      Horrible customer service policy. Was issued a store credit and have all paperwork showing a store credit. Tried to use credit on a purchase and they said the credit expired after 1 year. Nowhere on the paperwork I was given was this policy stated. They tried to give me a card that shows that store credits expire after 12 months but at no time was I given one at the time they issued the credit. So as I was in the process of purchasing over $6,000 worth of furniture I chose to walk out the door and will purchase elsewhere. My in store credit was $219 and they lost my business and I will never step foot in there door again.

      I waited two months only for the dates to end up getting pushed back even more. Went shopping for it in May and got told we would get it June 13. They said that they got sued for having an exact date. BUT THEN THEY GIVE US AN EXACT DATE!? Right now (June 25) I don’t even have HALF of the bed. So they literally shipped barely half of it, and now I have to wait another couple weeks for the REST OF THE BED.

      We purchased a $14K Dacor (owned by Samsung) built-in refrigerator from Nebraska Furniture Mart in July 2024. Since then, we have had a major water leaking issue happening under the deli drawer which has resulted in flooding in our kitchen, NUMEROUS appointments with Dacor Technicians (who can't fix the issue) and an ongoing problem! The first time this happened we were told that there was a crucial part that helps with defrosting and water run off that was just NOT INSTALLED on the older Dacor units. So effectively, our appliance was operating without the parts necessary to make it work properly! That part has now been replaced (amongst others) 3X and the same water leaking issue persists. Despite it still being under our 2 year warranty, NFM refuses to help in any way accept directing us to Dacor customer service. They have not done anything to assist us with this issue!! They say that we have to deal directly with Dacor as the warranty is through them- this was NEVER disclosed to us at time of purchase! Why on earth would I buy from NFM if they do NOTHING after the sale for a customer in need?? This problem has been ongoing for 10 months and STILL NFM will do nothing to help. Dacor has been useless as well, giving us the runaround. We will never buy anything from these companies again!!

      NFM Dallas refused to sell me a microwave unless I provided my driver’s License. They couldn’t tell me why other than store policy. It didn’t matter if I paid cash or card (I wasn’t financing), they said any purchase over $200 required them to register an account for me and had to be verified with my license.

      Purchased a complete bedroom suite sold by NFM under the name Legacy Classic Furniture in 2012. Delivery was weird. Received nightstands 1st, dresser, and after days, finally the bed. To me the set is beautiful. Fast forward to 2025 & I can attest to the inferior quality. The finish on a particular trim on the headboard is cracking & lifting off. It’s more like a paint not stain. And you have to be extremely careful with the finish because it is easily marred. 90% of the drawers, and I have 15 no longer sit in the opening square. Like they are off track but they are not. I never overload a drawer, 2 have nothing in them. I really thought for the money this would be my last set, I’m 67, and it will, but frankly, Legacy Classic Furniture is at best, a lower mid grade furniture line. Polishing this furniture has become a chore trying to bring that luster back out. Works for about 1day then looks smeary. Very sorry I didn’t spend that $5,000 on used vintage pieces that have stood the test of time. And this set has only been moved 1x in 13 yrs. Can not and do not recommend this brand.

      We bought an outdoor sectional in March of 2024, we put it outside in April 2024 and the put it inside for the winter in Sep. Within a month or 2 noticed the wood splitting on the arms and and flaking off. Called NFM to make claim they came out and the techs agreed that this was damaged and should be replaced. NFM told me that it was not a manufacturing defect and since it was outside unprotected that it was not covered by them, so we were SOL on a $2400 purchase from Nebraska Furniture Mart! The furniture was made by Ashley but they don't do claims if not purchased from them.

      We got new carpet installed on a FREE tear up & haul away, FREE install, and FREE furniture move. They wanted to charge us extra to move some furniture so we did that ourselves. They call you to go over a quote and expected me to know everything we needed for the install i.e. shims, tuck & tack, etc. I am not a carpet installer. The person who measures will add extra things in quote and if you agree to the quote assuming it's right based on them supposedly being professionals then that's the price you will pay no matter what. The install was a standard install and no shims were ever used which should've been free. I was told since I agreed to the quote not knowing if shims were needed or not they won't take off that charge even though that work was never completed. We have three more rooms to get new carpet and hope we can find that same carpet from a different company. I will not use NFM again solely based on their customer service and false advertising of their promotions.

      We purchased a table here in August. It is now the end of March and we still do not have a satisfactory table. It took a very long time for the table to come in, lots of frustration figuring out pick up, and then that table was damaged. We had to drive the 6-hour round trip to Exchange that damaged table, spent over 2 hours waiting on the dock inspecting three additional tables, and all of them also had significant damage. They have now delivered to our house twice, but each of those tables were also damaged. The little monetary compensation they've offered was not even fully honored. And we are in a, what feels like, never ending cycle to try to get a table that isn't damaged. The model on the floor did not have scratches and dings and mars, so I would have expected the table I purchased not to either. It's been incredibly frustrating and I would highly recommend not purchasing this, or possibly any other, item at NFM.

      BUYER BEWARE! I bought a Samsung on TV because of all the great reviews, Samsung was the only choice as far as I was concerned. I was told by many friends and many professionals saying that Samsung was the best out there. I bought my TV from what I thought was the “AWESOME” Nebraska Furniture Mart. During the purchase the sales Associate (which was amazing) offered us an extended service contract. I thought this was a “no brainer”. Fast forward to when the TV was delivered. It was damaged, NFM ended up replacing the TV because the “ALLSTATE” warranty I bought did not cover the damage. I finally got my TV, and it was perfect. We loved it and were happy with the purchase. Fast forward to February 2025. I got home and the glass on front of the TV was on the ground shattered. You could imagine my shock and surprise. I made a claim on my “SQUARE TRADE ALSTATE” extended service contract”. They denied my claim without talking to me nor seeing any pictures!! I was “told” the warranty would cover anything. After 3 emails they offered to refund the cost of the warranty. I told them this was unacceptable and that I would be turning to social media so anyone that reads my review will be aware that NFM and SQUARE TRADE BY ALSTATE are deceitful and will do anything to not pay a claim. They refused to pay the full amount for the TV so here I am letting the world know! BE AWARE!

      BETH! In Customer Service! You are amazing! Super friendly, fun to talk to, and incredibly helpful. Thanks for making the whole process easy and enjoyable. Answered my question about early furniture pickup with patience and a great attitude. It is so rare to find such outstanding customer service, and she truly went above and beyond. I will praise this Gal time and time again! And yes, I will tell my mom moving in the snow is cheaper than summer ?? See ya at pickup this afternoon! Happy Valentines Day!
