      Filed a short term disability claim the end of May, STILL have not received ANY payment. They messed up my direct deposit checking account number and wanted to revert to paying by check. I updated the bank info, still no payment (it's been over 6 weeks). Now they're claiming my disability term will expire in one week-when they were INFORMED by my doctor that this was a permanent disability (kidney failure requiring dialysis).I have NO FAITH I will ever receive a dime from this ripoff, scam company. I think my company is getting some type of "consideration" from "The Rock" since my company doesn't care to get involved. My only payback was to cancel an annuity I had for $250K and transfer it to a REPUTABLE investment firm.If the disability payment amount wasn't such a joke, I'd launch a lawsuit.

      I gave a one star because no star was not an option. 7 months of dealing with this company was more than I needed to deal with. After numerous phone calls, emails sent and then them being loss by the company , 12 - 13 page faxes and 7 months passing by I'm still not sure the change of ownership has been completed. I hope I never have to deal with this company again.

      NEVER EVER do business with this mess of a company. My mother died dur*** covid - we kids were unaware of her life insurance policy and never knew about claims until I got a letter from Prudential 3 years later (3 f-*** years later)...I filed by fax, it was never received. I sent an electronic application to them to claim the $$ - OK, they say, it's gone to a different ***** may take a while....then another call: Ooops, its gone to unclaimed freight in **!!! I guess they either really hold onto our money, or they're a train wreck of a company....which is it? I still do not have the money my mom left me.Too bad I can't leave ZERO stars.

      We bought life insurance to protect our loved ones from financial burden and the ease of mind when we are gone. If this is your goal to buy the life insurance, then PLEASE do NOT put your loved ones through the agony of Prudential Insurance. Prudential Insurance is really bad, one of the worst insurance companies. They do not want to pay out period!

      Run! November I was policy holder everything was to be taken out I'd my dad's name and put in mine. Now its back in my dad's name yet again. Whole company just incompetent. Do your business elsewhere.

      Family should never have opened life insurance policies on us as kids. 30 years later, they take over a month (still have not received) my surrendered life insurance policy we desparately needed. Don't trust these people with your money, your lives - etc. Poor communication - ****, rude, and unhelpful. We paid them for decades and at this point it feels like a scam. The full family is getting rid of them.

      They seem to purposely drag their feet on approval so it takes longer than 45 days and makes it easier for them to deny coverage.

      they are ridiculous. its been nearly two months and they have YET to approve my mothers *** disability claim. we sent them everything they asked for THREE separate times. THREE. however after waiting and waiting, once we call to check theyll say they never received or lost her documents. and mind you, these have her SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER and her BANK ACCOUNT on them. how do you just lose important documents? very unprofessional AND fishy. they need to be looked into. and fast.

      Prudential customer service is just awful! They are just interested in cya. You may have a personable agent but if your insurance company is unresponsive and unfriendly, then why waste your money? Read the reviews-they will deny they receive your letters and then tell you the ability to reinstate a policy has expired. I repeat-they are awful!

      Ive been trying for a month to get a copy of a claim. Its just one continual circle of call this number send email to . Nobody can help me and it doesnt appear that they care. This kind of customer service is exhausting. Please avoid purchasing anything from this company.
