      I recently signed up with Select Home Warranty as a new homeowner, and I couldnt be more pleased with the experience so far. *****, my account representative, was incredibly helpful, patient, and informative throughout the process. He took the time to explain all the available plans and benefits in detail, including the VIP Executive Membership and how it could save me money in the long run.What stood out most was Henrys transparency and professionalism...no pressure sales tactics, just clear and honest information. He also walked me through the flexibility of the policy, including the transfer and prorated refund options, which really gave me peace of mind as a first-time buyer.Its rare these days to come across someone who genuinely cares about customer satisfaction, but ***** went above and beyond. If you're considering a home warranty, I highly recommend Select; and make sure to ask for *****!

      Select home warranty refuse to pay for equipment that was needed to fix a leaking washing machine. To me it was a cut and try issue. A service charge of $65 and then all parts would be covered.Customer service was horrible. I spent more than one hour with three different people that try to convince me to stay with the company.I close the account and the final nail in the coffin was a$75.00 fee to close te a cooutn and it would take three weeks for me to receive a prorated check for the 13 months upfront payment i had with them.Customer service and difficulty with handing claims are the two major reason that I would not recommend this company to any potential future customer.

      I will not recommend anybody to choose select home warranty. Those five stars I thought I left them for the technician that came out. They tell you one thing is covered and then when it comes to pan out, they say it's not covered under the warranty.

      My entire experience was terrible. I started my claim on June 14 and it took until July 9 to get the problems resolved. I had to call in multiple times to get select home #Warranty to do any follow up to get my claim resolved. I would not Recommend use using select home warranty. Their customer service is absolutely terrible..

      It took 2 phone calls and 2 follow *** before they finally decided to get a service technician out to repair my dishwasher, I had to explain it twice.

      This is, without a doubt, the worst home warranty company on the market.They lure you in with attractive pricing and false promises, but once they have your money, the nightmare begins. Every time you call, you're transferred to someone overseas who gives you the same scripted response: "Wait 24 to 48 hours for a reply." The reality? Youll be waiting much longerif you ever hear back at all.They lie about technician availability, delay service endlessly, and make it nearly impossible to get anything resolved. I've been waiting weeks to get my air conditioning repaired in the middle of summer, and they've thrown out every excuse in the book to avoid taking responsibility.Even if you want a refund, good luck. Their fine print ensures that the maximum refund youll ever receive is 50%, no matter how poorly they perform. Adding insult to injury, my home has two AC unitsbut they conveniently excluded the second unit unless I had purchased an "optional add-on." Who builds homes with only one AC unit these days? Its a scam buried in their contract.I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Its no surprise they aren't accredited by the Better Business Bureautheyd be drowning in complaints. I plan to file a formal report with the *************************** for deceptive practices and failure to provide the services they were paid ******** yourself the frustration, money, and stress. Choose any other warranty company. This is one company I truly regret ever doing business with.

      We purchased the Premium Plan in Jan 2025. In May we filed a claim for our garage door opener. Technician came, said it needed to be replaced, quote $630. Select only authorized $150 (depreciated value per section 8) and would only issue a check after we bought a replacement unit, sent in a paid invoice and would NOT pay for installation. After reading Section 8 again, I realized they would NEVER replace a unit nor pay for installation for replacement. So, I asked to cancel mt policy expecting a 50% premium return minus admin fee as stated in their contract. They will not cancel via e-mail and when I follow their telephone instructions to cancel by phone, I am left on hold for over 45 minutes and no one answers. (Tried three times). Still haven't been able to cancel. Their policies and procedures are not as "sold to you" and are designed to pay very little, if any for claims.

      Its easy to login the website and submit a claim online. Once the claim was submitted I received follow up emails and texts on progress and status. Their technician was prompt and organized. Appointment was setup timely and I was able to track once the technician is on the way. The technician was professional and knowledgeable. Their trade fee is reasonable. Overall I am very satisfied with their service.

      **** of a company. I was supposed to have roof leak coverage, but because the roofer had to remove tiles to get to the leak, it was not covered. ***!!! How does any roof leak get fixed without removing the tiles???!!! COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY on this policy. You will just be giving your money away to these people.Listen up, if you have this fake roof leak coverage, all it pays for is them to put glue on your tiles, just putting a band-aid on the problem.

      The advertising is very misleading. It is not $70 per service incident, it is $70 for the diagnosis, then you pay for parts and labor in addition to that. Also, emergency services do not work well if you choose your own provider. This is because *** requires that you obtain their approval prior to having a repair completed. This results in a delay when you need an emergency repair, so you have to get it done without their approval, then they can deny it, saying that you didn't wait for their approval. You get what you pay for and it is not a good service.
