      Cobra was subcontracted by a broker who hired them to complete my interstate move. I was provided a quote that I found resonable given other companies' estimates.However, on the day of the move, the movers show up and make claims that my motorcyle is "too big", my mattress is "too big", and the $3,700 @ 585 Cubic Feet I was initially quoted were now $6,700 @800 Cubic Feet.They threated to leave if I didn't agree with the new price estimate and I would lose my $1,100 deposit if i did.I refused to ship my motorcycle through them and made sure to take pictures of my belonging inside the trailer before and after they were unloaded. I tipped the movers as suggested in the contract and ended up paying $5,800 @664 Cubic Feet (without the bike).I then provided irrefutable evidence that my belongings occupied under 500 Cubic Feet, and even with ****************** advocating on my behalf and requesting a refund, they simply denied it.I am now being reinbursed by the broker but strongly urge anyone looking to move to never trust Cobra. Zero stars

      Im sorry you feel you had. A negative experience with your relocation. Your file was reviewed and we took the amount of space reservation signed and agreed to at the time of pickup. We also reimbursed the bulky fee of $150 that the broker had listed on your original estimate. You have more items on your inventory in you contract with Cobra Van Lines LLC than initially quoted which is also why the space reservation needed to accommodate your move increased.       This is worst ************** Ive ever experienced. They were given over $5000 deposit to move my things from ******** to *******. They sent a truck out and picked up my things shortly. I was anxiously waiting to find when the truck would arrive. Their reply was they have no driver so things were dropped in a climate controlled warehouse in ******. They refused to disclose where it was. I could have had someone pick it up and bring it in a rental truck. When everything arrived after dark I could not believe what I saw when I started opening it the next morning. In order to get it unloaded the driver had to have pmt of of addtl $3,128. Many items were damaged and missing. My things must have been placed in open warehouse where anyone could just walk by and pick up what they wanted. I was never able to talk to manager or owner of this business. I wrote a letter it was totally ignored. The contract said I had to have proof of ownership of any items lost or damaged. How could I prove I owned many of the tools and heirloom dishes that were broken or missing. I wouldnt hire these people to haul a load of manure for me. They should never allowed to stay business.

      Hello ******, we received a complaint back in September which was addressed with the actual customer on the contract *********************** requesting a list of missing items so that we could try and locate them. We did not receive a response from him. Technically **** is our customer but I am very sorry to hear you are unhappy with our services. There are a few reasons items go to a climate controlled warehouse before delivery but a few are that It is not safe to keep your items stored in a truck, a truck is also not temperature controlled, and we must offload from smaller trucks into the warehouse to be able to load a large semi trailer which is what is used for long distance deliveries. If you have not already filed a claim for missing or damaged items please do so by visiting www.CSIPROS.org . You have up to 9 months from the date of delivery to file your claim. If you have trouble submitting the claim you may call the number listed on their website and they will walk **** through the process. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

      I would give this company 0 stars if I could. This is one of the worst moving companies ever. They are hired out as third-party movers for ************************** in ** which is a broker. They didn't show up on the day they were to move me out of my house. They stated the truck broke down and they would come the next day. They showed up at noon to start my move of 475 miles and a house of ***** sq ft. in a 26 ft. U-Haul truck. They hadn't finished at midnight, so they were to come back the next day at 7:00 a.m. They showed up at 10:00 a.m. stating they had to wait on another 26 ft. U-Haul truck and a small, attached trailer to complete my move. They stuffed my furniture into the trucks and finished up around 2:00 p.m. ************* throughout the packing they kept asking for tips. I declined. They left lightbulbs, trash and cigarettes all over my yard. They damaged the hardwood stairs and hardwood in the living and dining rooms. When questioned, I was told to file a claim against the moving company. When they arrived at the destination to unpack my things, they again started asking for tips. After all was off of the truck, I discovered many broken furniture items that had been hidden in closets and in the garage without notice. None of the boxes were labeled as to what was in them and what room they belonged in. They packed heavy items on top of fragile items, which some were broken. The move was an absolute mess. The project manager ***** seemed to be the only one that actually tried to do a good job. It's a shame his hired workers didn't care at all. They did a horrible, unprofessional job. In the end I was told to file a claim for the broken items and was approached again for a tip. You would think after paying $24,000.00 and all the damage one would not even expect a tip. I will never use this company again and would not recommend them to anyone. Please use someone else,

