They use shady business practices to over charge. They use an ambiguous cubic footage that they won't allow you to verify. They don't honor quotes. The delivery took two weeks longer than originally quoted. And many of the boxes were smashed. The foreman was an arrogant human who tried to double charge things already paid for and tried to stop delivering when we pointed out we had already paid for them. If you want to pay 40 percent more than quotes and get your things two weeks later than quoted and deal with trash humans hire this company.

We booked through Amerisafe. We had no idea that they would be using an outside source. An unmarked truck picked our stuff up and charged us extra. Then they tried to sell us Fire Sticks. It felt super shady. We received our belongings a week late. The majority was broken or missing. Apparently there is small print that says they only reimburse $.60/lb. Our claim was $2500, not a lot but a lot for us. They offered us $360!!
I had a guitar amp that looked like it was cut in half! That won't even cover the amp.

Be warned. If you book movers, ask who they are outsourcing too because they will wash their hands of you and send you to Cobra who will break your stuff and shrug it off like it's nothing.

Do not use!!! Crappy company on every level . I was told so many things that did not happen. They destroyed so many items and I am still for my reimbursement check. I have called and emailed but no one will return my call. I moved September 23 , submitted for damages in July but still no follow up from Cobra. I am so upset with their lack of communication and customer service!

Cobra Van Lines did a terrible job moving our furniture. There was damage, lack of communication, and no customer service. If the rating could be less than one star I would have rated it one star.

The compensation they offered for the damaged parts was completely inadequate. They took nearly six months to respond to my claim and then offered virtually nothing.

Cobra Van lines is a horrible company and they did not respond to my contacts.

I was put in contact through AmeriSafe moving services, who I trusted because what I saw on their website and google led me to believe that they were a legitimate business. As it turns out, they have buried a lot of negative reviews and generated what appears to be fake reviews. When Cobra Van Lines came to pick my stuff up on 7/25/2024, I had to a pay a little more. Sure, I thought at the time, maybe my stuff was heavier than I expected. I paid and thought little of it, because I believed my stuff would arrive in a timely manner.
The problem is that it has been over a month, and my things have not yet arrived. Furthermore, I cannot find anyone to call me with an update on my things. I see a lot of people have lost property with Cobra Van Lines. I strongly encourage the BBB to conduct an investigation, as this seems fraudulent and exploitive.

I hired them and they broke my antique mirrored furniture, stole glass top to my liquor stand and stole most of my boxes.. They then sent a fradulent young man to my condo in West Palm Beach who asked me how much I was paying for the condo, proceeded to lie and tell me he owned the company???and his accomplice was a lazy kid from the islands that sat in the truck and was on his phone. I went down there and complained to him as I had a flight to catch and he said", You should have moved yourself." and continued to sit in the truck on his phone.i went back to the condo and reported it to the owner???? not true, and he said he would back his helper. They proceeded to steal my Bloomingdale's crystal, Henri Bendel china, step stool, brooms, iand boxes. The two that delivered at my destination were workers from a carnival and just pick up help.., They stole in front of me and disappear. I did not receive one penny from them with the insuramce I supposedly had and had been calling the company and getting the run around and very rude people screaming at me. I am a senior citizen that worked until I was 77 so I not senile and work out every day. I am very lucid and are amazed at what these movers get away with. I packed abut 90 boxes and got 15 and they disappeared. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM OR ANYONE THEY ARE CONNECTD TO.

In planning a move from ******* to ************ I dealt with ********* ****** ******** - A big mistake. They selected Cobra Van Lines and moving day was scheduled for December 18th. The Cobra crew filled 2/3 of the box truck, which was more than they expected per AmeriSafe calculations. The need for more square footage meant more money. Upon completion of the loading of furniture and possessions, I inquired about delivery. The response was "don't know". Following up with office personal there was the same response. The holidays had come and gone, then on January 4th they confirmed delivery the next day. By this point I had learned their procedure in moving long distance. My furniture had been handled six times - on and off trucks three times. This of course, resulted in numerous scratches, nicks and marks in / on the wood finish. As well there was a glass pane broken in display cabinet (It was noted by the delivery crew). Never heard back from them on damage repair. Couple days later I saw that the antique floor lamp's brass top was broken. Dealing with Cobra Van Lines was not a pleasant experience. STEER CLEAR of COBRA VAN LINES and AMERISAFE.
