      Order a costume on October 2, 2022 never received costume spoke with a representative on October 20, 2022 who refunded me shipping after still not receiving costume on October ************************************************************************************************************************************************** 5-7 days after not receiving refund called back spoke to another representative on November 4, 2022 and this representative states that it takes **** days to receive a refund so on November 7, 2022 I receive a refund of $3.90 I then call and speak to someone on November 9, 2022 and was told that my refund didnt start to process until November 4, 2022 and its a 2 part refund that takes 21 days so basically the representative on the 26 never processed the refund and at this point I feel like theyre giving me the run around about my money SO UNPROFESSIONAL

      The store in ***** had advertising for 75% off on November 3rd. I went to two locations and both locations were closed. Poor advertising and false

      It is so easy to take other people's money with zero accountability for this company. Bought from store on ********, in *******************, a strobe light of theirs two days before Halloween. Attempted to use item on Halloween night and found out that it was defective. Took the light back to the store the very next day to get refund or credit and we were told that their exchange deadline was actually a few days before Halloween and they couldn't take their own bad product back. Ridiculous! They sell defective items and hide behind unfair policies to avoid responsibility. I will never buy anything from them again.

      Buyer Beware! The $300 animatronic we bought there did not work. The store manager did not want to give us our money back, even though I returned it the very next day, & said this companys policy is no returns. She admitted to me that shed purchased the exact same animatronic ************** did not work either. (Mine was probably the same one shed returned because it was broken.) These things cost too much for them to refuse to give you your money back if they dont work. I did eventually get my $$ back. Also, none of the discount coupons they emailed me for a month worked. (No one elses did either.) The manager said the company shut them off so that they couldnt be used. I will never buy anything from Spirit Halloween ever again. Shady AF. Also, dont bother even sending me your Auto-generated robotic reply. You have repeatedly proven you do not care what your customers think.

      I'm angry! 1st I tried to call and they don't have anyone to answer phone. Then I take half a day off work to go get some 50% off Halloween stuff, to find it was only 25% off today. After driving over an hr to get there. THEN I ask, do you have a cart? No? Goodbye.. WTF SERIOUSLY

      I picked up a "Skeleton Lady XL" costume as a last-minute outfit for tomorrow (Halloween) Just in case I couldn't get the one I'm sewing done. I normally wear a *****, so I in no way expected this to fit (as Spirit's XL is a *****). I expected I'd have to either sew in side panels (plus side to being a seamstress).On a whim, I tried it on, and HOLY COW !! The thing actually FITS! Beautifully too. I checked and triple-checked the size - like, did the wrong dress get in the wrong bag? But no. In fact, what I was trying on was the XL dress. On top of that, I picked up their "defective due to possession" gravestone animatronic. I adore him! The staff at the ******************* store was amazing. And they have been each time I've been to their ******************* and ****** locations.I'd give them a higher review if I could. I 100% recommend them!!

      I tried to take a costume back today to the ************* location to hopefully exchange it for another costume. I had my original receipt with me. I was told I was unable to get a refund or do an exchange per the corporate office b/c of scams that are going on. What does that have to do with me? I put the purchase on my bankcard. I had the costume in the original package, my ************ card with me. This was before any Halloween event. I think this is a very poor business practice. I will not be buying from Spirit again.

      Same issue as **************** below. I ordered on costume online on October 23rd only because there was a coupon online to reduce cost of 2-day shipping to $10 instead of $25.24. I paid the $10 to make sure the costume arrived no later than Wednesday, October 26th. It is now Friday, October 28th and no costume. The tracking info says it was sent Fed Ex postal (not 2-day shipping)l and Fed Ex will drop it off to my post office to have the post office deliver the package to my home on Saturday, October 29th. However, the tracking also says the costume is sitting in *********** so my post office in ********, ** hasn't received it yet. So, it is very unlikely it will be delivered to my home tomorrow and possibly not for Halloween on Monday. I called the customer service line multiple times and selected different options to speak with a customer service representative and it keeps sending me to a recording that directs me to their website. I even tried the option on the website to live chat and it doesn't work. I am going to have a very disappointed child and will have to go out tomorrow to purchase a second costume due to Spirit Halloween's false advertisement. I expect a full refund.

      I ordered a staff from the Spirit Halloween on Oct 20. It came without any plastic packaging. When my child took it from the shipping carton, the ball on the top of the staff fell. We tried all kinds of ways to stable the ball on the top but failed. Later I found out the ball actually was glued on top but the glue dried out. Therefore, the store shipped me a defective item. No wonder there was no packaging!I tried to call the customer service number three times. Every time the call was automatically disconnected after a lengthy advertisement about their store. I was so happy to find there is a Spirit Halloween store nearby. So I drove there. The store manager's first word was "no return". I took out the packing list, trying to explain to him that it clearly stated "damaged or defective items must be returned in store or postmarked within 14 days of purchase in order for us to process a return". He grabbed the paper from me, insisting on the no return policy. I took the paper from him and tried to point to the statement. Then he began to yell at me "Don't snap paper from me!"Then we had several rounds of argument. During the augment, he rolled his eyes at me, stared at me, yelled at me. He even threated "I am going to ask you to leave". Eventually he issued the refund. My goodness, what a drama and hassle!I am posting my complaining here. I am sure the store will copy/paste their universal response. I hope someone is doing something against this rude and notorious seller.

      Do not order online if you plan on actually getting it when they promise!!!I ordered a Halloween costume for a Halloween party, paid extra for expedited shipping to be delivered by 10/27/22 and today, 10/28/22 it hasn't even been processed. When I called to follow up on my order I waited on hold numerous times over 30 minutes each time to be disconnected. I finally got a call back after finally leaving my number and they said it hasn't even been processed by warehouse and no way I would receive the costume in time. I have requested a refund at this time and must scramble last minute to find a costume. SO DISAPPOINTED and will never use again!
