I had my equipment listed in Machinery / Forestry Trader and ***** *********** from Pro Market Connections called making bold claims that he had three buyers ready to purchase. He's the sales manager for a reason. He will not keep you informed of the process, rarely returns calls or answers his phone. Over a month ago they claimed someone would contact me to come look at the equipment and verify its condition, nothing. I agree with previous folks on his tactics. He claims he has buyers lined up ready to purchase, there are no such buyers. Then he qualifies his statement, "but I can't make them buy it". He makes the claim if you pay $2000.00 he"ll get it into the "dealer auction" that day where buyers are waiting. What dealer auction, where, how can I look to see what is going on, why haven't you kept me informed? Then he says, "unless you don't believe me". The next request was for date / time stamped photos which I sent, nothing, crickets. I had no time to look up Pro Market Connections reviews, I won't make that mistake again. I called my **** provider and told them about the fraud and they are going to handle it from here. I am hopeful they can get at least a partial refund for me. Do not under any circumstances give these folks your hard earned money. The sales rep won't return my calls either. ****** is the only one who actually will answer the phone. You get the idea, buyer beware. If you ever make contact with anyone, there's excuses or "we'll get back to you". This is not an operation you want to do business with.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I believe Pro Market Connections is a legitimate company, however their tactics are not.
The problem lies with ***** *********** making big claims if you’ll pay $2,000 up front. He claimed to need the money to get my Cat listed in the “dealer’s auction”.
I asked ***** to send me the dealer auctions with dates so i can verify his claims. As of yet he has not provided any such list. He also claimed he had 3 buyers lined up and ready to go at $89,900. Sounded a bit too good to be true, but i trusted what he told me. None of those prospects materialized. Of course he always qualifies his claims with, “of course I can’t make them buy it”. He also claims i never look at my email, which is false. When i do question him he isn’t very friendly on the matter and gets defensive. He’s the problem, not Pro Market Connections. Sadly i found out too late they have a reputation in the industry as the “Omaha Scammers”. My negative feedback stands as he has made no offer to make things right. They only provide a 48-hour window for refunds, not enough time to even get the equipment listed. He has cost me $2,600+ with no results. I see no prospects for even a partial refund. When i listed on their auction site the fee was $799.00. I paid $599.00 with my **** with the understanding i would pay an additional $200.00 when it sold. ****** stated they do not retain card numbers so I’ll have to call back. When ***** called me a week later he had my **** number on file. Another dishonesty on their part. My sales rep, **** **** called me two weeks ago with a buyer and stated he would call me back that day or the next, never heard another word from him. I suspect ***** was mad about the negative review as his call to me was as though it was all my fault and less than professional. I regret working with these folks and others should be warned. If you read this far, thank you for hearing me out. Have a good day. ***
Sincerely,

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to the recent complaint filed against Pro Market Conditions. While we value customer feedback and strive to meet the needs of our clients, we must correct some misinformation and address the conduct displayed by the customer.
The customer entered into a business agreement with us after fully understanding and accepting our terms and conditions. Since then, he has repeatedly insisted that we operate outside of these terms, using threats of negative reviews and BBB complaints to pressure us into actions that contradict our agreed-upon policies.
It's important to clarify that we have worked diligently to meet our customer's needs, even beyond the standard terms. After the first complaint, we addressed his concerns, which he acknowledged and agreed to remove the initial complaint. However, he has since reverted and continued to threaten us with negative publicity if we do not sell his machine immediately. This behavior is unfair and contrary to the ethical principles we uphold.
We cannot control market conditions or force buyers to purchase equipment. We have, however, provided the customer with multiple interested buyers, to which he has not responded. Additionally, he is outside of the eligibility window for a refund, which is clearly stated in our terms and conditions.
It is concerning that this platform can be used to spread false information about a company, especially when the same customer previously confirmed that we had resolved his initial complaint to his satisfaction. We take great pride in our business reputation and strive to provide excellent service, but we cannot be compelled to operate outside of our established policies due to threats or slander. We urge the BBB to consider this response when reviewing the complaint and to encourage this customer to engage with us in good faith. We remain open to resolving any legitimate concerns and are committed to fair and honest business practices.
Thank you for your attention, and please let us know if additional information is required.Initial Complaint

