In May of 2022, Fed Ex Ground Truck crashed into our church Portico. He left the scene without reporting the damages. Fortunately, we caught the incident on video. We reported the issue to Fed Ex who referred us to ARC Claims.I submitted video footage from multiple angles, along with photos. *** contacted me and had me go through this process again. No response after. I contacted them again, and I had to resubmit all files, videos, and photos. At several points, the agents were rude, belittling, and hung up on me.Finally, after contacting ARC multiple times, they asked for an appraisal of damages. I submitted them. Then, they asked for them again.Next, they set up their own appraisal. The appraiser said I would have his response the next day. No response the next day. I called. No response. I had to contact ARC. They would get back to me. Then, I receive a phone call stating everything was approved and I would get a check within the week. It is now four or five weeks later and no check. And it is October 10, nearly five months after Fed Ex damaged our property. This is a horrendous and dishonest service.Business Response

On July 24, an Amazon driver backed out of our driveway and damaged a retaining wall. We filed a claim with ARC Claims per Amazon's instructions and after exchanging several emails, we have provided them with all the information necessary for them to approve and pay for the damage. We have sent them an estimate (their email request below) 3 times as has the contractor. *** continues to stall by not responding to either us or the landscape contractor. ARC claims agent ***************************. On 9/16/22 an Amazon delivery vehicle hit and damaged my mothers shed. The accident caused damage to the delivery vehicle and pieces of the vehicle were left at the accident site. Agent ******** claim AMZ2022183391 refuses to confirm damage to the delivery vehicle. The driver did not report the damage at the time of the accident. Monday, June 6th 2022. Fed ex driver drove accross my FRONT lawn , literally leaving rutts and several tire tracks as he backed up and forward , it was a mess, and still has rutts and uneveness!!! I was referred to ARC after Fed Ex reviewed my photos >> And I have never been more harassed by a so called insurance company giving me the run around, making me get quotes, prices, resending multiple photos...all via email!! NEVER ONCE in the *************************************************************** adjuster, her name is(*****************************,) and she is so rude , and codensending towards me, like belittling, ordering me to continue to get me to do things in order for her to to respond.. Yesterday, crying, I called the main office ,and complained, and they put me through to her after 10 minutes or so, and she lied several times saying i never did what she told me to do , WHY IS THIS MY JOB??!! She is like a bully , I am the victim here, she NEVER ONCE SINCE JUNE th answered my calls, always said she was AWAY FROM HER DESK... I have spent hours on this, and feel it is time ARC does their part finalizing this claim, it is ridiculous to say the least!!!!After SEVERAL PHOTOS SENT they claim they are liablefor damages, and now continue to harass me to the point of break down with this, I am the victim in this who came home to a tore up front yard, muddy mess, tire track , rutts , bare spots , not just on one side of my driveway , BUT BOTH!!!, And to top it off my grandsons ********, and carseat were laying in that muddy mess!!!.. I am rejecting this response because: This has been ignored , and been a constant run - around with this company since JUNE 6th, I feel, they needed to resolve this matter in a more timely manner!!! I have done all they have asked, made trips to Menards , which is about 45 minutes away, made numerous calls, sent numerous emails, and both of which were ignored for days!!! Alls I was asking was a resolution so I could get my lawn repaired, after the FED EX driver literally tore ruts in it, by driving right on it!!1 (Mind you I have a driveway) Then, proceeded to drive several other paths before driving yet across my driveway to more grass on the other side!!! I have been in tears trying to beg these people, only to be ignored!!! ***************************** , the adjuster NEVER ONCE answered her phone in the 18 times I tried reaching out from June 6th. Finally last week I called main line, after 15 minutes or so , and two people she responded with an active voice!!! People deserve more respect than this, I am the victim of this , but yet have done hours of work on this.. She would constantly come up with more ways to fluster, and put me into stress, and tears, sad!!!! Wow!! I submitted several photos of lawn, supplies I need to complete the job, and help, as I am a single mom at this time!!! I could not find a contractor in my area who was willing to do what I was asking for !!! A load of black dirt would be almost $500.00 , and that's a very low estimate!!1 I would be borrowing brothers truck to even get stuff!!1 Gas is HIGH.. I waited , and tried, and tried to get resolution only to get the run around with you since June 6th !!! Read all of the emails , asking why ******* wasn't responding or helping resolve the matter, and her making me feel belittled by giving me the run around! I am NOT some computer tech, I am a single mom of three boys. I CANNOT IMAGINE putting people through this, I was in tears many times! I had to drive to Menards to get prices, and quotes from garden center, on product, and write down the prices and skus...WHAT??? really? I was told by ******* that they can't get the prices and figure estimates out like Progressive does..She called herself a "THIRD PARTY ADMINISTRATOR", and that wasn't her job to get prices , and estimates !.. So apparently the person who is the victim in all of this gets to do all of the work??!! Then I should get a wage for that too... On July 25, 2022, A (2 axle) large Amazon truck drove onto my slanted driveway to deliver a package. The bottom of the truck scraped and damaged the driveway going up and coming down. The driveway surface has broken cement in multiple locations and because of the weight of the truck, the driveway sections have sunken where it must be removed to be repaired. I provided a video of the truck causing the damage and three estimates from reputable companies. I have done everything above and beyond to get three estimates, all of which are $4-5k. I was told that someone would review the file. Thank you for your response. I appreciate receiving any response and communications from ACR/Amazon, which have been essentially avoidance for several months. I am also interested in resolving this concern given additional damage concerns (see below).
