I bought a rebuild transmission from them through advanced auto in march of 2024, it went bad after 9 months. i contacted moveras and they sent a replacement. i spent more money to remove and install the second transmission and sent in the labor form. now the are trying to not pay the labor or to warranty the second transmission. they say everything is void because i did not replace the transmission cooler but there paperwork gives conflicting messages. one part states my vehicle is large enough to need a cooler replace. another part start i should but does say i have to replace it. another part says it needs to be replaced. i was never told the cooler info before installing the first transmission when i bought it.Business Response

Bought a transmission from M??????. It was defective ,so had to send it back. Expressed it was a work vehicle and needed it, asap.Took months to get replacement. Sent receipt from the auto repair shop, as asked by M?????? for replaced transmission, diag., fluid/filter , to get reimbursed. M?????? sent $150.00 for the transmission swap and $20.00 for fluid. It cost $285 for diagnostic,fluid/filter, for 1st unit, as told to do by M??????. $1250 for the trans swap., and another $94.00 for 7.5 qts fluid. Total $1629.00Business Response

This company is committing Fraud! We purchased a new transmission from Moveras through Auto Zone. When the transmission was installed, the tr fluid levels would not reach the appropriate level. Upon further inspection, it was discovered that a faulty transmission was sent to us. The filter was not installed during the factory manufacturing process as required. Therefore, The transmission had to be replaced with another one. This process has cost us time, money, and parts for something that was not manufactured correctly. We reached out to Moveras who agreed to replace the transmission that had no miles on it. We were told to file a labor claim for a maximum of $300. The removal and installation of the faulty transmission is $1364.02. Moveras told us to contact Auto Zone to get the rest of the install money. That is not true! Auto zone doesn't cover a faulty transmission and labor charges for a Moveras transmission. What business offers transmission replacement with fluids for $300!! ******** company with worse customer service.Business Response

I purchased transmission on about 4/30/24 and installed on or about 7/2/24. I contacted movers because of an issue with the torque converter about 10/10/24 and over the next several days did what they told and it did not resolve the issue. They sent an email 10/17/24 stating I would receive a replacement in 7-14 days at autozone in ******* ok. The email stated I needed to replace the transmission cooler and lines which was done when we installed the new transmission. I have attempted to contact movers by phone leaving a callback number multiple times and have not received a callback. As of 11/5 autozone had not received the transmission replacement. At this point I want a refund so I can go somewhere else I do not wish to return the transmission because I will have to have a core. I do not wish to continue with movers because they are not taking my calls and I fear if I have further issues they will not get resolved. I need this vehicle and have not beeb able to drive it since the issue was noticed in september.Business Response

This place is a joke! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! We purchased a remanned transmission through Autozone and the first one was delivered with a cracked case. The second one was delivered to us and we installed it. It wouldnt go into overdrive right out of the box. We filed a labor claim and they sent us another transmission and we installed that one. They reimbursed us $285.00 for removing their faulty transmission and installing another one. This included the fluids. Unreal! Then this one failed after ****** miles. Once again we were sent a replacement through Autozone and installed it. Released the vehicle to the customer and sent all warranty claims through ********. ******** then told us to go through Moveras direct. So after all kinds of paperwork and such we got the claim filed. They then informed us it was past 60 days and we were denied any reimbursement. This company needs to be held responsible for what they do to the consumers.Business Response

This company is committing daylight robber. The collusion that they have with Advanced Auto Parts is despicable. I received a defective transmission from them and upon filling a labor reimbursement form they only agreed to pay a maximum of $300. What business offers a transmission and cooler replacement with fluids for $300. That is according to some agreement they have with Advanced Auto Part. I will never buy from Advanced Auto Parts ever again. Both companies deserve to be marked for providing horrible products and services.Business Response

This is the second attempt at filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on this company. We have yet to get any resolution/resolvement from this problem! This company needs to be shut down for fraudulent actions and deceptionthey are lying to consumers and doing everything they can not to reimburse rebates owed. The response they gave to BBB last time was that we gave them an incorrect addressthis was not true!! This was something that had been mentioned briefly in one of many emails with this company, but there are plenty of emails indicating that it was the correct address they supposedly mailed the check too that we never got! It wasnt until our first complaint with BBB that they claimed to have mailed out another check.that was a lie! As of today, no $150 check. This company has no good reviews on the website if you have any referenced to it at all, which goes to show you the cannot be trusted. We did not know this going into it from the beginning when we purchased the part for the truck and where we could get a rebate for that purchase. We have numerous emails dating all the way back to April when it all started that shows weve been diligently trying to get them to send us what were owed. This is absolutely ridiculous! When we submitted another email to them requesting the remainder $75 they then said it should have been a $80 check and not a $75 check?! What the heck! Again this is ridiculous! We deposited the $75 today since its taken since April to get anything from them, but we want the remainder $75 were owed. The customer submitted a claim in the amount of $150. The claim was approved for $80. Below is what has transpired since the original claim was submitted.
The first check was written July 8, however, the address that we were given was incorrect. The replacement check#***** was written on 8/9 and mailed on 8/14 for $75. That check was cashed on 8/20. Yesterday **************** requested an additional check for $5 because we accidently short paid the claim by $5. Apparently, our refund was incorrect. Check #***** was mailed yesterday.
We will be sending an additional $70 today simply to resolve this issue and satisfy the customer. We apologize for the confusion

I accept the response this business is now saying; however, I want to make myself clear for the 6th timethe address was never incorrect after all. Initially in an email through correspondence with them we thought that the check was mailed to the wrong address, but it was clearly confirmed within minutes that it was the correct address and this was stated in emails several times. We just think this was the companys excuse not to pay period. They ran with that one brief piece of information that was corrected in minutes and never let go of it. In the past 14 days we haven't received two transmissions from this company. The first transmission was for a 2014 Chevrolet 5.3. The transmission was installed per the instructions provided. Along with a new transmission cooler. This transmission was not properly remanufactured and suffered from shutter and slippage. The second transmission was for a 99 Dodge ram 1500 gas. The torque converter was not manufactured properly. Three of the bolt holes were in the proper position. The the fourth was completely off. It appears someone in the welding department did not check the measurements are used the proper jig. Needless to say this cost our shop an entire day of work twice. This company will not answer the phone. After leaving multiple messages you do not receive a call back. I highly suggest avoiding this company You will be left paying $3,000 for a transmission that is in the same condition as the one you took out. Now I have two upset customers that are asking for refunds. We are a small shop and this has hurt us financially. I am here to spread the word so other small shops are not suffer the way we have.Business Response

So this all started in October of 2023. I ordered a transmission through my mechanic, took a few weeks to get it & get it put in. By Thanksgiving it was pouring transmission fluid & the yoke was damaged. Replaced again. Got it back around Christmas, drove it until February 24, 2024 & it was pouring transmission fluids again. Replaced again. Got my vehicle back in March & drove it for 3 weeks until the transmission locked up. I had been waiting for over a month to get the replacement transmission in. Come to find out the transmission was sent to the store without any customer information & had been sitting there for 2 weeks before I finally figured out where it was. So now I have been through the claims department, customer service & shipping department without one person getting things right. I have asked for someone higher up, emailed & called without anyone calling back. There are now more ************ need it taken care of this week. The yoke has been damaged again & we havent even been able to get someone to call back about getting parts sent out. I am looking for a good lawyer to help me out with this situation & the $6K I am now out of pocket for a POS transmission, 3 times, as well as the labor I have had to pay since Moveras will not pay for replacement labor.Business Response
