      This has been going on since May. 1st problem, CS people who know and understand the English language )Im not a *****)2. 880 or ANY NUMBER With this *** that allows you to speak with above person in under 30mins 3rd, guarantee a supervisor return phone call in under 24hrstoday was the first time out of way too many phone calls since 5/22.The guy today; who said they needed 24 to 48 more hours UNDER REVIEW. IT BEEN SINCE May **** phone call last week, she guaranteed all claims would be settled and I would not owe any more service fee. I paid the guy in May and he promised me as soon as he heard fro Choice, he would call me. I guess he still has not heard because no return call. Also, the one of 2 jobs he got done was done wrong. The pipes leak. Have not used dishwasher since his visit in May. This is what is STILL under review. The additional 24 to 48 hours. Today I told the guy Ive been paying faithfully since I signed up; but I wanted to cancel. His response was a threat. You cancel and nothing will be done with the dishwasher. I believe that is a threat he says no its not. The amount of time Ive spent trying to reach a human. Let alone talking to these people has been well over 10hours (probably more) just a rough guess over what I went through today. I paid ANOTHER SERVICE FEE today. The plumber had no work order for the dishwasher. And get this the tub is not covered. So for showing up. When these problems, were explained EVERY Call to have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING DONE. AND GETTING A SHOW UP FEE. REALLYstar rating. Minus 10..

      CHW sent Technician (******** Heating/Air) to our home on 7/12/2022. The **** Tech did not diagnose the problem correctly. Air conditioning still not working. Temp /88degrees in home and 100+ degrees for several days straight. Called CHW back on 7/13 to inform that air still not working, they stated someone would call or come back to house. No one called nor came. On 7/22/2022 we had to get our unit repaired to the tune of $800+. We submitted the invoice with an explanation of what happened and why we had to get the unit repaired. CHW notified us the following day that the invoice would not be covered because per policy we did not wait for 'the next step.' This issue was turned over by our request to a case manager- who set up a 15 minute phone call for one week out. On today, that phone call happened and ****************** simply stated that we would not be reimbursed and we should have just kept waiting and basically she made this appt/phone call because it is her job- BUT never the less, 'the policy is the policy' and we should have not made the repairs without their approval.

      Started a claim on 5/9/22 for refrigerator AND 13 CLAIMS LATER, as of 8/1/22 no repair or replacement. Was told I cannot cancel, but a free month added to policy!! I bought a new refrigerator because the tech said it could not be repaired and Choice Home Warranty said they do NOT REPLACE APPLIANCES!What is it for then? Making the owner a billionaire! I am sending a "Certified Letter", but it will be tossed in trash.IF YOU ARE READING REVIEWS, TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. THIS COMPANY IS A CON AND YOU WILL GET THE RUN-A-ROUND WITH A C.S. AGENT ACROSS THE OCEAN WHO DOES NOT CARE WHAT YOU HAVE BROKEN OR IN NEED OF REPAIR.

      I wouldn't have given them 1 star if no starts was an option. They are horrible company they dont pay claims quickly. When they say replacement they offer you a fraction of what it costs to replace. Often it takes over 48 hours for the job to be assigned. then depending on how bust the contractor is several days for them to come out Then quite often its rejected by CHW.

      Choice Home Warranty PAYS TO HAVE ALL NEGATIVE REVIEWS SCRUBBED AND FOR FALSE POSITIVE REVIEWS. !They are dishonest and do not abide by their contract. We had a compressor go out on our A/C, which caused us to purchase a new A/C unit. This cost fell over the $3,000 policy limit; however, they would not pay a dime stating the problem was an ongoing issue. That is not the case! It all of a sudden stopped working with no warning! It was aver 10 years old, but according to the terms of the UserAgreement, " AIR CONDITIONING/HEATING/DUCTWORK COVERED: All components and parts of the following systems: ducted, central, electric, split and package units, forced air (gas, electric, oil), geothermal, wall-mounted units, mini-splits, heat pumps, floor furnace, hot water or steam circulating heat, and electric baseboard. Ducts (unless collapsed or clogged) from unit to point of attachment at registers or grills. If replacing, only the failed components and parts will be upgraded to meet government mandated guidelines.EXCLUDED: Outside or underground piping. Well pump, and well pump components for geothermal and/or water source heat pumps. Window units. Water towers. Chillers and water lines. Refrigerant line sets. Portable units. Fuel storage tanks. Chimneys. Pellet stoves. Cable heat. Wood stoves (even if only source of heating). Insulation. Collapsed/clogged ductwork. Damper motors. Service valves. Labor, refrigerant, and other costs related to failure of components that are covered under manufacturers warranty. Legally mandated diagnostic testing when replacing heating or cooling equipment. We will not pay for any modifications necessitated by the repair of existing equipment or the installation of new equipment including, but not limited to, the required Replacement of air handlers when Replacing condensers, and condensers when Replacing air handlers." We cancelled the policy as we were only about 6 weeks in when this happened, and got most of our money back.

