Worse service ever experienced. Every person gives different answers. Apparently none were correct. No help whatsoever. No help on what exact information was required. Process was so confusing and difficult. Impossible to navigate. Hope I never have to deal with this company again.

I wouldn't give this place half a star. Retired Veteran and using them to try and get help is impossible. I was working and had a severe neck Injury that is affecting my arms and even my legs, my ability to walk at times and extreme pain. It's been 6 months and I'm using VA health care because this company refuses to give me the specialists and surgeons I need to have my issue resolved. I have been out of work for months with no pay at all and have hired an attorney who has not had a response as well from them. They were rude and extremely disrespectful to me and have no care for the employee of whoever a claim is filed against. They refuse to acknowledge my injuries and I have multiple surgeries scheduled. This is not only how Veterans are treated but it does affect me both emotionally and physically and as I can't work it's becoming increasingly difficult to make ends meet even with military retirement. I sleep in a recliner and I am 39 years old. There is no resolution and little hope of being able to catch up on bills anytime soon. I have a son I can't travel to see as I was because of my unresolved health issues and the financial strain of not being able to work. This is an absolutely horrible company who does not care for the employees that are legitimately hurt who file claims to get the help they need to move forward in there life.

Despicable company with low ethic claims managers, Jim V******, this would be you. Their client, Coke, sent out a technician to fix their fountain machine. He broke my equipment in the process. Coke turned off the water to my ice machine because the technician didn't see it; look at the picture I attached. Do you see an ice machine? To fix my machine, is under Cokes deductible so they give it to Sedgwick to investigate and pay or not. They are not a legitimate claims management company, and they lie about investigations. They never investigated my machine, called me once, came to my shop or ask what happened. They got their information from Coke, made a decision and sent me a letter. Worst excuse for a business ever. Avoid Jim V****** . He is a dishonest and unethical unprofessional I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Coke is just as shallow. There needs to be a class action lawsuit against Sedgwick. Sedgwick works for Coke and other big companies. They are not an independent anything. They are paid to investigate and deny the claim by the person the claim is AGAINST.!
    COKE! How is this oK?

I am going to try to be as fair and equitable as I can. The customer service agents are nice enough but they are merely virtual door greeters. The Examiners seem to make very little effort to research the claim. In my case, they never responded to requests for the "Release of Information" authorization that I provided them up front. When I spoke to my Examiner, they were nice enough but seemingly pretty empty on the details. The "M.O" appears to be that Sedgwick denies for a lack of supporting documentation that they never attempted to collect and would ignore when I sent them the information. Once denied, the "Independent Reviewer" became one more layer of bureaucracy to protect the purse strings. I looked for reviews with more than just one star. Even the three star that I read supports my complaint of Sedgwick. It is pretty telling when it goes 1 star, 1 star, 1 star, 1 star. The lone 5 star reads like a Sedgwick paid for review.. a real outlier. I am not sure what courses of action are really available but I do plan to let my HR know what a scum bag organization Sedgwick is.

I’ve been “working” with a “Carol S****” from Sedgwick for a little over a week now regarding a fender bender that happened to my car. It’s been over a week and I have made 0 progress with her. Each time I reach out to her to try to pull information to maybe help out and speed the process up she either disregards my requests or just ignores my emails. I wish I didn’t have to deal with this company for my car but I have to. Considering just filing a lawsuit at this point.

It's been 2 months and Sedgwick still cannot get my case for intermittent leave set up. I call, and I'm told I'm not found in their system--although they send my "no reply" emails saying I haven't completed the forms to prove that I have stage 3 breast cancer--but I can't get them to send the forms in the first place. This after my manager received confirmation that we'd successfully initiated the case. Customer service refuses to let me speak with a supervisor, but only says I'm "calling the wrong Sedgwick" with no alternate number to call. I see why they have a 1 out of 5 star rating.

Sedgwick appears to be an industry leader in brazen incompetence. Prepare to do all your claim processor's work for them and hound them for answers, they will not communicate anything willingly and certainly won't pursue any documentation themselves, preferring to let claims deadlines zip past them before deigning to acknowledge your existence. Great way to rest and recuperate after multiple surgeries! The stress about no pay for weeks at a stretch is also super helpful. If I could leave 0 stars I would. You're better off buying a lottery ticket and consulting a Ouija board for the winning numbers than relying on Sedgwick to handle their business in any competent manner. Utterly useless flaming garbage scow of a company; I'd say I can't wait to watch them go under but we all know it's the white collar criminals calling themselves insurance companies that will outlive us all.

The representative that I had Brenda never return phone calls. Very seldom return emails. I would ask Her for tracking numbers. Because FedEx would just throw my check on the porch out. In the rain in the wind and ruining checks. She never would send me tracking numbers. She was just overall rude. And I hope I never have to deal with this company again.

This place sucks do your self a favor find some place else to work if you employer use this company. They keep denying my claim eventhough I do have severe lower back problems. Plus they keep sending my doctors the same paper work about 4 times saying we don't have enough information. I've sent in paper work from a my primary care doctor, my chiropractor, my physical therapist, oh and I've sent them papers from an orthopedic specialist. They still want more information. Like how much more crap do you need do approve my medical accommodation / medical leave.
