Months ago I had listed my timeshare on this website, after paying a pretty penny for advertisement. I was told that it could take a few months, but it has been more than 6 months at this point. For the amount of money I paid, I expect them to at least answer my phone calls, return my voicemails, or return my emails — nothing. The only time they answer me is to lower my asking price, but nothing else.
For the money I paid, this could have easily been done a while ago or at least they could update me on potential buyers but I feel they aren’t even trying to actively sell it but just put it online and hope someone looks.

On 3/3/2022 my husband and I paid Sell My Timeshare Now 1600 dollars to market and sell our timeshare. My husband is a disabled veteran which makes travel difficult this is why we chose to sell. My husband was told by SMTN agent Anthony C***** that time shares in Maui like ours sell fast quickly and are in high demand. Here we are some months later after lowering the sale price still sitting on it. I have tried calling this company and they say they will call me and I receive no such call. They are a complete scam as many others have stated. SMTN are vultures that pick on what’s left of someone who was already had by the timeshare industry.Business Response

I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: I feel dissatisfied with their service. My husband was told our timeshare was coveted and would sell quickly. He also said he told there was a money back guarantee if it didn’t sell. I have heard from Mary M***** who was told me she would look into the situation and let know what she could do. I let her know I want a refund a full but I haven’t heard back from her since. I let her know we will have to give our timeshare back to the company since we can no longer afford the maintenance fees. My husband is a disabled veteran who I feel was taken advantage of by SMTN. He was promised we would be able to quickly relieve our financial obligation of the timeshare well also making back some of the money we spent on it.

They are saying they lost communication with me however when I last spoke to their representative by the name of Mary M***** she said she would be calling me back by Friday. Well I heard nothing from them. They have my cell phone, my email and also my husbands. Neither of us have received a follow up phone call or email since 12/5/22. I will settle for nothing less than a full refund.

Thee company is a scam. I woukd assume they have somed legitimate sales. But, within 6 months of paying $3,500 and not hearing anything from SMTN, we started receiving liquidation offers of less than $1,000. I asked the broker making the offer if he worked for or was affiliated with SMTN as he said he was indirectly involved with them the second time this happened, the person wouldn't answer if they were affiliated. We aren't seeking to recover a profit. Our timeshares list with ****** for over $40,000 new. We are asking $4,000. By virtue of the up from fee, I would have essentially given SMTN the month to purchase the timeshare from me. I hope you read this before you enter an agreement to avoid losing money because they are not providing us a service, which we paid in advance, to sell our timeshare...run!Business Response

Long story short. We purchased a vacation club for $5,665.00 put $896 down and we were to pay $188.03 for 24 months. Within the 10 days of purchase we called to cancel. They we're suppose to send an email to do so and wanted to charge us another $2,600 cancel. Email never came. Called again. Same run around. You can't even cancel with them. So, I called my credit card company and disputed it. What a nightmare. I hope Noone has to deal with the same bs.Business Response

My husband and I entered into a contract on December 21, 2021 to sell our ******* Resort timeshare. We were told this company had great success in re-selling these types of timeshares and most often had buyers "just waiting to buy them for the right price" because they worked with other companies representing potential purchasers. We were also advised to buy the closing costs package, so we did. Despite being told that this company would diligently with us to find a buyer (which would take average of 6 months), we may as well have flushed our money down the toilet. I believe I would have been better off self-advertising the timeshare on my personal social media accounts. We have received ZERO offers (despite lowering the asking price from what was recommended) and spoke to ZERO company representatives having they made sure they received the required upfront fee. DO NOT FALL FOR IT! We already felt ignorant for purchasing a timeshare 10 years ago (which we have never been able to actually use), and got scammed a second time.Business Response

In a recent attempt to purchase a property at SellMyTimeshareNow.com, I placed a formal offer on a listing at Villa del Palmar Cabo San Lucas of $2,000. The licensed agent that was assigned to me was Mr. Steven P******* (contact information below). He informed me that the closing costs would be $1,623, which would be in addition to the offer amount, for a grand total of $3,623.
I was in contact with the seller and they informed me that Mr. P******* said that my offer was for $1,000. The seller informed Mr. P******* that they wanted $2000. Mr. P******* then returned to me and said the seller countered with $3,500.
The initial offer had a $1,000 discrepancy and the counter offer had a $1,500 discrepancy. I previously confirmed with Mr. P******* that 100% of an offer goes to the seller and all other expenses and fees were included in the closing costs. I asked Mr. P******* where the discrepancy comes from and he has since ceased all communication, after multiple attempts for clarification.
This appears to be a potentially significant fraudulent operation.Business Response

I sending this complaint on the behalf of my elderly mother who is 79years old.
My mother and I reach out to Sebastian F*********, Sell my Timeshare in ref to selling the timeshare, Colonial Crossing in Williamsburg, VA
He requested $500.00 to advertise the listing. We sent him $500.00
He kept promising that he could sell it if we lower it several thousand dollars. He kept trying to get us to lower the price for little of nothing; indicating at least we would get something back. He put us in contact with another person on his staff
Mary M***** and she was stringing us along as well.
My mother received a notice in mail that the property was auction off. She no longer was the owner. The property was sold to Club Vacations Holiday Inn, Williamsburg, VA.
I asked Mary M***** to refund my mother her money since they did not sell the timeshare. I have yet to received my mother's refund.

After email communication with “sell my timeshare now” we made an agreement to sell my timeshare for an agreed price, they required me to send $2500.00 usd to an indivual , which was done. They stated that they would transfer the funds within a month, then the salesperson wanted me to loan him money to pay some fees, this happened numerous times, I refused. I was then told that I would have to pay $3000.00 usd to some law firm that was not mentioned in our agreement or my monies would nor be transferred. I told them that this was not part of our contract and would not pay it. They then claim there is $500.00 late fee, and now they have another $4500 they say i have to pay. I told them to read the contract that we agreed to, and reminded them that these fees were not in our agreement, and that i was only prepared to pay what we agreed to in our written agreement. They admitted that these fees we not in our agreement and that if I just paid them that they would guarantee in writing that they would return my monies. I refused to pay anything that was not in our agreement. I have all the emails as explained in this letter and will scan them and send them if required. Either complete the agreement or return my $2500.00 usd as they have acted immorally and in bad faith, also in breach of our written agreement. On March 30 2022 I decided to call Sellmytimesharenow. I spoke with a friendly person and believed would help me sell my time shear. Spending $2,113.94 he assured me that my time shear will sell with the expertise that “Sell My Time Shear Now” has, but now going into 6 month and with decrease in price by $500.00 as they told me to do so it sells faster. The decrease in price started on June 8 2022, and still nothing!! Nothing at all not even one call or even an offer. It’s disappointing to see how many customers this happened to. Every review I read, I can’t get over how the sweet talking gentleman took my money and made feel disillusion with all he said.
I keep receiving emails concerning adjusting my price again and refresh my AD. I HAVE CALLED TIME AFTER TIME TO RECEIVE SOME ASSISTANCE AND IF ANYONE WOULD ANSWER MY ALL OR WVEN CALL ME BACK, THE ONLY THING I GET IS SOMEONE SAYING, WE NEED TIME!! so for 2,113.94 that’s all I get or ever got.. This is unexcitable for a company advising me that this will sell, but it hasn’t. They even made a comment that due to COVID it seems to be difficult. I am done blaming everything on covid then before my money was taken!! NO comment at all was made to consider COVID.
What did I pay for? I’m at the point of being disappointed and feeling cheating out of my money when all they did is place it on their website “Sell My Time Shear Now”. I’m in dismay to read all these customers that have been with this company longer then I have.