      WOW, i never knew these people were this bad. My AC went out in November of last year. My story is much like the rest. I will nit remain silent over this. I hope those before me and unfortunate those after me will not remain silent. You must tell everyone you can. To hurt them in e pocketbook id the only thing that will wake them up and see they offer a service that we pay for and their not providing.Without customers you people have nothing. To me that is in breach of contract. In the very least should have to give all the money back you and I have paid them and fix our broken things.I hope BBB CAN HELP US ALL! If you came on here to see if you want to use them don't do it. I have never made a bad review before. I have always tried to fix it myself as to thin some days thing or off for everyone. You cant work with this company. I hate to say this but their dishonest in the things they say. Maybe try American Home shield. Idk there reviews I just know were good to me and my daughter.thanks for taking the time to read. good luck to everyone. Don't be silent till they do something.

      I sincerely regret ever calling Choice (CHW)! I wish that I had come to this site first! Instead, I ******d the top home warranty companies. And what do you know, Choice came up as number 1! HA! Thats a joke! What Ive learned is that Choice pays for this ranking. Now I know better not to believe these ****** ratings! Anyway, my air conditioning went out on April 22, 2022, so I called CHW to schedule service. They scheduled the technician to come out on April 26, 2022. Over the weekend, my A/C kicked back on, but I kept the appointment to have the tech let me know what the issue was. He and his crew came out and did something to my system because it was not working anymore when they left. He told me that I needed a new unit and that Choice would contact me to schedule it. I had to pay $893.75 for a compressor and was told I would have to pay the tech $1,050 for the installation. I got the run around so many times. While making my usual call to CHW, I was told to start a new claim because I guess this one had gone on past the time allotted for a complaint. So, a new ticket was opened on 7.07.2022, and another nightmare began with this guy. He didnt show up at his scheduled time because CHW scheduled it for a Saturday, and he doesnt work on the weekend. When he finally came out, he complained about everything. I dont think he wanted to do anything because he tried to get me to pay him $5000+ for a new unit. Instead of allowing this tech to go on as long as I foolishly did with the first incompetent tech, I requested a new and professional tech. This one was much more professional and very thorough. HOWEVER, Im still waiting for the case manager to call me back as I was promised. I requested my money back for the compressor so that I can have someone take care of my system. Also, the representative told me that the first tech, Southern Tech, who showed up at my home, was given the $893.75 that I paid to them back in May! Southern Tech swears CHW never paid him,

      This company is a scam. They are F Rated and they have F rated businesses representing them. They sent an incompetent AC Company *********************** & Appliance to repair an AC unit. The unit has been out of service for approximately 1 month now. *******,********* in the summer and 1 month without AC for a service you pay for. And they have ************************** Horrible. There has to be something that can be done to this company. I will be reaching out to others about this. Had to give a star. Really a negative 0 Rating.

      This company is a scam. They do not take care of things in a timely manner, then say they won't pay if you take care of it yourself. My refrigerator died and I will not get a new one for 6 weeks (luckily I have another one). It took the servicemen over a month to make the diagnosis, now it will be at least 2 weeks before I get my gift card to replace it, and that was after arguing with the person on the phone, who said it would take a month!, and who would not let me talk to a supervisor. This is how they do business. The last claim I made, had to be taken care of quickly, and since they did not respond in a timely manner, I paid someone to do it. After many calls to speak with a manager, they finally sent me a check, which took 6 weeks, but it didn't cover even 25% of the repair. Very disappointed in the service here. My guess is most people will not take the time to get what they deserve, and have paid for. They don't even deserve one star, but I had to leave one to leave my review!

      They denied my claim even though the breakdown was on the contract. Now I get to sit in the heat all weekend while they play with the appeal rather than doing the right thing. Choice has zero credibility with me.
