      This the worst company i've ever had to deal with. Submitted claim to have my heater fixed, temp. running in the low 30's, they couldn't find a technician in my area. After 10 days of me calling everyday they said they would look outside the area. Still no luck 10 more days go by without heat and they still can't find anyone. So, I search for a company that will work with them, nobody in the ******* area or surrounding areas wanted to have anything to do with them. I hired a repair tech to get my heater repaired, hoping they would reimburse me. Send in the invoice and they denied my reimbursement because "I didn't get prior approval" and because they do not pay for repairs on valves "any type of valve". I started really looking hard at the contract, ServicePlus has denial legalese in every aspect of their contract. This company is a scam, do not use them. Wish the BBB had less than 1 star.

      This is bogus company and cheating people. Dont try to loose money. They never pay your claim everything on phone they say is a lie. Be careful.

      Sadly I have to agree with all of the negative reviews. I hate to admit I got suckered for about $800 for "6 years of service" back in Jan 2022. I'm a first time home buyer and was renewing the previous year free to me by the home seller.I actually had a claim approved and it's 2 months later and no check. Basically, "checks in the mail" is what I've been told the 3 times I've called thus far. I see reviewers stating they've been waiting months to over a year for their check. Doesn't sound like I'll be getting mine either. If they're this bad for a $160 check, hate to think of an even larger claim being submitted thinking I'm covered and won't be...."*****" is the one that promised me good service, sold the plan, added "extras" ***********. I'm not easily taken but he was slick and seems I was definitely taken which irks me. Also, their customer service base is almost always a foreign person who are hard to understand and have fake sympathy and empathy for your issue. They don't care.

      If I could give no stars that would be more fitting. They are a total rip off. Never send a technician, never reimburse. I was told that I could cancel the policy and they are arguing on the phone with me - refusing to cancel the policy as requested. Then put me on hold and never came back on the line. I paid for warranties on 2 properties to the tune of more than 6 thousand dollars. This is BS DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM

      This has been a horrible experience. It is near freezing every night and our heat went out. After calling and submitting a repair, found they dont do anything on weekends. Waited until Monday, got assigned a company, after talking with them they do not offer same day or next day service so now we are out to 5 days with no heat. The company comes to review the equipment and may not fix it on that day either, which then increases even more days with no heat. Do not invest in this company. Look for one with 24x7 service including after hours and weekend emergency support, otherwise you are wasting your money. I am already searching for a new provider with better service.

      This company has just about burnt me on even buying a home warranty. I filed two claims, and neither one was accepted. It took 2 weeks and $100 to find out that, once again, the repair was not covered. When we called, they would tell us they were going to expedite our claim. Never happened. The first service rep said our product was covered but then denied it. Finally, we also found out they worked through a third party. Not a company I would recommend.

      DO NOT buy a warranty from this company because they find an excuse for every claim I filed to NOT pay. I filed a claim in a June for a pool repair, two weeks later they had not even found service company to send out. I told them I would find someone, they authorized the repair, I paid the contractor and am still waiting 4 months for that reimbursement. Their service reps are just a call center taking messages. I would really rate them as minus 10.

      Id give them 0 stars if I could!!! This is the biggest joke of a company. My washer stopped working in MARCH, someone was sent out within the week and deemed it unfixable. I was told that I would be given a check for $300 to go towards the cost. My understanding of the point of a company like this is that they would replace the item themselves but whatever Ill take the check to supplement the cost. 6 MONTHS later and I am still waiting on the check. I have an alarm set every week to call and see the status. Every week they give me the same run around that they are waiting on the billing department. I pay $500+ a year.., for what??? My contract with them ends in April and it can not come sooner. BEWARE of this company!!! Shop around and choose another!

      Well after reading all of these reviews, all I can say is: same. I agree. They never pay for anything, even the things they say they will. They have never approved a single fix. I have had a $175 check "in the mail" for over a year. I have been told two separate times (6 months apart) that they "are under new management" that "just started this month" and everything will get better. Trying to cancel was even a hassle. They changed me $50 to cancel my account and I was willing to pay it so that I never have to be gaslit by their customer service representatives ever again. Their sales person outright lied to me, and then the customer service rep told me that the ********************** is not responsible for what the sales associates say? I have yet to come across anyone who has gotten a single thing covered under this plan. It's a scam, and needs to be shut down.

      What is complete nightmare this company is. I paid for my policy upfront for 3 1/2 years. Every claim I have made but two have been denied for one excuse or another. The two that were approved or for pennies compared to what I had to pay for the repair. I have been waiting since ***** to receive my reimbursement checks calling regularly and getting excuses that their accounts payable department is behind and they would push me through what they call a que to get my check out as soon as possible. Every time I call its the same excuse. Im embarrassed and ashamed at myself for not doing research on this company before purchasing a policy. They just had a good sales person at the time. Has anyone out there ever received a refund/reimbursement from this company? I would sure love to know? All I can say is I highly recommend that you dont use this company which Im feeling now is totally a scam.
