      Purchased a 'Choice Home Warranty' last December of 2021. The salesman assured me of all the covered item in the plan I purchased would be repaired or replaced and my sole responsibility was a $60.00 deductible per occurrence. This month, July 2022 I called CHOICE to file a claim about my Central AC which was not operating properly and it took two week before I was assigned a repair facility. The Technician found the condenser to be faulty and advised CHOICE that the evaporator should also be replace due to compatibility issues such as Freon, oils, etc. I was advised on 7/28/22 by CHOICE that I must pay $1536.00 plus the $60.00 deductible because CHOICE was not paying for the Evaporator and labor. I requested they supply the condenser part and was denied. I then ask for a full refund of the $500.00 plus I paid for the Warranty and was told quite rudely by some person in the retention department CHOICE does not refund ANYTHING and then terminated the call.This is deceptive business practice and upon researching I found the state of ******* has sued CHOICE as well as actions taken against CHOICE by the ********** AG/Consumer affairs division for deceptive business practices yet CHOICE refuses to repair my AC unless I pay CHOICE in excess of $1500.00 WHAT A SCAM!

      This is how they screwed me , on air condition repairs , I never went through with this ripoff .CHW Posted a message on your claim:The technician has been authorized to complete the repair, which includes part(s).       This company socks, we've been paying for monthly service and trying to get our dishwasher fix for months. They have been giving us the run around with different technicians with no end result in sight for over 3 months. Bad *************

      STAY AWAY! It's a racket. They waste your time until you get frustrated and pay for it yourself. Two months no air and they still ordering the part. No confirmation number, no order number and no estimate of arrival. I order stuff all the time. How can you not know this information? Bottomline...save your self and stay away!

      I waited over a week to have a technician to come out to diagnosis the issue; only to learn a week days later that the service technician could not do the job. I learned this only after I contacted the claims department. It took another week to get another technician appointment. The day of the appointment the new Technician assigned gave me a courtesy call. He called to tell me he was new to this company and after his first ever Choice Home Warranty service call earlier in the day he would no longer do work for this company.Being in a desperate situation; I asked if he could come out any way and take a look at my issue. I would hire him under his business name. I am new customer with ********************** with more than one policy. The technician came out fixed the simple issue for a very reasonable fee. I immediately called the Claims specialist and told them my story and asked if I could be reimbursement. I was deigned reimbursement as I did not get approval before having the work done. I then cancelled both policies. Mass Buyer beware!

      This is the WORST WARRANTY COMPANY EVER. My AC claim has been with them for over 3 weeks now. They don't have reliable companies or services people. They just take your money and give you the run around. The departments don't talk to each others. The case managers are the worst ever. They have no knowledge of the systems they talk about at all. The company needs to be Shut down.

      DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CHOICE HOME WARRANTY!!I recently renewed my warranty with Choice Home Warranty for 1 year....they charged me twice! I called them to have the error corrected and they told me that they would refund 'my' policy all but $50 because there is a Cancelation Fee of $50. I told them that it's their fault so I shouldn't be charged that fee. I asked to speak to a Supervisor and was told no.

      I purchased a 5year warranty service contract with from Choice Home warranty to cover all systems in the house. The ** (HV**) not functioning, after putting a service call the company changed three contractors and finally determined that the ** failure was due to failed thermal expansion valve that resulted in compressor failure, therefore they are not covering it.I got an appointment to talk to a claims manager three later. I explained him that the HV** company that installed the **s for this house told that compressor failure usually lead to thermal expansion valve failure, and I actually found the same information on ******* His response was that even if it true we do not cover the repair because the compressor failed too early in its life, therefore it is catastrophic failure. While talking to him he said that "I listed to you enough, it is not covered'". When i asked him that i would like to talk to someone above his level he responded that he is final authority and cannot connect me to anyone above him. Previously also, they denied coverage if the expense is above $200-250. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

      They say they pay out they dont. They dont vent their technicians. You cant speak to them in timely manner. Their case managers are rude. They took 3 months to payout for refrigerator. Which wasnt enough to even get the cheapest one on marker. Their tech messed up ac unit broke it and 6 months later I had to buy a whole new unit. NEVER BUY A WARRANTY FROM THEM

      I would like to join the hundreds of people before me and say that this is the wrong company to go with. Please stay far away from this company. I can give a piece of advice to the next person reading this, I have research all in DFW area and I have not found one that is good. All will avoid paying when it time to pay.