      I am very sorry that is how you view the events during your relocation. I do not have any record of complaints in our email correspondence and your move was over 6 months ago so I am very surprised to see this. If you have not requested claims information please contract customer service to file a claim for any damages items. If you had called in real time or emailed your concerns to us we may have been able to assist you but I do not have any record of that in our system.       We used ***************** (a brokerage) which then hired Cobra Van Lines to move our granddaughters belongings from ** to *********. The pick-up date was October 27, 2022 and the pick-up crew was great. Estimated delivery date was from 8 to ********************************************************** to *********. The actual delivery date was November 26, 2022. The driver called the day before arrival and gave us a deliver time and was actually earlier that he projected which was perfect. He was very friendly and helpful. Everything arrived safely and without any damage at all. One improvement I would suggest would be to communicate more to the customer about where the shipment is, such as still in storage awaiting other loads, or in transit. A weekly text message or email would be extremely informative. Thank you for a safe and uneventful move. 5 Stars to the driver.

      PLEASE READ!!!! DO NOT HIRE COBRA VAN LINES for your next move. They are HORRIBLE and it is worth spending the extra money to hire a legitimate moving company. We were subcontracted out to Cobra Van Lines by BLVD without any prior warning. They lied to us on multiple occassions. They claimed our things were loaded or in transit several times, which they will try to deny. Our delivery window was from 8/1/22-9/12/22. We got our things on 10/3/22, several weeks late. If you don't call, their drivers give you no prior warning aside from 24 hours before. Their customer service is comically bad. They claim they know very little info except for what is written on the updates and even though they have the ability to communicate with a supervisor, dispatch or the driver, they make NO effort to get any more information for you than what is written out for them. They are truly lazy and incompitent. Once they got tired of our calls, they started ignoring them. I had to call from a *67 so they could not see the incoming call to get an answer several times. Our belongings were finally delivered on October 3rd, many of our belongings are missing, based on previous reviews it is clear that they are thieves. They will have us file a claim for a comical amount of money back for the items that they stole. In addition, after being extremely late and having zero information along the way from customer service, they try to charge us an extra $4000 than what we originally owed because of "warehouse costs" and because the truck is "too big" for our street, when we told them we had a permit from the city. Not only did they try to overcharge us at the last minute, but they request the money in CASH. My husband tries to give them a money order from the bank, which they will not accept. They are clearly doing something with the incoming funds, which should be looked into further. This business is full of frauds and criminals. I would NEVER recommend them. They should be out of business.

      Hello, Im sorry you feel youve had a negative experience but I have to say the information you provided is completely false. You were never once lied to by our company. In fact your name is not even in the contract. We did at one point have a route for your items which we unfortunately had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. That doesnt constitute a lie and we explained this to you so I am unsure why you seem to not know anything. If anything we have been very upfront about being delayed. To accuse customer service of lack of effort simply because there was not an update is absurd. If there is no update there is no information to provide to you wether you spoke with customer service or the owner it would still be the same information. There are many moving parts that go into the logistics for long distance routes so it is not as simple as you may think although I certainly understand your frustration as we were clearly delayed and I thoroughly apologize for the inconvenience. At no point did anyone ignore your calls, however, if you do call here and speak like that to my customer service they will be instructed to disconnect the line because it is not their job to be called names and disrespected and technically you are not on the contract your husband is. They are not incompetent nor lazy in fact the issue seems to be your lack of knowledge of your husbands contract. Had you read this contract you would know that shuttle fees (not warehouse costs) have been on their since your original estimate from the moving broker. If your husband did not agree to the terms he should not have signed and agreed. We also do not accept bank checks OR cashiers checks for delivery and this information was provided to you prior to delivery so we did not just suddenly demand cash from you. Payments accepted at delivery are cash, Postal money order or Zelle. No one ever said cash only. You also could have paid your balance ahead of time by credit card had you asked. No items were stolen from you nor do I have any correspondence or list from your husband claiming missing items for us to search our warehouse. If youd like to provide one Id be more than happy to make sure it has been searched. Regarding claims, this again has been the same coverage since you booked your move. If you were not happy with the industry standard coverage that is included for free you had ample time to purchase additional coverage through a 3rd party prior to pickup.       Your response explains why you have a terrible score on the BBB, awful reviews from customers & proves your lack of customer service. Our claims are NOT false. I did read the contract thoroughly, as did my husband, as did multiple attorneys. Unfortunately we hired another company and were subcontracted out to you. We didn't have much of a choice considering your movers showed up on our move out date without any notice. You did lie on multiple occasions (you can go back to your phone recordings). At this point, we are not looking for an apology from you. We want to warn others to never use you and to provide any information to hopefully put you out of business so that other people do not have to go through this experience. You are correct, my husband is on the contract, and he was SO upset by your lack of customer service and continual lack of information that he did not have the energy to even call for updates. Most moving companies provide updates periodically instead of making their customers beg for information. In terms of the shuttle, we explained that we could get a permit from the city to park the semi. We would rather pay the city than pay you another dime. We also never got money back for you being 3 weeks late, which is stated in your contract. The driver did demand cash. He did not want to accept a money order. Again, you have horrible communication between your drivers, which also explains a lot. We are missing a bookshelf and a round mirror (which was never marked on our inventory list) and about half of our glasses and mugs are broken even though they were carefully wrapped and packed. We have moved crossed country before and none of this has ever happened.

