1 starIf I could give a zero I do that! Very disappointed. Booked room with two double beds and a couch and did not revive room. Had to wait on line twice for an 1.5 hours each time only to have nothing resolved! Will never ever waste.my time and $ again. Would never recommend nor stay in this hotel/ casino ever again. 1 star************** We booked a stay weekend of Aug 18 -21 to celebrate our anniversary and Tropicana Casino & Hotel was the worst experience ever. Lets start by saying that the Hotel was filthy and smelled bad. Next we get a room on South Tower on 9th floor and I always check mattress to make sure there is no bed bugs. The mattress had a bed bug cover but when I raise the skirt on the bottom of bed there was bed bugs crawling all over. I immediately vacate the room and go downstairs to reception. When I ask for a manager one of the bell boys asked why and I indicated that I took a video of bed bugs in the room he looked not surprised and his face confirmed like if he heard this before this today. I spoke to manager requesting my full **************** gave me zero balance due receipt and I called Hotels.com to make sure they will refund me in full. Hotelscom called manager to confirm bed bug situation and approved to reimburse us. We travel alot yearly and NEVER experienced such a filthy, smelly and least of all bed bugs on any given trip. This year we went to Vegas and *********** and had no problems. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DONT BOOK AT TROPICANA!Review fromMellie C

1 starMy husband and I stayed at the Havana Tower of the Tropicana to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel room had several issues and needed maintenance to come for repairs. The ** was not working, the main ceiling light at the room entrance was not working, the safe was also not working. In addition, the shower tiles were moldy and the sealing strip of the sliding shower door was falling apart. At the casino floor, after the recent remodeling/rearrangement of the sections, we felt that cigarette smoke was everywhere! The smoking sections seemed to now be more than before, and were placed in a way that no area was left free of cigarette smoke despite of the "no smoking" signs! What was more upsetting to us was that according to the rewards kiosk on the casino floor, we qualified for a $20 free parking voucher. However, the kiosk did not print the voucher (run out of tape perhaps, wink, wink) so we had no way of using the rewards voucher! The casino floor attendant sent us to the Cashiers to inquire since the customer service desk had no human attendants but instead, had more kiosks. The cashier told us that this is a frequent customer complaint and they could do nothing about it! She recommended that we asked the parking attendant on our way out, if he would waive the parking fee given this situation. We did, but he insisted on getting the $20. Imagine doing this for thousands of customers daily who qualify for rewards! Not printing them their vouchers! Not a customer friendly action at all! By the way, when we tried using another rewards kiosk, it said that we had already received our voucher!! Tropicana, this is no way to treat your customers for 30 years!Review fromKasha T.

1 starStaying at ************* in ************* was the worst experience of my life! *The valet parking garage smelled like vomit-many guests were complaining of the smell-I had to wear a mask to block the smell while we unloaded our car. *Check-In took around 2 hours-there is no seating for elderly/handicapped guests.*We reserved 2 rooms in the South Tower 6 months prior to arrival- They proceeded to tell us that they only had 1 available room in the South Tower and we had to split up. We paid for the 2 rooms to be in the same tower due to disability assistance. We asked to speak with the manager and was given a second room in the South Tower (when we were told there were no rooms left)*The front desk was very rude and gave my Mother a broken wheelchair that wasn't supposed to be rented out per Mobility on Wheels request.*The building is simply outdated and is not ADA ******************** elevators shake-the wall panel is about to fall off *The carpets are dirty and old. Paint peeling off the walls.*Our hotel carpet was wet and the room felt damp.*Our bathroom wasn't clean. I found a bunch of hair strands in the shower and toilet.*Our fridge was broken. It was cld at first and then was warm. Our food went bad. We requested another fridge and they left it plugged in on the floor.*Our hair dryer didn't work. We had to request a new one.*Our room didn't have a remote control.*Requested to have the room cleaned and nobody came.*We were told the family pool was only opened Friday-Tuesday. This was a lie and it was opened every day.Please do not spend your money here. They do not care about their guests and you will be disappointed!Review fromAriea C

1 starJust recently stayed here with my husband and 2 boys as it was a vacation/ wedding anniversary celebration. I was so surprised to see how our room looked. It was not kept up at all. The hallways were the elevator was were dirty with trash everywhere. The room looked like a room from a motel. All the money and fees we paid. Hundreds of dollars wasted. The rooms should have been better. We froze because house keeping refused to give us the blankets we needed. I called 3 times. I was so over it. I didn't get to go to the pool because I knew if the rooms were dirty the pool was too. I explained to the staff that the weekend would be special and they said they would accommodate me. All I asked was for a decent and clean room. I really couldn't believe a business as nice as this would have nasty looking rooms. The walls were dirty. Over the head board of beds were dusty and dirty. Dents were in certain parts of the wall. Table looked like it went through something. We will not be returning back. They need new management and house keeping staff. My anniversary weekend a waste. We were suppose to have fun and relax. The relaxing part was a bust because the room wasn't right. All we wanted to do was sleep and get out. I wasted money. Never again.Review fromronald e

