with additional information about the decision. If you feel the factors on the letter are incorrect, we would recommend reviewing a copy of your credit report for any information that may be reporting incorrectly. If you have questions about any other aspect of your account, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone at ************.

Stay away from this card/ company. I have had them since January. I was excited an very happy with them until, i wake up to find my avaliable credit at $0. I called they say you habe delinquencies on your account. My account was up to date. How ever being as though it was with in 6 months. Paying your account on the due date is considered past due. They do not off any txt notification, nor off automatic payments. To have accounts shut down with out notice as a small business owner. Relying on these 2 personal accounts to help get through this tough time. They do not care, there is no one to talk to even reconsider. I have tried, i understand the importance of payment history and credit. But to have 1 "late payment with a late charged" per account an close itbis ridiculous. I was excited about this card an company months ago, even told several other to get it. Now i wish i would have chosen something else. A great experience turned into now a nightmare. Baware of how these cards operate is my best advice.

I appreciate the response. However my accounts were closed an they said their is no opening them back up. As a new business owner this year, my personal credit went down due to opening the business. The business now starting to pick up, but in the mean time i was relying on those cards to help me get through this tough time. Understand you have a business to run, a few days late or even paying on the due date should not cause the cards to be shutdown. Some of those cards were going to help me make it through just another month. I just needed a little more time. An when i called the customer service number. The credit department that shut the cards down was not even open after the holiday. Understand the card is new within 6 months or so, I've never gone more than few days late. That is just ridiculous to me. I was very happy with fnbo until this out of no where. Very disappointing

I have had credit accounts with FNBO for a year. I pay my accounts as soon as I receive my statement, and I generally pay the full balance. I have had a fine relationship with FNBO. HOWEVER- I suddenly count not access my my accounts via android or computer. It took 2 days for a rep to discover that my accounts were put 'on hold'. I spoke to the fraud department, & they could provide no logical explanation, just that it may have been randomly. I received no prior notice to this happening, which means charges made were now invalid, & payments did not go thr6. I have excellent credit, & do not understand why this has happened! Are my accounts being cancelled? When will I be notified (it's been over a week)? Any why have I- with an excellent record as a FNBO user been singled out? I need answers1
