      After a very long discussion with two sales people, we decided to sign up for a premium package. The salesman assured me that the poor overall rating for the company was due to their not paying for a higher place on the webpage reviews, and because at least one of the companies was so new that they had no complaints. He touted the awards for service that the company had as shown on the webpage. We had already seen the webpage list of the terms of the agreement that we could cancel without cost within the first 30 days. After completing the purchase agreement, the salesman called to say that the underwriter refused to allow out swimming pool heater to be included. That was fine with me as I was surprised that the offer was made to cover it. But I was impressed that the salesman called to let me know the one thing I was promised wasn't going to be included in the policy after all. That was a good omen. But then I had time to look at the BBB reviews of the company. Some complaints were not well taken (in my opinion) and some of the responses by the company seemed appropriate. However, I was most distressed to see reports of the appliance NOT being replaced, or repaired but there was an offer of $200 or so as a resolution. I was also distressed by delays in service and responses. When I tried to call the phone number listed on the webpage for sales and service, the phone was not in order! By this time the business day ended, so the next day I called to cancel and after them trying to convince me to stay, they cancelled by contract and sent me an email to that effect. Apparently I got the cancellation entered before they charged my credit card, so there won't need to be a credit entered. Thus, my experience was balanced between good follow up from the underwriting and the ease in cancelling, and the dismal ratings from BBB customers. So, I'm happy to have cancelled, but readers should know that they are not 100% bad based on my experience (w/o claims made).

      This company has been a nightmare since day one, every time I put in a work order, they cant find anyone to do the job. I have to find my own technicians to do the job, and when it is time to reimburse me, I was told they will send me a check in 8 weeks. I only received my reimbursement faster when BBB got involved!

      If I could give it MINUS 2 STARS, I would. I've been paying my membership fee for 5 month now and filed my first claim in March of 2024. 3 weeks later, still had no plumber assigned to me. When I said I wanted to cancel, they promised me a plumber within the next 3 days. Finally got a plumber, he made his assessment, I paid the $75 service fee and was told by the plumber he had to wait for Service Plus to give them confirmation to do the job. He told me he'd be back that afternoon, but he didn't come back, because he never gotten the conformation from them in time. I called him the next day and he stated he couldn't get any communication from Service Plus and had to pull off the job. Service Plus sends me an email to get my own plumber and I'd be reimbursed up to $200. It's now May 20, still waiting on my reimbursement and had to file a 2nd claim on May 2nd, because the issue is still not fixed. Still no plumber and they closed my claim without any communication to me of why. Trying to call them and supposedly next in line for the next customer service person, but been on hold for an hour and a half. If they ask you to prefer to leave your number to get a call back from the next available customer service...don't do it, because they just put you back on hold for another 45 min....and still going, still haven't talked to ANYBODY!!! WORST COMPANY WITH THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Worst decision of my life and supposedly stuck with them until November 2024, because they say it's a 1 yr contract. So I'm stuck with them paying them $45 per month FOR NO SERVICE WHAT SO EVER!!! I think that money would've been put to better use, if I had given it to a homeless person. BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!! They take your money, but give you no service!!!

      Horrible!! I have read the other reviews a I have to say one thing about Service Plus, all their reviews are the same:No technician available Long waits to tell you (see above)Questionable business tactics I could go on but I would just be repeating what the other customer are reporting

      I have been trying to get away from Service Plus for over a year. I have requested a cancellation multiple times with no resolution. Every time I have tried to use the service I am told they cant find a service person and it takes over 2 months. I have had to pay out of pocket for all repairs. This is a fraudulent and predatory company. Buyer beware.

      If I could give a - number I would. I signed up for this absolute horrible company December 2022 I made sure our well was in the warranty to be covered and anything else that would be with the well. The first year we made zero claims. I knew the year was up and I thought we were doing month to month bc nothing was emailed or mailed to sign a new contract. My bill was $62 for the first year monthly and went up to $71 monthly. Come May 2, 2024 our well crapped out. We needed a new well pump and pressure tank. I had no idea that the *** covered was $500 for the well pump and I had no idea the pressure tank was not covered. The contractor they tried to send couldnt come for two weeks hello we can not be without water for two weeks. I asked them to send another company and they never did they closed the claim. I got my own company to come out and the company we used I had to finance and our estimate was $9,000-10,200 and all this horrible fraudulent company wants to give me is $500 and I kept being told the copay is $100 which is another lie bc its $75. I told them to cancel my account immediately and not to take another time out of my account he said you are on a contract. Nope no I am not I dont agree to anything the second year. He said its auto renew. Nope nope and nope. Well they wont be getting anymore of my money. I changed my card info and it will decline every time. I could go on and on. Never ever use this horrible company.

      The very worst. 8 weeks to process a 200 check they prorated on my washing machine. They take a full 48 hours to process a claim for service. They dont include icemakers in a fridge for repair. You must pay extra monthly. I can go on. Then when I cancel my policy it becomes immediate. I paid a month in advance on April 28 and on May 8 cancel. I should have coverage until the 28. Not with this company. I do not recommend them at all.

      Totally horrible experience ! ****** went bad had to wait Saturday and Sunday to report ! They do not have 24/7 service ! On Monday we were told someone would be in contact within 3 business days ! In 4 days we called again and were told to find a repair company near us ! Then get approval for them before work could start or we wont have coverage ! This company will take your money then expect you to do all the work for repair ! Useless and a rip off !

      Worst warranty company. I had 9 days waiting for them to find someone to fix my washer machine. It is not worth to spend your money this way.

      Zero stars! Scam! Called for minor plumbing repairs & it took approximately 3 months for them to resolve. Also the repair company that ServicePlus sent an invoice for additional money. Run dont walk away from this company. Also they refused to cancel my policy after they clear failed to provide the service they are promoting..,,