      This company was contracted to me by nationwide moving services which is a scam. they low ball quotes and collect 1/3 of the payment at booking. They then contracted with Cobra van lines - who i had not heard of before. I thought the team of movers from cobra (******) that came to pick my stuff up were phenomenal, while the corporate team is weak (weak is an under statement). The company has had all of my items for over 10 days, i have been in my new place sleeping on air mattresses and sitting on folding chairs. I have called nearly every day to check on the status of my items, and somehow no one is able to tell me when my stuff would be shipped or when it would arrive. It is frustrating as they have all of my home office stuff, my puppy's medication (i had enough meds for 10 days). I am currently sleeping on the floor, may loose my job because they are holding everything that was in my home office that i absolutely need. If you are hiring a moving company to reduce moving stress these guys are not it. Some of the folks on customer service are rude and do hang up on you Pay attention to the response the business gives below as it will be a good indicator of the type of customer service you will be receiving.

      We are very sorry to see you felt you needed to leave a negative review because you were given false information by a different company. This was explained many times but long distance deliveries go out on semi trailers and there are a lot of different moving parts that go into building a route. Your first date of access was 7/29/2022 so today makes 5 business days. You have called every day and we have explained to you that until we have a route assigned there is no information to provide you.       Our move was from ********** to ***** delivery date wasn't on time 12 days later then promise they came at 9:00 pm at night if I hadnt excepted I was told that my shipment would cost double if they had to return the next day they only wanted cash or money order the driver was rude I had to threaten to call the police he wanted additional monies then quoted left the furniture in the middle of the floor threw trash from the truck into my yard and street. As unpacking notice not only was items broken but missing they actually when through took expensive items including my special needs kids items I personally wrote on the boxes the items and room they was to be placed they threw the boxes all over they didn't bother to put any furniture together when I unpack either just paper or items in different boxes then I had packed...example all my Coach/MK purses missing empty box filled with paper shoes was with pots and pans kids game systems and games missing empty boxes/case boxes thrown in with wardrobe boxes all xmas gifts missing all my clothes is missing. I filed a complaint to the court(s) they refuse to answer to the judge(s). I have a judgement against them in ***** and ********** the courts have send them notification of judgement by mail, I had them served, certified letter to the old address and current address no response. I fax the documents to where I filed a claim they only wanted to pay $9.99 for one day being late. A representative stated to the private detective they have cameras in the warehouse no way someone would take the items the detective response is there is no cameras when the truck leaves the warehouse she disconnected the call. Just pay what you owe

      I am very sorry to hear you are unhappy with your relocation. ************** are never promised or guaranteed. It states on your contract how long we have to deliver and unfortunately if items do go into transit and you cannot accept delivery for any reason the driver does have to move onto the next location on his route and return to the warehouse so they would have had to charge a storage/re-delivery fee which is also in our contract. Our ******* will reassemble any furniture that was disassembled at the time of pickup but not any items that were not disassembled by us. If you had to hire a handyman to put them together you can submit a receipt with your claim for damages. If you did have any missing or damaged items please file a claim by visiting www.csipros.org .       Cobra van lines was great. I moved across country and had to store my stuff with them for two months. It was a challenging process because it took a few weeks after my first available delivery date to actually receive my items, but that was due to driver shortages. Although I booked through a broker, I stayed in constant contact with Cobra and they continued to remain nice, responsive, professional and understanding about the stress of the situation. I wanted to post my review because I read many of the negative reviews by other customers, but that was not my experience at all. I want to give credit to the way they continued to maintain great contact and service and none of my items arrived damaged, broken or missing. As inconvenient it was for me not having my items immediately, I can imagine how stressful it may be in their industry trying to deal with things outside of their control. Every person Ive dealt with at Cobra has been great - from they guys that picked up, the ladies with customer service and the guys that delivered. Thank you Cobra.
