LeadGuard costs a lot. Not only do we get a lot of ice buildup, but birds constantly build nests on the inside of the LeafGuard. That creates blockages. So, it doesnt work effectively. When we call the company to have them clean it out, they change a lot for their trip charge. We would have been better without going with LeafGuard.

This Product is JUNK!!!!!!. The sales people promise there the best gutters out there but they don't even do what a gutter is suppose to do. a lot of ice buildup in the winter and a lot of water going over the gutters and not into the gutters. I though I was getting the best gutters there is just like the sales person said but instead I got junk so called gutters that don't do what there supposed to do. LeafGuard is a SCAM.

Excellent Product, Had Leafguard on our house in PA and just had them installed here in SC. Two guys, **** and *** completed the install in one day, took away the old gutters and took time to explain the system as there have been several upgrades since we first had them intalled in PA. Expensive, yeah, but you get what you pay for. Top mount gutter filters sound good but when soggy leaves accumulate on the they need to be cleaned off, NOT with LeafGuard.

on5 march 2023.... leaf guard sent this little weirdo to give me a quote on(1) gutter... he insist on quoting the entire house while 'pretending' to do only (1) gutter like I cant see he's wasting my time.. he's in the front of the house claming he's taking measurements for the install crew when the gutter I wanted replaced is in the back.. when I told him im no longer interested and to leave he tried me.. but I didnt bite... leaf uard is a overpriced scam that tries to pressure homeowners into a complete home install instead of a partial one... which they tell u on the phone is no problem.. but when they show they on something else

I would never recommend Leaf Guard gutter systems to anyone! I have more water and ice build up on my roof edges and around my home on the sidewalks and patio. I wish I have done more research on these junk products.I had 100% better luck with the product I had on my home before I switched to leaf guard. Its like the water goes over the shield and on my sidewalks and driveway etc. ******************* is no help. I wish I could return the whole system with a refund. The whole reason I switched I have a roof and didnt like going up there anymore. If you have in a cold weather climate good like.

******. J I think leaf guard did a excellent job. **** and ****** arrived early and explained everything to me that was going to take place then went to work. They completed the job in just 2-3 hours then had me go through walk and showed me the work and reviewed the system with me. They cleaned up after completing job. I very pleased with their work and placement of new gutters.

I concur with the comment that it makes no sense for LeafGuard to have an A+ BBB rating, but almost a one star rating from customer reviews. The sales tactics of this company are like that of a scam. Similar to others, we had an initial price offer with an almost fake call to a "supervisor" to lower the price only to be told that the end that it was only good until the salesperson walked out the door. I complained and was told that it would be good to the end of the day. I contacted the supervisor who the next day said that indeed the price was now higher. I complained to the call center, and a regional manager called and said that as this "5% day off" discount was advertised, it could not "legally" be offered on the day after. I told him that we were not told this. I could also not find this advertised on their website. Though this company sells a product that works for many and seems great due to their advertised warranty, their underhanded and deceptive sales tactics, which seem to permeate the whole company, are a warning that this is not a company you want to support or do business with. BBB, your reputation is questionable by continuing to give this company an A+ rating which they proudly advertise, but fall very short of.

Same experience as several reviewers. Stay away from this ** -never ask for an estimate. Waste of time. High pressure sales job. We made the mistake to ask for a estimate at an HBA show. From the beginning salesperson gave off bad vibes! No business card or literature and only gave first name when I first met him. Had his bags of examples for his Amway presentation. Got to final, bottom line **st after about 2 hrs spent w him. Started out high then gave dis**unts for this or that, then became very pushy and **uld only give the good dis**unts today-refused to allow us to talk about it and get back to him later. Said we **uld pay everything now and sign **ntract with 3 days to cancel. Another Song and dance that he would have to physically **me back to sign **ntracts etc. if we decided to make purchase after thinking about it. When I got up to end the mtg at that point and telling him we dont make decisions this way and we were good up until that point, while walking away, he **ntinued his desperate pushy sales pitch and began making remarks about me to my husband. When I overheard him, I returned and **nfronted him on his actions. I asked for his name and business card, which he refused of **urse to provide but he supposedly was from ******, **, but had SC pics in his presentationsketchy. I told him his methods were similar to car sales that the deal was only good today. He was very abrasive and made negative remarks to me then quickly packed up and sped away in his ******** sedan. Same ole high pressure sales presentation like with timeshares, car sales, etc. Price is only good today! What an absolute joke!!!!

We had LeafGuard gutters installed on our home in ********* in the Fall of 2021. Prior to having these gutters installed we didn't have any issues with icicles or ice dams forming along the edge of our roof. Over the last 6 weeks we've had significant ice formation along 4 different areas of our roof. Our neighbors house, who was built by the same builder at the same time, with similar roof lines has not had any ice build up. We've never had ice build up in the previous 12 years of living here. The LeafGuard salesperson did not disclose the increase liklihood of ice build up, which we find untruthful espicially given the climate we live in. There is a paragraph in the contract that they are not responsible for increased ice formation or the formation of ice. However, they don't state any responsibility for damage to the roof due to ice formation or the hazards that are caused by large icicles dropping and the ice patches that are created on the ground when large amounts of ice drop off the roof. We experienced both this Spring in each area the ice formed. LeafGuard was dishonest by not disclosing that ice may be MORE LIKELY to form, and the resulting issues of this happening. There was NO discussion or disclosure about this - therefore making it unfair to the consumer to make a well informed decision.
