Highly disappointed with the level of care provided. The intake session was charged as one full visit, took about 20 minutes with only one of the two parties involved, which gave the therapist a one-sided view and the other individual never given the chance to provide their perspective. The therapist struggled with basic communication. Emails often went unanswered and literature or tools he promised to share were never delivered without repeated reminders if at all. Our sessions remained stagnant for months, as the therapist was unable to help us develop meaningful tools or strategies beyond introductory suggestions. When asked deeper or more nuanced questions, he frequently lacked thoughtful guidance, often offering little more than what one could find in a general online search.Toward the end of our time, things became even more troubling. The therapist abruptly canceled our sessions with only ever speaking to the original party present during the intake. Emails went unanswered and only the one party was acknowledged, which raises serious concerns about the therapists objectivity. It seems likely that one partys view was accepted at face value without verification or inquiry, allowing for a skewed and possibly damaging dynamic. Therapy should create space for both people to be heard and understood. Highly unprofessional and unethical.Additionally, the administrative side of Harmony Bay is a mess. The billing department is extremely difficult to reach and often over a month behind, making it hard to verify or manage charges. Transparency and consistency, two things essential in therapeutic and financial trust, were sorely ********** short, I would not recommend Harmony Bay Therapy for couples seeking meaningful progress, equitable treatment, or basic professionalism. For couples seeking thoughtful, balanced, and transparent care, I would recommend exploring other providers.

I found Harmony Bay Wellness though an internet search for an IN-PERSON provider for an adolescent. I was able to get an appointment for the next week. I was thrilled. I canceled another appointment I had because this felt more important. When I talked to intake, they informed me that they are not doing adolescents and they are only taking on virtual clients. Very disappointing- false advertising.

This company has insanely high co-pays when compared to other online physiatric services, and I am fairly sure they have double charged me at least once. My main warning to potential clients is their insane 3 day policy they just implemented in the beginning of 2025- where when you call to have a prescription filled, your prescriber has 3 business days to refill it. This is especially terrible for clients such as myself with **** who are prescribed stimulants- which (at least in **) you cannot request/refill early. Even when I call AGAIN and ask them about my prescription on the third business day, still nothing. This is terrible practice for a healthcare company to leave patients without medication for days.

My impression of Harmony Bay is they try and get you to the highest level of care that you're insurance will pay for. 2 visits, ******* charged to my insurance company and then ***** for self pay. They emailed me a bill, waited 1 day, then took it right out of my bank account. They won't make you am appt without a debit or credit card on file. I was going to use my *** to pay for this, but did not get the opportunity.

This medical practice misrepresented the services they are legally able to provide. A potential patient inquired about *********************, specifically regarding prescriptions for controlled substances. The office confirmed such prescriptions could be issued and required a psychological evaluation before moving forward with treatment.Based on that representation, the patient completed the evaluation, which was billed to insurance for approximately $1,000. Following this, the patient was automatically scheduled for ongoing therapy without prior agreement or consent.During the ********************* appointment, the provider inaccurately discussed the patients medical history, made unsupported diagnostic claims, and ultimately stated that neither she nor the practice prescribe controlled substancesdespite earlier assurances to the contrary. A license verification confirmed the provider does not have authorization to prescribe controlled substances.

I don't think this place even provides any mental health services- it literally is just a grift, and I got grifted. They start by advertising a psychiatrist that accepts new patients in person, but it's just a picture of a woman they use in every state they operate in. Obviously, that person is not available, so they set you up instead with someone who is not a psychiatrist. There are no psychiatrists with the practice. ******Notice all the positive reviews of Harmony Bay on ****** are fraudulent, and lazily done at that. They are from people who have only left one review, and when you ****** their names they all lead back to an obituary that predates the review. They literally resorted to taking dead people's names to generate phony positive reviews. (Also as an English teacher, I can see they are all written in the exact same weird voice with waaay too many dashes.)******

0/5 stars honestly. I went to harmony bay to seek help with dealing with my mothers abrupt passing amongst depression and anxiety. Our first two meetings were fine lasting the full hour due to me feeling the need to explain my life. After our third session though, as soon as we hit the 30 minute **** my therapist would say Is there anything else youd like to talk about? making me feel like shes not even interested/listening in the things im saying. I understand therapy is about yourself clearly but if i wanted to be dismissed by someone whos trying to help me out i wouldve just talked to a family member. I also think its crazy i have to pay FULL price for half of a session. Ive dealt with multiple therapists and the worst one was the one that told me to just do it after telling her about my lack of motivationi feel you can have a better therapy session with a friend than a therapist at this place. Another point of contention is the billing, ive paid everything off and im STILL receiving bills 9 months after stopping therapy, they sent me to to collections over 75$! Bunch of scam artists praying on mentally ill people, its a disgrace to mental healthcare truly.

I liked my therapist but the billing department was double billing me. I got my HRA representative on the phone with them all in one conference call. My HRA was able to give them the electronic check numbers and the dates that were cleared. I was able to give them the dates of which they also debited the same amount that came out of my personal checking account. I was told I would be refunded but every time I call I have to go through the same thing. I have not been refunded an the hold times are over an hour. Nobody there can seem to help me. I will be finding a new therapist tomorrow. I have paid them $500 and so has my HRA. I ended up reporting them as unauthorized charges to my debit card and I will be reporting them to my insurance and the BBB.

0 stars. I found my therapist through Psychology Today or my patient portal from my health insurance. The actual therapy was fine. I liked my therapist & found chatting with her was helpful. However, the customer service here is embarrassing - especially anyone in the billing department. No one was helpful, no one returned calls or emails. They've been sending me bills for sessions I already paid for - as verified by both my health ************** *** account holders. They claim they can't "find" the payments which were direct deposited. I had unrelated fraud on my credit card that I put on file for them and never updated it. Thank god - I got the impression that they would've been charging my full "outstanding" balance. I gave up and let them discharge me. I'm thankful that I went through my primary for medication and that prescription is handled outside of this company. Save yourself the headache and find providers that are not affiliated with this organization.