1 starwe visited the tropicana ac from july **** 2023, we had no housekeeping for 4 days 4 calls to housekeeping no answer 3 calls to front desk no answer with one call on hold for 24 minutes our bathroom floor flooded and we had to use our only towels to clean it up.also had an issue at a slot machine wher i was bumped from in front of a machine and no security in sight, so beware of the tropicanaReview fromMichael V

1 starWILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN!Ive been a frequent customer and promoter for this ********************** for many years, and no longer will I be after this debacle!Marijuana smoke/stench woke us up in our NON-SMOKING room at 1am. Their manager, *******, refused to resolve the issue or produce a sensical solution:1. there were no other non-smoking rooms available - there are other towers that probably had available rooms in a hotel that large!,2. offered housekeeping to spray the room to remove the smell - I guess chemicals will keep the smoke out and would be better to breathe in than marijuana smoke?,3. would send security to search for the culprit(s) and ask them to stop - bang on peoples doors at 1am thinking theyll stop smoking? How much/how long were they smoking already for it to smell like they were standing in my room??? They wouldnt comply!,4. made no attempt to search for accommodations in another ********************* hotel - a simple phone call would have worked!5. refused to issue a refund because I was already there since 5pm. - I told ******* the odor/smoke wasnt there since 5pm and we didnt stay in the room since that time of arrival. It woke us up at 1am when it increased during the night!We werent going to continue breathing second-hand smoke in that room the rest of the night! We had no other option but to take the 2.5 hour drive home.Horrible customer service!False room advertisement!Most disgusting and disappointing experience ever!I will be leaving similar negative reviews on multiple social media and websites.The state that this hotel has deteriorated to is unacceptable. 1 starI booked 3 rooms on my Credit Card thru Booking.com. I had my confirmation with the 3 guests names. The check in was disastrous. They tried to make one of my guests pay for the room twice. They finally accommodated 2 out of the 3 guests. The 3rd guest they claim they did not see that reservation. Despite the fact that I showed them my confirmation letter with the guests name on it. They told me to contact Booking.com. I did so right there from the front desk. Between the both of them they still could not get me straight. Tropicana told me they could give my guest a room if we paid for another room. So we would be paying twice for the same room The supervisor was absolutely NO help. She would not talk with Booking.com to straighten the matter out! She just walked away! Both Booking.com and Tropicana were going back and forth trying blame the other. And each one of them saying it's the other one's responsibility for refunding my money. For the room that I already paid for. They need to fire folks at Tropicana from the top down! After 3 or 4 hours of standing at the front desk and them not giving us a room that I paid for. I had to take the guess to another hotel and pay for another room. All I want is my money refunded with no penalties. I will dispute the charge with my ******************** If Tropicana does not satisfy this situation in a timely manner I will be contacting my attorney. This situation was a disgrace. For them to do this to Senior citizens. I will never visit Tropicana again! And I am telling everybody that I know not to visit and or stay there either! SMH!Review fromKelly G

1 starHorrific! Stayed in the West Tower - non smoking floor.. room was filthy .. carpet dirty. looked like it had not been updated since 1980..shower did not drain. Smoke pouring in through the bathroom vent. Called to complain. was told I had to go to the front desk for assistance. Twenty people in line checking in with one person on duty. Finally spoke with front desk .. asked for another room .. shared that they were sold out..but pushed a bit and received a new room at $33.00 more a night. I originally booked through a third party (block of rooms for tournament) but they charged me double the price when gave me a new room. Would not adjust based on the email I had setting forth the cost. I had no choice but to sign. Would not provide me with paper copy. New room better but still smelled like smoke. When did it become legal to smoke inside wherever one pleases? That is what occurs throughout the hotel. It is obvious that the ventilation system is outdated and out of compliance. This hotel should be forced to shutdown. This was not only my experience but everyone that I traveled with. I now have to fight to get half my money back!Review fromBeverly P

2 starsI went on a Friday night in May 2023 this was a birthday gift and the man at check out was very rude did not explain why I was being charged when room was paid for he charged me 89 dollars and I got all but $ ***** back he never printed anything out for me or nothing he made me feel very uncomfortable and stupid like I should know why I was being charged it was very crowded so I gave him my card and figured I would get the whole thing back which I did not, I will not return to Tropicana because of this when working with public you should be pleasant also Ice machine on 30th floor didnt work!
