I purchased an **************** Plan from Ideal Auto Protect in May of 2021 for over $1398.62. Account number **********. On October 4, 2022 our car broker down and we have been trying to get a response from this company since,We first reached out to you Tuesday Oct 4. No reply. We have sent several emails and left numerous messages with ************************* and ******************* with no replies.We finally got a hold of ****** Friday Oct 7 - he told us to have the car dealer contact them.**************** reached out several times the week of October 12. via phone. No reply Friday Oct. 14 I finally got an answer from ****** who said it should take 24 hours to get the response to the claim.Monday ****** said a claim inspector would be there that day. On Tuesday October 18, ****** also told me verbally on the phone that an inspector would be at the dealer on Wednesday the 19th . No one showed up.The **************** dealer sent the estimate 3 x to ******************************* and on Wednesday October 19, ****** replied via email that you will have an answer on the claim the following day. October 20.Today, Friday Oct 21, we spoke on the phone and you said the inspector would be there no later than 4pm. It is now 5:30 and the inspector has not shown up.We have been paying for a rental car/ and the dealer has been helping us with a car during this time, but we need to get this to a point of resolution. We are very weary seeing as this has been a horrible experience thus far.Initial Complaint

I have tried to collect the $100 maintenance reimbursement that I was promised for the service repair contract that I purchased in March of 2020. I have also tried to collect the $150 that claims specialist ************************* promised after they weasel out of an electronic repair to the stereo system of my *************************** $2200 in November 2021. I have numerous emails of correspondence with **** over 18 months now and I keep getting a different lie about the payment. So now, **** nor customer service will respond to my emails about this. We purchase an extended warranty for our vehicle with this company. We needed to get repairs done on the vehicle and Ideal Auto Protect approved the repairs and said they would pay for them. It has been 4 weeks and the repair shop calls me every day saying Ideal has not paid and they no longer answer their calls. Ive talked to Ideal and every time I do they tell me theyre going to pay it that day, but it never gets paid. The shop is telling me that I now have to pay for the repairs because Ideal has not paid and they wont answer their calls or call them back.Initial Complaint

In May I canceled my warranty for my car, because I sold my car, I paid $1500 for 3 years.I signed a document, which they told me I was getting less than what I am supposed to get refund, because I only have the warranty for 9 months and if you divide by 3 for each year is $500 so I should get back more than $1000, but they only want to return $800, I was supposed to get the money between 14 to 28 days and 3 months later I have not getting anything, I kept calling and they keep giving me different dates that I will get it, the last time spoke to them, I was told I was going to get it by the 15 of this month(August) and today the 23rd oh August and I havent get anything. Am tired of being played and probably because am a senior and woman they are taking advantage of me. Am enclosing the document that said that I would get my money between 14 to 28 days and how much am getting when it supposed to be more.Initial Complaint

On 04-26-2020 I purchased an Elite+ warranty for my 2017 ******* Elantra.Following protocol of having service approved, my mechanic KAZ auto repaired my vehicle on August 02, 2022.On 08-02-2022 was advised by *********************, Claims Specialist it takes 24 hours to submit payment As of 8-15-22 KAZ Auto still has not been paid by Ideal Auto Protect for the approved service.On 08-03-22 was told messages forwarded to billing department On 08-04-22 followed up with **** was advised by **** he will let his management know of situation On 08-05-22 followed us with **** again and was advised the check was sent out On 08-10-22 was advised if payment does not show up by 8-12-22 they will pay KAZ by credit card, On 08-12-22 ********************* advised he would reach out to KAZ and make payment On 08-12-22 ********************* advised he would let his billing team know and they will call shortly. Got approval that they were going to pay a claim at ********* for my care repair. They never paid for the claim. Every time I call there. They say that they are going to call ********* and they never do. They also give some hope by saying that they going to pay by the end of...... Day.. Week...By .... They keep giving me the runaround. I believe they have caller ID and sometimes they answer with only to say ..." Please hold and then go to voice mail.This is Horrible. On June 7 2022 I purchased an auto warranty from Ideal. Two hours later I canceled. On June 8 I received a document to sign for refund which stated that the refund would be given in ***** day. It is now 2 plus week pass their time. I have made several calls only to be told that I would receive on 7/22/22 than on 8/1/22 . Still no refund made another call on 8/2/22 only to be told that the owner will be contacting me sometime today. Also the website states full refund if u cancel within 30 days. It doesn't state that they charge a processing fee but they did.Initial Complaint

I purchased extended warranty for my car from Ideal Protect company, my cay broke down and I took it to the shop to get fixed. My car has now been in the shop for over two months. I have contacted the company on multiple occasions trying to figure out whats going on. I deal with ************************* (claims supervisor); he has told me on multiple occasions that my parts are being sent to the dealership but they never arrive and has also told me he's going to send me emails with the tracking number to these parts and I never get an email. The contract i signed states that after 60 days I can file a claim. The company isn't do their job.
