i purchased some womens] under ware last night from Barenessities in ******, ********** and I put some bras and ******* in my cart and by accident I must have hit the wrong key and the next thing I now I got an email thanking me for my purchase oof $28437! I never hit the place order key and I almost had a heart attack..I tried calling them but no one answered as it was (05/23/2025)So ,this morning and I called them and I was treated very poorly and I was told that thew could not cancel this order and I would have to receive it and send it back to them.I could not understand that they just could not cancel it them. The girl was rude and failed to help me.. Made a clothing purchase of $205 on 09/03/2024, which I returned within 30 days because of bad fit. I used the shipping label provided by the company, and tracked to ensure that the warehouse received the return.
However I still have not received my refund. I was lied to that a refund was issued 11/18/2024, but then they admitted not having issued anything.
I have contacted the business no less than 25 times, and have a long chain of emails and conversations with different customer service personnel. I have been promised checks or store credits, which then was changed to a refund **********, which then changed again to a check.
Last communication with them was 02/13/2025 when I was told that a refund check would be sent to my mailing address, and yet, I have received nothing.Initial Complaint

It has been five months since I initiated my refund request on September 17, 2024, and I am still missing $35.79 of the refund for my order. The grand total for my order was $92.35, and for the return, they deducted a $6.95 shipping fee, leaving $85.40 to be refunded.
After multiple attempts to contact Bare Necessities, they refunded $49.61 on a prepaid ********** on December 17, 2024. However, they have refused to refund the remaining $35.79, despite my continued efforts to resolve this issue. I have repeatedly reached out to customer service, but they continue to give me the runaround without offering a clear resolution.
I am seeking a refund of the remaining $35.79.

On Dec. 9th, I placed an order on barenecessities website for $292.98. I was logged into my account, which I have ordered from multiple times with no issues. When the order confirmation page came up, I immediately noticed that my default mailing address had been changed to a business address where I worked more than 5 years ago, even though I had not changed my default shipping address. I emailed them within minutes of placing the order, as I couldn't find their phone number, and received an AI response saying they would forward it to the shipping department and try to update it since the order had just been placed. Needless to say, the address was not changed, and I didn't receive any other response till the next day when I was told they couldn't help and to try to retrieve the package directly or file a dispute with my bank if needed.
I called FedEx and tried to change the delivery address, but Bare Necessities ships FedEx via SmartPost, which allows no changes to packages as it is a cheap, discounted way of shipping.
I tried retrieving the package directly but could not, and the business returned it to FedEx. On Dec. 17th, I asked BareNecessities for a refund and received NO response, so I filed a dispute with my credit card company as they had directed in the only contact I got from them. I learned that disputes are usually found in the merchant's favor, which is why they were so quick to tell me to do so, and when it was, they denied another request for a refund. I tracked the package and found it was returned to their Edison, NJ, address on Jan. 10th. I emailed them again with all the tracking info, showing it had been returned to them. No response; I emailed again asking for a response and finally got one saying they had no responsibility for me putting in the incorrect shipping address, which I didn't, and also that their offices are no longer in Edison, NJ. So the return address on THEIR shipping label is also wrong, and that's my fault as well?Initial Complaint

I responded to an ad by this Company advertising buy five, get five free (for a total of ten), at which time I made an order. However, I only received five. In addition, they were too small. I had purchased the same product on 9-12-2024 in the same style and size, which fit correctly. As I always do with this item, I cut the tags out before wearing one of them. When I contacted the Company on 12-16-24-2024, 12-28-2024 and again on 1-18-25, I was told the promotion was not in effect at the time I made my order. However, I was ****rmed that it was in effect at the time I contacted them on 12-16-2024. I was, also told that the items couldn't be returned since I had cut the tags out.Customer Answer

I ordered an item from the Bare Necessities website on Monday, Jan 6th at 7:45pm MT. Upon checking out the website forces one into the Shop app to complete the purchase and check out.
I was trying to apply a credit/vocher that I had, which was the only reason for placing this order in the first place but the site immeditaely skipped the option to enter any promo or voucher codes and placed the order on my card. No confirmation page was even offered prior to confirming the purchase.
I immediately attempted to cancel the purchase but there was no option to do so on the Shop app page, nor from my "Orders" page on the Bare Necessities site. I immediately sent them an email to cancel/dismiss the order but did not even receive an response from their Cust Service team telling me they received my order.
Knowing quite well that I didn't want to pay $50 for something I was planning on using my credit for, I called my bank to file a disupute on the payment to BN.
I called BN first thing this morning and the CS agent and Supervior offered me zero help on this order I had accidentely processed less than 12 hrs previous. They blamed it on Shop and took zero accountability nor offered any help to me to fix the situation.
My only hope is to intercept the delivery and refuse it before they leave it on my doorstep, making me fully accoutable for this order.
Either way, their customer service team offered me ZERO help and didn't care about my situation whatsoever.
I want them to refund me the $51.93 and apply the existing voucher total to my purchse - or just cancel the order all together. I will track and attempt to refuse the package from DHL as well.
Just horrible customer service all around. I'll never order from this company again.Initial Complaint

I ordered the selected items back in SEPTEMBER, immediately returned those items for a full refund minus return shipping. The order has a delivery confirmation of October 3 and yet as of December 3, I have not seen a refund. I started with email communication which I did not get a response back then I started calling to confirm when I would obtain this refund. I have called 3x so far and each time I have been told the following:
1st call : case has been escalated, offered giftcard which I refused. Mentioned the refund system was done so I could not get a refund. Told to call back in a few days on the status.
2nd call: asked for status, they said this was escalated to management and I would be getting some type of communication either Friday or Monday- its now end of day Tuesday
3rd call : asked for status and mentioned filing a case with your website. mentioned the refund system is still down and they'll note my complaint.
How many times much I manage a company before I can get a refund for the product I sent back 2 months ago?? I only want my refund.Initial Complaint

I returned 2 bras purchased 9.12.24 for a refund. Despite several contacts since then I have not received my refund. The company claims it is a software problem with processing through Visa. I have requested a check instead of using Visa, but am told it will take 6 weeks for that to be processed. 3 months already is too long to wait for a refund.
Can you help with this problem?

This company's return policy lists "Returning within 30 days from purchase: Your credit card or account will be refunded." I returned an item I ordered on 9/22/24 upon receipt, but was not issued a refund until 12/4, and it came in the form of a gift card for store merchandise. Additionally, this company's website uses deceptive language. Items that are not listed as final sale appear as such on the invoice.
