We purchased a gray couch and 2 chairs from NFM and the salesperson sold us on the Trade Square protection plan because it included a free cleaning and damage repairs. We contacted Trade Square about a repair needed on our sofa they asked when the damage occurred. My husband wasn't exactly sure of the date so he gave them 40 days back. We were told that they would NOT provide assistance because the damage happened 40 days ago and we had to report it within 30 days. I called and spoke with a representative and explained that he didn't know the date they stated they would fix it and send me information to finish the claim. The next day we received an email that they would not fix it. This "protection" plan cost us over $300 and is complete fraud. When bringing the issue up with NFM they said "well that's insurance company's for you". Stay away from any protection plan they try to sell you. NFM sells you on a "protection and service plan" then washes their hands of it once a customer has an issue. This is clearly a pass the buck move. We spent over $3,500.00 on that visit alone...2 chairs that are now bubbling and a ripped sofa that they refuse to fix.

Purchased a LG refrigerator 15 months ago the lady that waited on us assured us that the side by side we purchased was a good refrigerator top seller. The lady didn’t bother telling me the one we purchased might have a linear compressor and if the refrigerator does have a linear compressor you will get a 10 year warranty but after 5 years LG will pay for the compressor the customer pays the 1000 dollars in labor, guess what my compressor is leaking the fan motor that keeps the ice maker making ice. It has been 6 weeks now maybe 5 regardless we just get a call that our service person can’t make it the day after tomorrow because of the weather so they want to reschedule, shouldn’t you wait till the weather at least gets bad. Contacting NFM got us nowhere there extended warranty gets us nowhere. Very frustrated that I spend 2000 on a refrigerator to get 15 months out of it leaking compressor and a failed fan motor because a lying salesperson cannot be honest with the customers I can’t be the only person that has been lied to LG IS NO DARN BETTER THEY CANT STAND BEHIND THERE JUNK TYERE SELLING JUST ADMIT IT QUIT RIPPING OF THE HARD WORKING MAN TRYING TO MAKE HIS WIFE HAPPY AND BUY HER THE BRAND NEW REFRIGERATOR SHE DESERVES. Stay clear of sales people do your own research which I usually do and I did not on this purchase shame on me. Coming close to taking the darn thing back and tell them where to stick it. Probably sell it to someone else then they would have my problem. Bad business

Chris R*****, Subject: Formal Complaint of Sexual Harassment
I am writing to formally report an incident of sexual harassment that occurred while NFM drivers delivered home goods to my house.
At approximately 5PM 31JAN, 2025 (2) two drivers came to our home to drop off a newly purchased mattress we had purchased the day prior. Upon arriving we were told the sales representative did not fill out the portion about taking the older mattress and they would not be taking it with them. This was not an issue. However they did offer to be paid on the side (which the company does not support, but does turn a blind eye to, as the drivers are a 3rd party company).
I stepped outside to make a phone call to the sales rep to get the paperwork corrected so we could get our older mattress taken away. During this time, my wife and the (2) two delivery personnel go into the bedroom area, two which a torrent of unwelcome sexual language and behavior. We have small children and our current mattress is older and stained as each child has grown up in the bed with us over the years. They unleashed a constant barrage of sexual remarks, jokes and innuendos about the mattresses condition.
This violated my wifes dignity and forced her to leave the room to look for myself. These (2) deviants created an intimidating, hostile and offensive environment that my wife was shook as to what had just happened and she heard. The remarks they made were within ear shot of my small children as well.
Upon re-entering the home the (2) two drivers where now leaving and my wife told me of the incident that had taken place. I immediately called NFM about what took place and "Mary" was more concerned with the mattress and not the solicitation or the sexual harassment that took place. I called every few days to get a resolution over the incident but was never provided anything.
Today I was told the best NFM would offer was $120 refund and a $30 in store credit for the drivers actions.

