This is a total scam. I contacted this service to help me get set up with a therapist. I did an intake, divulged private private information, gave my credit card info, my health insurance info, all for them to tell me that they do not take my insurance after telling me they did. I know they did this because they hoped i wouldn't ask and would end up being billed massive amounts. I am dissatisfied. They left me on hold for over an hour multiple times. This was such a disappointment and waste of my time. Save your time and get a therapist somewhere else, this is a scam.

Issues with this companies billing. Not only do they bill me months late so i cant pay but they wont use my payment source on file, again for months and then drop aggregate charges on me that I cannot afford to pay at once. Now they are charging my payment option on file whatever amount they see fit, billing will not answer my calls or call my back and its putting my finances at risk. This company has made my mental and emotional substantially worse, even with insurance it has cost me greatly, financially. For me harmony bay wellness is a scam and I am pretty sure that what they are doing in how they bill people cannot be legal. STAY AWAY

Did an intake appointment for med management, diagnosed and on the meds for decades. They billed my intake appointment as an $1,100 diagnostic psych eval and refused to prescribe the meds. Absolutely insulting, don't waste your time.

I had an intake phone call where the woman on the phone did not tell me that it would cost $150 if my insurance didn't cover it. She never once mentioned I would be charged this much. She told me explicitly that it would be a $30 copay. This wasn't even the therapy session - this was only the intake call, which is kind of insane. I have had great therapists in the past, and this just confirms that going through some larger organization rather than through private referrals is insane. Dear Harmony Bay Wellness, for god sakes, please train your people better. You're providing a service for people who really need to work on their mental health, not be harmed by your incompetent staff. I also was left on hold and hung up on several times in order to learn more about the charge. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Went through the whole 15 page intake paperwork and appointment. Waited over a month for a therapist. Got a therapist who canceled the first and fourth appointments within 15 minutes of the appointment. When she did come on the call she was very disengaged, not thoughtful about her responses or caring whatsoever. I spoke to her boss about my disappointment. She found me someone new two weeks later and the second therapist is a no show. I am totally seeing why these reviews are SO BAD. This company needs to be investigated. Very fishy.

This is absolutely the worst healthcare organization I've ever seen & I', in the field. The *** uses a questionnaire that equals one you'd get on ********* She didn't know how to submit an electronic prescription. When a script needed a pre-auth, (very common these days) which takes about 5 minutes to do, the pharmacy reported that Harmony Bay was completely non-responsive. 5 weeks in they still couldn't provide a therapist. All of this is bad enough, but add to it that they are unresponsive to calls & or messages. ******** who (sometimes) answer the phone, say they'll have someone contact you, but no one ever does. They have an online "patient portal" however, the portal does not let you send or ever respond to a message, cancel an appointment, etc. There are additional things they mishandled, but they've wasted enough of my time don't let them waste yours.

Dreadful customer service experience. First, I went through all the intake appointments necessary to make an appointment with a psychiatrist for medication mangagement and only to ultimately be told that there was a mistake with the information Harmony Bay provided to my insurance company ******************** and they do NOT have anyone closer than 90 miles away from me who can offer medication management services (which I would need to visit monthly). I had to then to go through the process from scratch with another company to find a medication management provider. I decided to proceed with Harmony Bay however for talk therapy (given that I already completed the intake process) which I utilized for 1 year before my provider left the company. When trying to find a new provider, Harmony Bay "discharged" me, kicking me back again to the intake process and stating that I need to wait 30 days before I can even initiate the intake process! I called to attempt to have this be corrected and that intake be waived (after all, I have been a reliable client for many months and it is not my fault my provider left Harmony Bay!) and was told there was nothing anyone could do to help me. Since Harmony Bay Wellness is in the business of wasting my time with no regard, in the future I will use my time to find another therapy service.

I had recently gone through a devastating event and felt I would need to speak to a therapist. After much research, I found one through Psychology Today website. I turns out this therapist worked with Harmony Bay. I had sent an email and received a call from what I thought was an associate of the therapist. It was a call center. The only thing the person I spoke to was interested in was getting methods of payment, telling me I had an initial interview and if I cancel in less than 24 hours, I would be charged ******, and on and on. I commented that this seems like you're just churning patients with more concern about money than the patient's health. He said "sorry." I asked where they were located. He said they are in 6 different states. I had said to this person I would like to see a certain therapist and was completely ignored. He tried to schedule me for the following Monday, I could not do that. Then I asked for Wednesday, that and the rest of the entire week was book. I was asked if I wanted to schedule the following week. So, I had no control over who I could see, wouldn't even be able to see anyone for weeks, all the while hitting my credit card and insurance. I told this person forget it - you're more interested in payment than helping me. This is nothing but a money making scam at the expense of people who truly need help. All sessions are teletherapy so you don't have the option of having an in-person sessions. Avoid at all costs.

This is literally the worst company I have ever been exposed to. Go somewhere else, anywhere else. I set up a therapist appointment and actually found a great therapist. I had 74 appointments scheduled and was very happy with my care. The company is horrible, but this particular therapist was great. I then did an intake to get an antidepressant. The person who did the intake required me to do a different program. It was going to cost at least $1,000 out of pocket, and I only ha ve $25 copays. So that is an absurd amount of copays. I told them I could not afford that and just wanted to stick with my therapist and get medication elsewhere. They canceled all appointments with my therapist. Thank god I am not suicidal, schizophrenic, or have some other serious issue. Can you imagine them taking away a therapist from someone who needs therapy to make it through the day? This company should not be working with a vulnerable population. My degree is in neuroscience. I have learned about the various things people go through. They need appropriate care. I am shocked by how this company runs their practice.

Our clinicians are highly trained to spot a need for a higher level of care. If a clinician recommends a higher level of care or intensive outpatient program, this is for the safety of the client as their clinical needs are outside of what we can address at the outpatient level. Self-harming and risky behaviors indicate an immediate need for a higher level of care. Our company works with every client recommended for a higher level of care, providing referrals and recommendations on the next steps. But once its identified that the patient needs a level of service outside of what is offered in general out patient services, we are unable to continue care at the ** level. This is standard practice for most behavioral health clinics. Patient can get frustrated at this at times, but we do this to stay compliant with laws and regulations.
