1 stari just got remove from pf on boubous charges put c*** in *******, aproaching the homeless and other garbage, this has been going on for a year now, The manager lets the homeless camp out in the changing stalls all night, let the showers on all night, can not fix the t.vs that go out. its a stinking zoo at ************, gym on old fort. the manager is more concerned about the homeless living in the locker room than the membersReview fromGa M

2 starsI am not getting anywhere with my request. I really like Planet Fitness but there is only one piece of equipment for rehabbing. Today , when I went to the gym to use the rehab elliptical machine , the person on it was taking up a whole hour!!! Seriously?More rehab elliptical machines are needed. I have been saying this for ions aka a very long time. I am in *******, ******* ******. This isnt just a problem for myself. I have spoken to many who feel the same way. I wont stop addressing this issue until Planet Fitness spends some money and provides ************* rehab elliptical machine.Review fromJamin M

While the initial conversation went very well and the interviewer was courteous and respectful, the interview was unexpectedly cut short after I disclosed that I have a criminal historyspecifically, charges from over twenty years ago.Despite my transparency and the time that has passed, I was disappointed to learn that Planet Fitnesss hiring policy excludes individuals with a criminal record, regardless of the relevance of the offense to the position or evidence of rehabilitation. This approach, in my view, overlooks the value of redemption and growth, and contradicts the spirit of inclusivity that Planet Fitness *********** someone who has moved forward with dignity and who also supports your business as a loyal, paying member, this experience has raised concerns for me. Many individuals with similar historiespeople who have worked hard to rebuild their livesare among your membership base. We support your organization because we believe in second chances, in self-improvement, and in community.I respectfully urge Planet Fitness to reconsider its hiring practices regarding individuals with criminal records. Many companies have begun evaluating candidates on a case-by-case basis, considering the time elapsed, the nature of the offense, and its relevance to the job role. 1 starThis business is a complete scam.They make it easy to subscribe and impossible to unsubscribe.They take subscriptions online (in fact they require it) and they only allow you to unsubscribe via mail. Why? So they can make it as inconvenient as possible so they can continue to squeeze money out of their customers. Go to any other gym on the **********************. 1 starI cancelled my membership at the ******* location in 2017. I know 2017. It had to have been drafted in many forms because my debit card has been replaced a couple of times. I realized this month that they have been taking out my membership and fees since 2017 with a cancellation in place. Beware because nobody is helping me but staff at the ******* location. They send me to an ABC fitness number for over an hour with communication being a challenge. The Regional Director, ****, left a message and doesn't return my call. I have been defrauded and have all of the evidence from my bank. Good Luck dealing with Planet Fitness. There are much better and ethical choices out there.Review fromSonya E.

1 starI entered into the ******************, ** area in January of 2025. Thereafter, I joined as a member of Planet Fitness. I was told, out of the mouth, I could cancel that membership at any time. After a couple of months, and still unable to find a permanent residence, and with hotel fees going up; I decided to cancel the membership. I did as my contract requested. The letter was taken. The staff member input the cancelation in as I watched. I also received an emailed notification in regard to cancellation, confirming that. This month, I received an email notification that there was a payment due from a merchant, when attempting automatic payment, that was declined. I checked, and Planet Fitness had billed me for my annual membership. I printed off the letter of notice to cancel, and the corresponding email of confirmation from Planet Fitness, and called the local club. The staff member imparted to me I was expected to submit a notice of cancellation within a specific amount of time before payment was due. I did submit the cancellation notice before payment was due. I called back and responded that my contract stated, however, that I could cancel at any time. She instructed me to look at the signed contracted portion. I guess what they had done was to give me a copy of their general contract, upon which it states the ways in which they might amend that contract with notice. However, in very small print, such that I had to use glasses to read, the portion which I had signed did impart a specific time in which I must notify the facility in regard to cancellation. In essence, the staff member signing me up had not been honest about my ability to cancel, and I had, then, no idea I was given a contract that the signed portion, in small print, had already amended. I just really feel this is such bad business practice, I stated to the staff member who she invited me to renew my membership again, if my situation should change, that I would not be renewing with Planet Fitness.Review fromLaura C

1 starUnfortunately, I must bring to your attention a second occurrence of preferential treatment that transpired recently. Upon approaching the reception desk where staff member ***** was engaged with the computer system, I maintained a patient stance awaiting acknowledgment. Despite my visible presence, she neglected to offer any recognition until eventually addressing me with a discourteous directive to refrain from scanning my membership card, citing her current engagement with another task. Her communication was delivered with a discernibly inhospitable demeanor.While I comprehend the operational necessity of assisting members with lost possessions through security footage review, I find the disparity in customer engagement protocols particularly troubling. The concerning aspect was not the wait period itself, which is an understandable aspect of service operations, but rather the conspicuous absence of professional courtesy typically extended to patrons in such scenarios.The situation became increasingly problematic when a Caucasian female patron subsequently approached and inquired about the wait. ***** immediately acknowledged her with a cordial explanation regarding the computer usage limitations due to the ongoing search for a member's misplaced keys. This ***** contrast in interpersonal engagement prompted me to highlight the discrepancy in her customer service approach, whereupon ***** erroneously claimed she had indeed acknowledged me initially but that I had presented myself with an adversarial demeanor.Marie's subsequent suggestion to contact corporate management and her refusal to address my legitimate concerns represent a profound dereliction of customer service responsibilities.The implications of differential treatment based on racial characteristics cannot be overlooked in this context.Review fromRichard T.

1 starPlanet Fitness lagrange, ** On February 12, 2025 I went to this gym and to cancel my grandsons membership (which I pay for) he has not used it in at least 2 years. I was told it was canceled and left. On March 10 I noticed a $39.00 charge for renewal of membership for another year. On March ******* I went to the gym and was told the membership had not been canceled but there was nothing showing I had been there before and I would have to talk to the manager. I went back on March 12, 2025 and was told by the manager they could not refund my money as there was nothing showing I had canceled the membership on February *******.Review fromKelly P

1 starI went to planet fitness @11;00 at night around 4:00am I was told there was a 2 hour limit for a work out and was told this was not a homeless shelter I'm not homeless and was also told the I had 5 minutes to leave or they were going to call the Police and have me arrested for trespassing and Lortering and said we don't allow Transgender woman in there gym let along the woman's bathroom this behavior for the to employees is unexcepibile and should not happen in any business. I will no longer go to any Planet fitness again