We purchased a dining room table and chairs. This was a higher priced table so we thought the quality would be better. We bought the extended warranty for any damage on the product. After 14 months of owning this furniture the top of the table started to flake color off and the side of the table. The laminate started to peel. We submitted a claim approximately 45 days after noticing this and we turned it into the extended warranty. The extended warranty declined to cover the damage because the claim was not submitted within 30 days. Nobody explained that we had 30 days to call for coverage. Nebraska furniture mart is not standing behind their product or warranty. We had the same problem with lifetime warranty flooring with NFM. We will no longer purchase anything from this company.

We purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress from Nebraska Furniture Mart in Feb 2021. We were told it has 10yr warranty while buying. With in 3years we noticed the bed is sagging and result of it we undergoing bad back pains. When we contacted NFM, they asked us to contact Tempur-Pedic as its their product and NFM cannot do anything about this. When contacted Tempur-Pedic, they mentioned because we are not using Tempur-pedic suggested base, we are experiencing these issues with mattress. While buying, no one from NFM mentioned us it is mandatory to use Tempur-Pedic suggested base only. We trusted NFM, so bought it in the store. NFM should have informed us about specific base to be used. Now its like we wasted $3699 on this mattress.

I purchased the "Crestview Collection Zambia Sideboard in Black" Credenza from Nebraska Furniture and was initially pleased with the design. However, within a week of use, we noticed fine sawdust accumulating on the tile beneath the unit. We thought it might be due to regular use, but the sawdust kept appearing every few days.

Recently, we closely inspected the furniture with a flashlight and discovered pin-sized holes directly above where the sawdust was found. These holes are consistent with those caused by wood-boring insects. To clarify, there are no termites or pests in our home—we have our property professionally treated quarterly for prevention. The issue is clearly isolated to the furniture itself.

Despite reporting this issue to Nebraska Furniture Mart, they refused to take any action or offer a replacement, citing the elapsed time since purchase. This is incredibly disappointing, as this is clearly a product defect that poses potential risks to homes and other furniture.

I strongly urge Nebraska Furniture Mart to stand by their products and address such issues appropriately. For prospective buyers, I recommend thoroughly inspecting any furniture before bringing it into your home and reconsidering purchasing from a retailer unwilling to resolve such serious matters.

The mart has terrible customer service. Mrs. B would roll over in her grave. I purchased a fridge. It broke down within a few days. I called the mart and they sent me directly to GE. GE messed up the call and sent the tech to the wrong address. I called the tech. He said too bad. Call GE or the mart. I called the mart. They said too bad call GE. I explained that this was their error and that my freezer would be broken for another week at minimum. They said too bad. Can't help. They are too big. I hope another large appliance dealer comes into our area and gives them competition that they need. Mrs. B would fire them all.

Spent over 600$ and used the NFM card. When making payments online that took the account and had the funds I was notified 3 weeks later by mail that there was a problem and I was charged 40 extra dollars. Still have yet to receive my money back for the 40$ charge. Customer service is nothing but dismissive and rude. Will not continue to shop and would never recommend. Zero stars if I could.

want to share the nightmare I’ve had dealing with Whirlpool and Nebraska Furniture Mart.

I bought a clearance fridge from Nebraska Furniture Mart for my elderly parents, who live on a fixed Social Security income. I was told the fridge had no issues and was only returned because the previous customer changed their mind. Unfortunately, that turned out to be completely false.

Shortly after, I left town, and when I returned, my parents told me the fridge wasn’t working properly. The food in the refrigerator section kept freezing, while the freezer section wasn’t cold enough to keep ice cream solid. Since May, I’ve been in constant contact with Whirlpool and Nebraska Furniture Mart. They’ve sent technicians repeatedly and even replaced a part, yet the same issues persist. Now, they claim the fridge is “working as designed” and instructed us not to put food on the top shelf to avoid freezing. I’ve purchased fridges before and have never been told I couldn’t use all the shelves.

After this experience, I’ll never buy from Whirlpool or Nebraska Furniture Mart again. My parents can’t afford to waste food with the rising cost of groceries, and every week I have to call Whirlpool, wait on hold for over an hour, only to be told the same excuses. They even warned they would charge me $75 for another technician visit.

This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience, and the lack of accountability from both companies is unacceptable.
