My husband bought the wallet from the Burlington on power road and baseline road in mesa Arizona 85206. And it is falling apart already and he just bought it. He spent $25.00 dollars on the wallet. We lost the receipt. We are a disabled couple. We have health issues

This complaint is actually for the Columbia Heights DC location, but it didn't come up. I was just there this past Sunday, getting last minute things for vacation. My experience here was horrible. First of all, upon entering the store the have a rope that they have to unfasten to let you in. I found this to be highly inappropriate and very unethical. It doesn't stop there, they have guards aggressively standing around and following people. There was just an SPO, in that same shopping center that assaulted a young man and the video footage is going around. This is not the way to go about theft prevention if that's what you're trying to do, this only results will be you guys getting lawsuits. The workers are nasty, act like they don't want to assist. Always went to Burlington at ********, ** and never had any issues bringing my service dog but this night April 12th at 9pm one of your security guards started getting very hostile against my father regarding my service dog which he is lawfully able to enter but your security guard started a yelling match with my father and never had that happen before. His description is hes Caucasian, fat, old looking and wore black pants and black jacket. Im asking for him to be fired as that is not how you treat clients who want to spend money. He also violated the law for service dogs and I want him fired and an apology from the store. Also to train your employees with customer service skills and to respect customers as they pay your company as well as never having this issue again.Initial Complaint

I ***** ***** writes to inform you about an incident that happened on Monday February 24th,2025 at 11:46am at the already said address. I was humiliated at the store and the reason being is that I asked if I could take a look at a watch on display that I was thinking about purchasing to make certain that it would fit me properly before I finally buy it and the cashier said I yielded at her which was a false accusation so wanted you to be aware about this. I am a frequent customer because I love to look for deals.
The supervisor or the manager called the police on me without having to hear my side of the story and when I asked him to review the camera so we could all confirm the truth, he refused. I was embarrassed in front of the customers because they refused to sell the items that I took in my cart and the police told me they are going to arrest me for trespassing anytime I come to the again. I ***** *****, treats everyone with respect from shop attendants to supervisor/manager. I feel like I have been racially profiled and I am emotionally distressed because of the way I was treated. It should be okay to come to the store to buy something without any form of harassment or embarrassments. I personally wrote a letter or a copy of this complaints to the corporate office and till now I have still not received any response from them so I have decided to contact you or file it with you.

I wanted to report this workplace for the harassment I began receiving while working for Burlington Coat Factory in **********, **. I can not tolerate working in an environment like this. It is MENTALLY exhausting. I want to report **** ****** a Supervisor and Dakota an Employee. On Sunday, March 23, 2025. This was the second time **** asked me to help him Cashier and my Job role is a Shortage Control Associate. While I was at the register **** would talk a lot and continued to talk a lot. He was not having a conversation with me. He talking out loud to himself so that I can hear him. He does this a lot but does not engage in a conversation. They do this to distract me from my work, try to pick my brain, and to mentally exhaust me. Then later that night at 11pm Dakota and **** both were talking while Dakota was helping a Customer at the register. The Customer purchased a cart of items (around $300) and this Customer was listening to what they were saying. **** and Dakota were talking about someone and they made it seem like they were referring to me. Dakota and **** were laughing while talking about this person and the Customer who bought a cart full of items was showing a lot of interest in what they were talking about. Both do not know me. They made it seem like they wanted this Customer to overhear/hear what they were talking about. Then the next day two men followed me to my Apartment where I live and they were standing outside of my Apartment talking and harassing me and threatening me. I got an interview invite but as soon as I selected it, it said that it's already booked. It seems off to me and offensive, because if they're just going to reschedule why send the first invite. I can in there spent 305.24 first door greeter rude told me I can't take cart out store there out of bags and at last minute offered a purple Leopard bag isnt leopard short for taking a LEAP? The manager came out this big white guy screaming at me fire lighting the situation and they called to fire trucks and ambulance tostand outside in a line as he was verbally accosting me. See I took bus there this was a attack on me. How dare I be shocked they didn't offer a bag before the stuff carried half outside!!!!!! I was leopard bag purposely what's that saying a leopard don't change it's spots? It was deliberately offered that!!!!! I put a hundred dollars stuff back cause I couldn't carry it all by hand out the door!!!!! That man told me never to come back again cause he the manager didn't have enough sense to order bags! He was never seen whole time I was in store 4 hrs till he was ever even seen and verbally accosted me!!!!!!! He wasn't at register as they had no bags! He was nasty and sloppy dressed for a department store between me & you! How was I suppose to get 300 dollars out the door of merchandise with no bag and told can't take cart out door. What I have to be disgraced with a leopard bag? Ain't a leopard a cat slang for pus**? People are down right NASTY!

I sent my wife a gift card electronically for Burlington Coat Factory. On February 23, 2025 at 6:07 pm my wife was at check out. She informed the cashier that she would like to pick up a layaway I had placed for our son. Cashier called for layaway and the box made it's way to the cashier. At time of check out cashier was informed by my wife that she would be paying the balance with a Burlington gift card. Cashier began to scan gift card twice and informed my wife that the drawer was taking gift card. I was on phone with wife when another informed cashier that wife couldn't pay layaway off with gift card. I informed wife to have cashier to refund layaway cash and turn around and buy layaway with gift card. Cashier refund cash and rong up items. Cashier told wife the total was 141.00 and some change. Wife let cashier scan first gift card with a total of 100.00. The cashier replied to my wife saying her balance where 41.00 and some change. So then wife allowed cashier to scan next gift card which was a total of 50.00 dollars. The drawer didn't not receive the 50.00 gift card once it was scan. The cashier then went to ask customer service supervisor by the name of Larissa for help. Larissa never left her drawer to help cashier with problem. Next cashier ask the resciving supervisor Hannah for help. Hannah contuine to hang up coat hangers and never helped cashier. Cashier show fear because she didn't know how to check wife out and replied to wife she never done the check out before. Another cashier then walked and began talking and a different language to her and shortly after cashier voild transaction. Wife had deleted 100.00 gift card. After an hour being on hold with gift card customer service wife and, I was able to get gift card back. We then went back to store and, I came in with recording video on cause I'm black and I was afraid that it would be said I was hot style and threatening. On February 21, 2025 I visited this Burlington location to do some shopping. While at the store my 4 year old child and I needed to use the restroom. We were advised by the security at the location that bathrooms are not for the public. Even after explaining my child needed to use the restroom urgently he explained it is for store employees only. I had to go to a different store to use the restroom. This is illegal in the State of ********** as this store is a large retail store.Initial Complaint

I went to this & decided to buy a pack of pillows, bought them, there where around 40 dollars but seemed like good pillows, took them home put them on my bed, now after sleeping with the pillows on night 1 I woke up with bumps on my skin, didn’t think anything of it, went a full week with bites showing up daily, decided to get rid of the pillows, bit the damages are still affecting me, found a single live bed bug on my bed during this time which I believe came from these pillows, reached out to both store and customer service to assist in this issue,I would like the business to refund the amount I paid for the pillows since I am unable to use them and because of this issue I will have to get rid of my mattress , which I paid 600 for, but im open not a resolution! & any assistance on getting a new mattress!