Pro Market was paid $2,060 over the phone to place my truck on the website and sell. Owner of said business indicated on the phone that he had several interested car dealers who wanted to purchase the truck. He also stated that the truck would likey sell in 12-30 days from my payment. He did place the truck on his website, but further research reveal that his website has negligable exposure on the internet. Phone calls to *** *********** always resulted in excuses and false claims. At one point he claimed a bank had requested time-stamped photos of the truck mileage and VIN. I rushed this information to him, but the "deadline" determined by the "bank" passed and still no actual sale. Other customers who have been bilked by this company have posted complaints online that show this company follows the exact same patterns of deceit with many of their victims. The proprietor must know exactly what he is doing. His defense has always been that he did exactly what he said he would do: put the information on his website. This is technical. It is likely that he has no intention or fiduciary interest in actually selling the truck.Business Response

The transaction took place in August of 2023. The total amount I paid was 3600.00. My Son and I had a three way phone conversation with there sales manager. He talked me into advertising my vehicle on the website, saying that 2 buyers were waiting for me to put the pickup on the website so they could bid on it. He suggested the price to list. The vehicle never received one bid and he never called me and to this day has not called me. I called every time I ordered to keep communication about the deal. He gave me nothing but excuses. I contacted their customer service to express my dissatisfaction with the transaction and a representative, she told me they would listen to all the phone conversations with him and get back with me. She never contacted me back. If you folks get the chance to listen to those phone calls, you will no doubt conclude that the sales manager was scamming me to get my money with no intention of selling. All I want is my money back and never deal with that company again.Business Response

Hello. On October 28th 2023 Promarket connections contacted me to advertise a truck with them. They stated they had 4 buyers who lost out on a truck just like mine and they were sure it would sell within 4-7 weeks. They also said I should raise the price from $195,000 to $205,000. I gave them $1500 to advertise the truck. On 11-3-2023 Another manager/ salesperson contacted me. He stated since they have 4 buyers interested, we should put the truck in an auction. This way the 4 buyers could bid against each other, and we could potentially get up to $215,000. Also stating if we put it in the auction the buyers could finance through the auction for a lower interest rate. I gave them an additional $3500 for the auction. He stated the process would take 4-7 weeks. The Salesman made it sound like the truck was already sold and all I had to do was wait for the process to go through. The auction has never received any bids. I am willing to pay the original $1500 for advertising but the $3500 for auction fees seems like a set up. This company is verry hard to get ahold of. Every time I call it goes to a voice mail. In the last 3 weeks I have left 3 messages for *** ****** ***** ******** and I have got no response. Let me know if you can help. Thank you.Business Response

This compony told me they will advertise and sale my truck within 30 days. The cost for their service was $500 which I paid. Now nearly 6 months later, I never got even one offer on my truck. I do not think they advertised my truck. This compony is a scam. I posted my truck on other websites too and would get regular offers/interests. That’s why i think promarket connections is scam. I asked them to refund my money but they refused.Business Response

Near the end of November 2023, I was contacted by Pro Market Connections and solicited to have them sell m* *** ******* tractor. I said I’d think about it.
Then early December 2023, **** **** of Pro Market Connections, phoned and told me that they recently sold a similar tractor to my, but pictures of my tractor looked much nicer than the one that was sold. **** also stated that he had two persons eager to purchase my tractor. **** also said he’d be able to sell it within 5 to 7 business days. Pro market Connections would guarantee me no less than the reserve price of 51k USD
John also said that he and the buyer would arrange the logistics, and upon the agreed price of 51k USD, the funds would go in an escrow account. Then when my tractor would arrive at the purchaser’s destination, the funds from the escrow account, would be wire transferred to me.
The service fee for Pro Market Connections was $513.97 USD.
I gave **** ****, of Pro Market Connections, a ********** Number for the $513.97 USD on Wednesday 6 December 2023.
On Thursday 7 December I phoned **** ****, but only got his answering machine. I left a message that I had changed my mind and did not want to proceed with the listing and asked for a full refund of the $513.97 USD.
I followed up the next day, Friday 8 December with an email, just to ensure that my cancellation was received.
On Monday 11 December 2023, received an email stated that Pro Market Connections has just listed the ad for my tractor.
On Tuesday 12th December received an email followed by a phone call from ***** *******, of Pro Market Connections. ***** ******* asked a lot of questions, and finally said that I was well outside of their company's refund window, a forty-eight hour window for a refund.
I also notified them that I was contacting the Better Business Bureau and the ******** ********* office of Nebraska.
Pro Market Connections is a total scam.

