Building credit with this business will help you destroy your credit score, $4200 limit, charge $2300 they drop limit to $2500, then pay another $1000 to keep the percentage down to do another credit limit change to $1200 all within months to hold your credit balance to 90% or more!! I just paid it off and done with them!!!First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

I applied to the Amtrak Guest Rewards Premium card to cover an Amtrak trip I had planned. Upon getting approved for the card I was given a very small credit limit despite my income being high enough to solicit something considerably higher. Customer service was unwilling to consider a credit limit increase even after I received a raise at work, completely negating the benefits of the card that I should have received and that were the entire reason I signed up for the card. Furthermore FNBO did not give me an option to leave a review about the poor service I received.

Emma, are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with our services, and you may be assured that we have shared your concerns with the appropriate teams. Please keep in mind, there are many factors other than income that are utilized when determining the credit limit for a new account, and a credit limit increase request cannot be submitted within the first 6 months that an account is open. If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call us at 888-530-3626, or submit a secure message after logging into your account from our website.Review fromChristian B

I applied for a credit card through fnbo and they requested a copy of my ID, my w-2s and my social security card. They wanted me to physically mail them these copies instead of providing a direct link to upload this and did not accept the ability to fax it over. For a bank, this is a terrible practice and puts customer at risk.
Also, when I told an employee that I was uncomfortable with sending my information through the mail they told me I can fax it over. They then denied me and told me fax I sent is not acceptable as they won't accept anything faxed and that although the employee just told me the wrong information, they could not help. Avoid them at all cost, surprised any organization would use this as their bank.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

Had stolen CC and Fraud, reported same day and they are the only company not updating my balance and minimum payment while the claim is being investigated. Customer service can’t say why payment hasn’t been adjusted nor can the claim department. They say to pay it and I’ll get reimbursed. 1st that is against federal regulations to make me pay for a claim in process. 2nd if I can’t get answers now how can I expect a refund if I make the minimum payment . Expect my acct to be closed immediately upon claim being completed.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

FNBO will allow a charge well over your amount available to spend on your account without your permission and then come back and say you are well over your credit limit. You now owe us $$$!
I have never had any credit card company do this ever in 40 + years!!First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

Called about fraudulent Apple/iTunes charges on my debit card that were spanning the entire month of March. I didn’t check my acct much last month (March 2025) because for once I had a decent chunk of money. When I went to pay rent my payment declined leading me to check my debit acct. I PANICKED! I say $2300+ worth of charges to Apple that I never made on my acct over the month. I immediately called them and reported it. Within 48 hrs they were reimbursing my funds! Amazing, incredible speed of this team! I hope your hard work never goes unnoticed, and I hope every single person who helped me (a single mom usually living paycheck to paycheck) receives the amazing karma they deserve! I will forever recommend FNBO to everyone I know just based on this experience alone. I have been banking with them for over 10 years and this is only the second time I have had to report fraud. It is nice to know my money is safe with them. Thank you FNBO!!!!First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

They let fraudsters steal your money using cloned debit cards & then try to blame it on you saying you were involved so they don't have to repay it! Refusing to pay back around $7700 that was stolen from our checking account thru debit card fraud! Don't trust FNBO of Omaha with your money, probably how they got a 76 story building in downtown Omaha!First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

I had just under 700 credit score, just paid them 11,000$ lump sum, never made a late payment in 7 years. Just after making the payment they pulled all my available credit leaving me with just 3500$ limit, I just freed up that available credit and they tanked my score 35 points, that’s just bad buisness. Customer service doesn’t do anything.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)

(144th and FNB Parkway) I have been a customer for well over 15 years. I went in today to open a new savings account and deposit a check of over $80,000.00. Had to stand in line because they did not have enough tellers to help the three people in line. They did have time for the sun-baked, older female employee to stand in the lobby and tell two ladies how she had just been to Mexico though. By the time I get to the counter, I am told that they won't open any accounts because, "we close in four minutes." What a piss poor example of customer service. Not only that but there was another employee standing behind her watching the exchange(I am assuming some type of employee trainer). Had I not had to stand in line, there would have had time to open my new account. I was told earlier that it takes 10 minutes to open an account. I was there with enough time to do so. I wasn't told that be a half hour early to open an account so the employees do not blow you off because they are lazy. This check and my existing account will be going to your competitor. Can't wait for the canned response below.First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO)
