In good faith i purchased a service contract with this company. Didn't have to use it for 3 years. Had my car towed to the dealership and problem was diagnosed. ********** service Mgr contacted iDeal with all information necessary and was given the run around for over a week. Finally an adjuster was sent to inspect the damage. Agreed i needed a new motor. I paid over 2k for the bumper to bumper warranty which covered all mechanical issues. Once iDeal heard the price, they then told my service mgr I had to pay out of pocket to have the motor broke down at the price of 6k. ********** did full diagnostics and told them the problem and what caused it. There was absolutely no reason to tear the motor down. I couldn't afford to pay for the tear down, and to be honest, I'm sure if I did they would have just found a way to get out of the repair anyways. So I'm out the 2.3k i paid for the contract, the 143 for the tow that i was never reimbursed for, and my car. These companies are nothing but scams. Car shield, endurance.. all of them. I purchased a vehicle warranty from this company on October 06 2019 for the amount of $1920. On November 11 2024 I started my truck to hear something making a grinding sound.So I took it to my mechanic and they said it was the bearings in the water pump which is a covered part.So the mechanic files a claim and when they called the mechanic back they asked if the water pump was leaking water. They said it’s not leaking water, but the bearings are grinding and they said well if it’s not leaking water it’s not covered. Nowhere in my contract does it say that the water pump has to be leaking to be a bad water pump. what my contract says is a Breakdown means the inability of a properly maintained covered part to perform the function for which it was designed due to defect in materials or workmanship. So I had to pay out of my pocket to replace a covered part.Initial Complaint

I had a mechanical problem with my car . This car has a protection plan with this company. One of the salesman authorized the repair and compromised to pay me after deductible. I sent the invoice but after one month of lies , he didn’t answer the phone anymore.
I paid $ 1350 for the plan and they are denying a $ 150 net.
What a Scam. I want this people out of business. There are thousands of reviews complaining for the same company and same results.

I purchased Elite+ package from iDeal Auto Protect. This is the second time trying to reach them for a claim and cannot connect with anyone. The first call was made 90 days ago about a bad Air bag sensor and all I got was "if you reference your signed contract" you'll that it is not covered. I took that as a bad sign but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. My second time i needed my warranty was when the axel on my car broke. I was told that the warranty company needed to supply the part (not the dealer OEM part) and that the are only reasonable for 50% of the labor charge and no nuts bolts or any other parts (sub-frame) do to the original part breaking the other part. The only answer I get is "As per your signed contract". I feel completely ripped off and lied to. They don’t care about their customers—just the sale. Save yourself the headache and avoid this shady company at all costs!Initial Complaint

I purchased Elite+ package in Nov 2021. This is the first time trying to reach them for a claim and cannot connect with anyone. The first call was made 6 days ago and called almost everyday since and no reply. All calls go to voicemail. Sales department is the only area that answers the call, but answered by a receptionist who just took a message. I purchased a warranty for my vehicle in 2022 and I recently filed a claim to have repairs done on my vehicle and the warranty company will not communicate at all with either myself or the auto shop who is trying to repair my vehicle. I have left over 6 voicemails and the auto shop has also left multiple messages for them over the course of 3 weeks without anyone returning our messages. My vehicle needs over $10,000 worth of work and is currently sitting at the auto shop because I cannot drive it. The business ideal auto protect has been horrible to work with and they have told me over the phone in the past when *** voiced my concerns that my concerns dont matter to them and they dont care. I am at a loss for what Im supposed to do because I spent over $1,500 on this warranty and I am unable to use it. So I either need them to refund me my money if they wont even communicate about my claim or to actually do their jobs and tell us what is covered. The auto shop says that they have never dealt with a warranty company as unprofessional as Ideal auto protect and theyve never had this much trouble with another company like this before.Initial Complaint

I paid for an auto warranty for my car. When we had a claim, the company sent an inspector to the mechanic shop, they agreed on paying a portion of the cost. The mechanic went ahead with repairs. They contacted the warranty company with out any luck of collecting the cost of repairs. We have attempted to contact the dozens of times via phone and email. They responded a couple times and avoided our attempt to collect what they agreed to pay. It has been 4 months since the work was done. They don’t answer my calls or emails any more.Initial Complaint

I have an extended warranty contract with IDeal auto Protection #***********C.
Dated 07/21/2020 I paid $3,650. For the five year coverage.
This past January 2024 I made a claim for a suspension compressor claim #*********** Ideal supplied the part and Euro Tech installed the part at a cost of $290.,00. I have had numerous calls and texts to get Euro Tech paid . I get no satisfaction mostly no response or a run around , when I am able to get Shaun M on the phone.
I have read on line many complaints from other customers who have had the same experience with IDeal Auto Protection.
I have had to pay Euro Tech the $290. As I Deal Auto Protection is not honoring the contract that I paid for.Initial Complaint

On 04/06/2024, I e-mailed my "account executive" Nick B. at ideal auto protect that I wanted to cancel the warranty coverage immediately and to please refund me the remaining prorated amount in the account. Before I opened my account with Nick on 02/03/2022, Nick made it clear that I could cancel the contract at any time and be refunded the prorated amount on the account. On 04/09/2024, I spoke with a representative in the accounting department at ideal auto protect who stated that Nick had lied and thought that Nick no longer worked at the company. I advised the representative that the having the option to be prorated the refund was the main reason that I opened the account with Nick. The representative then became apprehensive and combative on the phone and did not care what Nick had advised me before opening the account. I asked the representative to please transfer me to a supervisor in order to resolve the issue and the representative refused to.
