The sales rep of Ecosolutions pest solutions came to my home. Offered me services for $170 for the intial visit and a second visit 6 weeks later. I already had an appointment set up with Terminex. I advised the sales man I didn't want a service contract only the two visits. He had me sign a document so service could be preformed while having me waive my right to back out. The document I signed didn't state what I was agreeing to anywhere. First service was 3/22/24, /second service was 4/25/24. I don't beleive any service was preformed and I was charge an additional $170 I hadn't agreed to. That was when I looked at the email that was sent and discovered that the salesman had set up a 2 year contract that he knew full well that I couldn't afford as I told him I was unemployed. I have since taken photo's of my property to find that not only do I have wasps and nest that they are supposed to treat but other insects as well. I don't believe I owe this business any money as I feel no service was done on 4/25.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: The only reason I signed up for services was for wasp control. Your sales rep lied on more than one occasion about what I was agreeing to. I didn't even get to see the full contract until after it was signed. Your rep made sure I only ever saw the signature box and nothing else. Since I trusted his word that all I was agreeing to was two visits at 170 for wasp treatment I saw no reason to sign. It's good to know that your company likes to take advantage of elderly widows.

This company has door to door sales people who deceive customers. The sales person explained that since they were in the neighborhood they were running promotions to treat peoples homes at a discounted price. They charged $159 + tax one time fee for 4 treatments done quarterly. After doing more research I saw that multiple people were deceived and I looked in my email for contract and saw that it was $159 per treatment not one single charge. I called and texted the company multiple times, they closed my account and canceled account with no fees. (I am still keeping an eye on statements) I asked for a refund since I was mislead by their sales person. After speaking with multiple people they declined. This is not the way to run a business and this should not be allowed. They carry a cell phone telling you to initial to allow them to treat home not that you are signing up for them to charge you multiple times. I saw a sales person trying to sell a service and I believed him. I will never do that again. This business has multiple complaints and they all seem to show a trend of deception. I even saw ******* videos of other customers reporting their situation to news outlets. All I want is for my Credit card to be refunded and never have to deal with them again. I hope that what they sprayed in my home is actually safe.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I am attaching the same texts with clear date and time on top of screen shot 1. The texts are the same ones I submitted twice already. I can't submit a video of your contracted sales people because it's too long but I also have a video of him coming back trying to sell me your service later the next day. Somehow he didn't remember me had to remind him and he offered to reimburse me which of course never did. This has become a headache for me now I will submit the texts you are asking for again but I think that is enough of my time dealing with your company.

A salesman come around neighbor saying for $176.00 for 5 treatments. then after 3 sprays they try charging me the amount for each spray. My neighborhood is not one that can afford 176.00 5 times in one year. I would never have done it. I told them to cancel me and that their salesman lied to me. A salesman from ecoshield pest solutions approached me about pest spraying I made it clear to him that all I needed was flea control, he assured me that would be applied the next day. A company representative showed up the next day, 8/13/23 and sprayed for bugs that did not include fleas. They changed $148.73 for that service which clearly was not what I asked for. They have since refused to either refund the money or apply flea spray.

I have cancelled my services with Eccosheild Pest Control. The company insists on a cancellation fee of $160.50. I paid for the 1st service which occurred on May27, 2023 which cost &160.50. After that service the master bath was infested with antflys for up to 10 days.

We are sorry to hear about the carpenter ant issue you had. Our products work as a flushing agent, so while you did not notice the ant activity previously, the ants were already in your home. As outlined, after the Egg Cycle Service, pest activity levels will continue to decrease as additional regular services are performed. These services will establish and maintain a protective barrier around your home. If you are seeing more than the occasional pest, please call for a free touch-up. While we do not guarantee carpenter ants, our records do show a free touchup service was performed on 5/27/23 as an act of good will to you.
Unfortunately, we wont be able to waive the annual commitment discount payback of $160.50 as you requested to cancel the account prematurely.

We were approached on 6/9/23 about the pest services they offer. After the relentless salesman would not leave without a commitment we were informed that we would be serviced twice a month with a charge of $150 every three months. This seemed reasonable to both myself and my husband. Mind you the salesperson was so relentless that he came back to further his sales pitch when I was not home and quoted the same information to my husband. We were very confused when we woke up to our account being overdrafted $170 on July 10th only a month after our first encounter with them. When trying to cancel the first time I was told by a representative that they were unable to help me because they did not have an available specialist. I called back 10 min later and they magically had someone for me to speak to. After going round and round in circles I was finally allowed to cancel but not without them explaining that they would be charging me back for the "special discount" they gave me (this was never discussed) and a cancellation fee of $160(Also never discussed). Yesterday evening, a sales representative came to our door while my husband and I were out. My ** **** *** daughter was home alone. The representative asked her for a glass of water. When she returned with it, he proceeded to ask her age, tell her she was really pretty and asked for her phone number. He told her he was 21 and that he "doesn't usually do this....". She was smart and did not give him any information and closed the door and locked it. He left a flyer which has this name and number on it - Tim ** ************. The service has been acceptable and provided every quarter as agreed on. However the door to door sales person did not tell me about a cancellation fee. There was only a tablet to sign and I received no paperwork. ******* * ** ****** ** ****** ******** ***** *** prices are increasing for everything, I have to budget where I can make changes. I called to cancel and they said there would be a cancellation fee. I was never informed about this fee and I feel this is wrong. Who ever heard of a cancellation fee for services after being a customer for * years? Since they have my credit card, they will automatically take out the fee.

July 2022 we had a gentleman come to our door and sell us Ecoshield's services. Our first initial treatment was later that evening. The second treatment was to be scheduled 30-45 days after the first treatment was done. It was not done in that time frame. The 2nd time they came out they called it our "quarterly" appointment and the guy showed up almost an hour late, and they did not do all of the services that are in our file from the previous treatment. I kept calling to push back the date of our next treatment, and then finally I called on February 6th 2023 and wanted to completely cancel all of my services. (Had our next quarterly scheduled the same afternoon) which I also wanted to cancel but the woman from customer service would not let me. I tried talking to this woman for almost 15 minutes cancelling and finally said I'll do the service that was scheduled for that afternoon, but I want to cancel the rest. She offered me $** off my service for that day, but then never made note that I wanted to cancel (I know the phone calls are recorded so this can easily be tracked that I asked to cancel numerous times and she *** ********* ***** *** wouldn't let me) The service that afternoon was terrible. I asked for the inside/outside to be done, the guy dribbled a couple drops on my floor (have video proof) and was done inside. Outside I don't even know if he did anything at all, and our backyard is fenced and gates locked, the other two services they guys asked if they could get back there, and I let them back. This guy didn't ask, and continued to reach his arms over the fence and spray (again have video proof)Business Response

Have contacted them late last year. Oct-Dec to complain about the services and to cancel it. My wife who was the name on file. Called. Found a solution to cancel and let it go. Since then, we are continuing to get service though we specifically requested them to stop the service since we felt the work was not getting done and it was piss poor. We tried telling them to stop and they are continuing. We want them to stop coming and that if we have been billed this year. That we will not pay it.Business Response