I'm not sure why the file does not have the three estimates. I have provided each estimate as an attachment to this email. As you can see from the attached documents, I was required to obtain multiple estimates over a course of a couple of months to validate the range of repair costs. These quotes were submitted by independent companies with no affiliation with the other, and each independent company's quote is comparable is cost to all the others. The attached three estimates were provided by email to ************ do not accept the report from the appraisal over the quotes provided by industry specialists who have individually evaluated and assessed the necessary driveway repairs using the industry repair standards that would require industry knowledge, specialized equipment and labor to replace the cement damaged by Amazon's truck. ARC/Amazon has already conceded liability and responsibility, so the issue is the cost of the repair and I assert should be based on the three industry quotes. The specialized quotes are based on and have analyzed the slope/slant of the driveway and the equipment required to prevent the shifting of the cement to be repaired and the work the companies would warranty.
To make matters worst, as was predicted by the industry specialist, and due to the rain days, because the cement was depressed into the ground underneath the cement by the weight of the larger than average residential delivery truck, which was just short of the size of a semi truck, the sand and dirt under the slabs of concrete is now washing away from underneath the cement down the surface of the driveway. Why Amazon would send the size of truck into a residential neighborhood and drive and park on top of a residential driveway is unbelievable. However, I did advised ARC/Amazon of an additional emerging concern a few weeks ago so they were aware that there is now a consistent loosening of compacted sand/dirt from under the slabs of the driveway that is undoubtedly causing additional damage. So, where the top area of the driveway cement slabs are placed, the slabs are sliding downward and have begun pulling away contributing to additional gapping spaces between the areas were the slabs are scored, and especially at the top of the driveway. The rainy days are working against a timely repair and further delays are just exacerbating the initial damage that could have been repaired more timely.

Claim AMZ2022161017 An Amazon driver hit my garage and side of garage and caused enough damage that my garage door needs to be replaced AND we need to hire someone to fix the fascia of the side of the garage. I filed the claim the day it happened 4/16/2022. *** asked for a quote for the damage. We provided them with that on 4/28/22 for $3,402. On 5/5/22 ARC stated they would be sending an inspector out to the property. The inspector came out and was at our property for less than 5 minutes and never attempted to open our garage door. On 6/15/22 we received an offer from ARC for $2,059.13. On 6/15/22 I requested a copy of the inspection reports and have not received any return communication back. I have emailed ARC a total of 8 additional times (weekly) requesting an update and return communication. I have left 6 voicemails for ARC on their customer support line where they assure a return call within 2 business days. I have spoken to no fewer than 8 different employees/departments at Amazon to try to escalate this issue. I have gotten NOWHERE. *** has completely ghosted me with this claim. Their proposed payment does not replace our door for a like-door, does not allow a licensed and insured installer to complete the work and puts us in a complete disadvantage. Not responding to emails or phone calls is unprofessional and as a consumer I should. It have to file a claim with my own home owners insurance to have this taken care of. Amazon referred me to ARC after a driver knocked down my fence. *** asked for photos which I provided. They then denied the claim based on the photos not showing the driver in the act of hitting the fence. They required video evidence which I did not have. After several back and forth emails denying my claim they eventually offered $200 with no admission of liability. The cost to repair the fence was $400. Since it was a hit and run I contacted the police who investigated. They found paint from the truck, and a tire tread. All of this was conveyed to ARC who still refused to pay to fix the fence. I contacted the police again who investigated further and found the driver who said he had filed a report with the subcontracted company who had delivered the package detailing how he had knocked down the fence. This admission of liability was available to ARC if they had done even the minimum amount of investigation. It seems that ARC as a business operates by immediately denying any claims. Only if someone has the will power to continue to demand a resolution will they entertain paying any money. Two and a half months later, with the evidence I provided, 2 police investigations, and an admission of guilt by the driver, I have received no money whatsoever from ****** would recommend that Amazon end their contract with ARC and upgrade to one that has some kind of customer **********************.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:They are correct about no witness, but the tracking of the order on 13th, which was available on-line showed it was delivered and left at the front gate a little before 3pm. I put 4pm on my estimate of time of accident. I filled it out based upon my memory. When I checked the tracking on AMAZON it showed it was before 3PM. My description of the event was not in error only off by an hour. I know it was when we were gone from the house for a few hours to retrieve our pet. We returned around 5 PM to a damaged fountain and AMAZON delivery was at our front gate and the fountain was heavily leaking.