The customer was given notification at the time of registration and at the time of his refund request and FULLY UNDERSTOOD the terms and conditions for a refund. The customer called and still demanded a refund despite acknowledging that he was outside the terms and conditions that he had agreed to. The customer then stated that he would use the BBB complaint page to damage our company's online reputation if he did not receive a full refund. We declined the customer's request for a refund and days later saw the flood of false comments made by the customer displayed on the BBB's site. The customer is not eligible for a refund and we will not respond to extorsion attempts that threaten our company's online reputation to gain a refund that the customer is not eligible for. It is shameful and we are disappointed that the customer decided to stoop to these levels.Initial Complaint

This company is stated to be pro market solutions that market items for sale. This company is scam and should be shut down.
Their scam seems to be to contact people with items for sale on facebook and other places and through a series of phones, false promises and lies, claim to market these items - promising validated buyers - which do not exist.

I am rejecting this response because:The last statement posted as all others avoid the central fallacy of this company. They did NOT do or provide what they said. They told me, as they have told many other customers that they had multiple buyers ready to buy the items in questions. This is the lie. Yes, they put an ad on their low to no traffic web site, where no potential buyers are likely to use.
In Addition, they extend the lie to try and get additional money by claiming buyers are ready and willing if an additional large sum ($1500 in my case).
Their business practices are misleading at best, if not completely fraudulent. Their attempt to counter this claim by throwing term like 'extorting' a refund is libelous. I was lied to about having buyers lined up and was solicited with additional lies to pay $1500 to put an add on ****** There appears to be no ability to resolve this via BBB mechanisms, will have to pursue other avenues.

I was contacted by Pro Market Connections and solicited to have them sell my camper for me. I was asked for $500.00 for the listing and they never said anything about any further charges. Once the listing was prepared, they asked for an additional $1500.00 for the listing, telling me they had 7 buyers waiting to buy the camper. In addition, they sent me an email that stated "This is ***** *********** from Pro Market Connections. Pro market Connections will guarantee you no less than the reserve price of $58,900 on your 2017 Keystone Alpine**. You will never be asked to sell it for a lower price...period. I look forward to hearing back from you!" nothing happened. That was April 26, 2023. After inquiring about the sale of the camper, communications ceased and the camper has not been sold. I asked for the $1500.00 dollars back or the guarantee payment for the camper and received this email "Hello Mr Clark,
Unfortunately, you are well outside of our company's refund window. In the highlighted section to the initial email in this thread, you'll see that you were guaranteed a reserve price. Meaning that you would never be forced to sell your item for less than your desired asking price. We cannot guarantee the sale of your motorhome, nor can we guarantee any time frame for sale. Like any marketing and advertising service, Pro Market Connections cannot control buyer behavior. We are actively promoting your vehicle across our various platforms as you've paid us to do, and we will continue to do so until sold." This is not the guarantee that was explained to me on the phone when I handed over $1500.00. I notified them that I was contacting you and the Attorney General's office of Nebraska.

Breach of contract. Agreement said my item would be listed for auction until sold. It was listed for 6 weeks; not listed for 5 weeks; then after I complained they relisted it and tried to say is was running the entire time. They refused a full refund. Talked about how they are a great business with great “****** reviews”. I have no way to leave a ****** review. Wish people could be warned not to waste their money on this “company”.
I have screen shots regarding my auction.
Also, 2 weeks after I signed up—they tried to get me to pay more money for an international auction that would get me $**** more than adking price guaranteed. At this point I felt it was all a scam, but was going to hope for the best. Fast forward a few weeks and I realized they were no longer listing my item for auction.
