Should have read all of these reviews first. Similar experience. I had a quote of $16,444 which was crazy. I had to sit through a crazy long sales pitch when I was clear that I did not have time. It was obvious they were trying to overjustify and set up a crazy price. Somehow he was able to say he could get it down to $3,800 as I was trying to get them out the door. A complete scam. Maybe a decent product but not worth what they are trying to rip people off for.

It's possible that if installed well, LeafGuard gutter systems could provide and effective drainage solution. My experience with them was terrible, and representative of the reason that LeafGuard of **********, ** no longer exists. In 2 locations, the installers cut into the shingles and caused water damage to the interior of my home - specifically $8000 worth of damage to my kitchen. In both cases, the section should have been cut shorter to remain level and fit into the eave, but the installers chose to force the section into place and cause damage that was covered over with silicone. There were several sections installed that appeared blatantly unlevel to the naked eye and held inches of water at all times. The installers chose to re-use old rain pipe and did not attempt to route them away from the house, resulting in water entering my basement every time it rains. A downspout elbow that was routed into a 20+ foot downspout was cut so that it blocked the entire area of the main downspout, meaning that during rain, water poured out the top of the downspout and onto the nearby wooden window frame. The ********** location manager was completely dismissive of claims without seeing them. The worst part I witnessed was the treatment of the employees and the payment system does not come close to compensating or encouraging them to provide quality work. They only make reasonable salaries for installs (as they are a percentage of the cost) and I was told that the jobs to fix the poor work were paid at $12 per hour. In summary, I paid over $20,000 for a gutter system that caused me over $10,000 worth of additional damage (and counting) and interaction with the most arrogant and obtuse people I have encountered in home improvement.

We were pleased with our Leaf Guard gutters we got years ago from a different company, so I went to this company first to replace a gutter on the front and a small piece on the side. The salesperson was on a script but couldn't answer questions. Then he quoted "around $15,000" and said that "price" was only good if I signed that day. Thank goodness I did not. I found another company that has larger gutters and works the same (their salesperson used to work for the original company that put on the gutters on the back of our house.) They got the work done quickly and with great care for $3,300. I think the only thing better about Leaf Guard were the access points to the downspouts, but that wasn't worth $12,000 to me when there are only 2 downspouts for the job that needed to be done.

So sorry that I didn't read this reviews before being scammed by this company! My mistake! To begin with the saleman was as shady as they come! I should have trusted my instincts but after getting off of as third shift rotation, I guess that I wasn't thinking as clearly as I should have been. After a very long sales pitch and after discussing the ridiculous price that he started with,he called his "so called" boss and kept coming down on the price. After discussing the payment, the "salesman" stated that I could finance 18 months "interest free" which I wasn't really going to do, but I thought why not, I could pay over and above for those months, interest free and not touch my savings. Well, when I got my first statement from *************** which I hate, I was charged a $29.00 (activation fee) which was "inconveniently" not told about! After contacting the credit card company, I was told that there wasn't anything that I could do about the charge.I called Leaf Guard to speak to someone and after multiple calls, I get NO REPLY back. It's not so much about the money, it is the principle of all it was all handled.Oh, I failed to mention that when the gutters were installed, the two guys left such a mess around my house and drive that I am still finding nails and metal pieces after a month. When they showed up for the install, they said that it would only take a few hours, but 12 hours later when I'm trying to rest before going back into work at 9pm, they finally finished without cleaning up their mess!Never again will I ever recommend this company to anyone, so BEWARE, A TOTAL RIPOFF!

BAD BAD BAD!!!!!!!!! Stay away from this company. Sketchy, weird sales guy, that was hard to shake. Kept talking, and walking around our property. Got his quote the next day....super over-priced cost for a 30 foot section of gutter. When I called this guy to ask a few questions, he was super rude, unprofessional, and then ended up hanging up on me!

We had Leaf Guard gutters put on this week and the installation crew worked well and cleaned up nicely. The salesman and installers were courteous and knew their job. *** looks good now to just wait for some rain to see how it works. We choose Leaf Guard since we have many walnut trees around our 2 story house since other systems did not seem to offer the protection that Leaf Guard could provide. So far I would recommend checking them out for your situation.

Leaf Guard ********* is one of the worst businesses that I have ever dealt with as a consumer. They installed gutters on both my roof and garage, and thus far there have been no problems. What I did not like is the way they treated me as a customer after one of the pieces of fascia fell off and their response to my inquiry. After trying to contact them over 2 weeks, they finally called back. I had already selected another vendor to fix the problem. Instead of inquiring about the nature and extent of the problem, they threatened to cancel my warranty, as they are not responsible for the work of others. At one level, they are correct, but this would not have been an issue if they called me back in a reasonable amount of time. The contact person then threatened me again with the potential loss of warranty for my actions in contracting with someone else to do the repair. They used intimidation and scare tactics to bolster their argument, a great marketing strategy on their part! I told them that the issue was not resolvable given their position, and I wondered why they even called me back. At the end of the day, I would never recommend them to others. They were terribly unprofessional and indifferent to my needs, and I paid them thousands of dollars to only be marginalized and treated as someone who had no legitimate concerns. My best recourse is to tell others about this incident and hope they do not use them. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my 68 years of living! ****

LeafGuard Gutters are a complete waste of money. The gutters do not filter the water during downpours which caused structural damages. I am in the process of having them replaced. I have reached out to the company and no one has returned my call

A few months ago we purchased a new home in our 55+ community and decided to install LeafGuard gutters. We discovered online that Leaf Guard of ****** was the company that currently installs LeafGuard gutters. We met with a Leaf Guard of ****** representative who walked around home and measured our gutter needs, showed us the gutters and downspouts and discussed our cost bid. The gutters and downspouts shown to us looked like the same LeafGuard gutters we had installed in our previous home by a company that no longer services ******; hence, we decided to once again install LeafGuard gutters. We were not told that the downspouts were no longer tapered into the grounding receptacles; we discovered at installation that our gray downspouts were changed to go into an ugly, plastic transition ring that only came in white or black. We were also not informed that this installation of LeafGuard gutters would expose the shiny roof flashing over the top of the gutters and the unpainted surfaces under the gutters. We had just spent a lot of money re-landscaping and painting the exterior of our home and this gutter installation by Leaf Guard of ****** has totally negated the aesthetics of our forever home. We called Leaf Guard of ****** to discussed these issues, express our dissatisfaction and asked who was going to pay for the painters to return to paint the roof flashing and under the gutters and we were told they were not painters and it was up to ** to have it painted. Leaf Guard of ******** ended our call with I will send you a **** gift for $100what an insult! We paid almost $12,000 and was left with a botched, embarrassing installation on our once beautiful home! We will NEVER recommend Leaf Guard of ****** to anyone; in fact, we have added this company to the Do Not Use list at our HOA *****************
