This company is the worst. They moved me from VA to TX. When they arrived to load my belongings they gave me three different time windows and did not show up until 7 pm. When they arrived they told me my move amount had doubled and I had to pay more money than I had already paid. The delivery took about a week, but wasn't made by Cobra Van Lines it was made by a crew with a rig that didn't work for Cobra. I had to pay more money and an extra $400 to the driver because I was having phone trouble and he couldn't reach me even though he had another phone number he could have reached me plus the address and apartment number where the goods were to be delivered. He claimed he did not have that information the company did not give it to him. They said he had it. When my goods were unloaded, several boxes where smashed, broken open, several items were broken, clothes in a box and suit case where soaking wet.
If you are moving do not use this company they lie, take advantage of you, and steal you money.

The worst experience ever ! They take advantage of people over 60.
They show up to pack and then they inflate the prices after the deposit!
from original prices quoted for boxes, the original quote said 423 cubic ft.
Then they inflate that to 1000! They showed up with a 53 ft truck the opened the back
it was the 1st to come off, the space was 12% of the truck space they doubled it when they
showed up to packing colorado springs. Driver could barley handle the truck, no helpers
he hired 3 guys off of Craigs list even they said no way it was 1000 cubic ft. this company
need to be banned from moving. the 3 men hired of craigs list were more professional
than this company. We contracted with Amerisafe Mloving services, another scammer
original gave a senior discount when all was said and done these non professional scammers
cost you double. these people estimate everything they are part of COBRA they all need to have any licenses taken away.

George and Albert did an amazing job with our move. They loaded up their moving truck with furniture that was going to different destinations across the state. They organized and labeled everything properly, and they delivered each set of items on time and in perfect shape. They also did a special and unusual job for us. They moved a large and heavy piano from our old house to our new one. They did it with ease and they did not damage or scratch the piano or the walls. Movers were very impressive and professional.

This Company is Terrible! Do Not let them move your stuff?????? Unfortunately we didn’t even know that this company would be moving our items since it was sub contracted out! It took them 30 Business days to deliever our items then only to find out our bigger items was not in the truck ??It’s been over 30 business days and they have not delievered our bigger items they also stated if we didn’t get our items in the 30 days they would pay us money each day that the items was not brought to us. That was a lie! I also asked for the address of where my items were and they won’t give me an exact address unless I go pick it up ?? Move your own items yourself! Do NOT let them move your items

Cobra Van Lines has left me in the dark regarding receiving my items after a move. Both Cobra, and Amerisafe (the broker) are engaging in a racket. The broker asks for an inventory list. The moving company is GUARANTEED to argue with you regarding the original quote the broker gave you over the phone.
I listed furniture (and didn't add any at pick up). When asked about how many boxes (almost impossible to estimate), I said 30, but ended up with 50 at pick up. The movers (2 guys in a Budget Rental Truck from Denver) immediately argued with me when my stuff was ALREADY in the moving van. The inventory list said 30 small boxes, even though I never said "SMALL" to Alexis from Amerisafe. So, the movers argued about the sizes of the boxes. Also, I told the broker I had a sectional sofa. The movers said it was TOO BIG. A sectional is big by definition.

The quote then DOUBLED. Instead of 1990 it became 3918. To date I have paid 1900 and
I STILL, after 21 days, DO NOT HAVE MY ITEMS. AND I have not received one phone call from either broker or movers. When I called the broker, Amerisafe, Veronica was rude beyond belief. She kept contradicting me, did not listen to what I had to say, and constantly played
"GOTCHA" meaning that she tried to trap me in my words. NO APOLOGIES, NO RESBONSIBILITY Taken by the company. I am living in a new city without a bed, pots and pans, any furniture at all, and am told by the company, "We are working on it." REALLY? At the least they could give you a weekly update.

I will be writing a longer article for Consumer Reports about both Amerisafe and CobraVan Lines. After talking to friends and neighbors, they informed me that this delay business is
typical of many moving companies, as well as ALWAYS increasing the original quote given after inventory. WHAT A RACKET! It's the only business I know that is consistently RUDE to customers.

Cobra Van Lines LLC does not move freight. They create contracts to move freight. At no point in your move will you interact with a Cobra Van Lines employee. Instead, you will engage with contractors who, frankly, don't give a hoot about your belongs. For example: the people who picked up my goods arrived hours late, forcing me to sit at a storage unit until almost midnight. It took dozens of calls to try to arrange delivery day and time. You'd think they had computers? Apparently not. They broke or lost almost $1000 worth of property on a small move and offered $39 in compensation. You're better off just hiring your brother-in-law.

This company is truly horrible. I had a small load that they delivered six weeks after they told it would arrive. But that wasn't the worst of it, there were four pieces of furniture I cared about. One was a couch arrived with two legs broken off and one a chair arrived with a huge rip in the upholstery. But that wasn't the worst of it, I paid extra for special wrapping of a beautiful oil painting my hung in my parents entry way and they never delivered it. I now realize the special packing was a clear signal that it was valuable and someone stole it. The problem began when I signed a contract with ************************ The people I dealt with at National seemed great and thorough, advising me to specifically wrap an antique desk and the painting. But obviously they sold my contract to Cobra without advising me. If I had known they were going to pass me off to Cobra, I never would have signed because I would have checked with BBB and seen all these reviews. And the final insult was that Cobra's insurance company (CSI) offered me $96 settlement based on fine print in the contract. Literally no one showed an ounce of empathy for my situation. Do not use this company. They should be shut down.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. My belongings were anticipated and agreed to be picked up on 9/23 with a delivery date of 9/25 for a move totaling 500 miles. ************ on 9/25 I receive a text message from the driver stating he had a family emergency and could not deliver my belongings and that an office member would be contacting me. I received no followup from the office and after several of my own attempts for contact finally was able to speak with a representative. The representative replied only with we have no update on your delivery there has been zero regard for customer service or empathy, no urgency, a basic explanation for why they have been unable to provide an update or any type of offer for compensation to offset the additional expenses Ive incurred for basic living essentials as they held my entire lifes belongings ******. On 10/5 I was finally notified to expect delivery by 10/11 (19 days later). In addition they charged me for a shuttle following the semi truck as the driver felt uncomfortable with the area of delivery. Theyve had my new address on file FOR WEEKS with no mention of additional cost for another truck following a delivery they were unable to meet based on their own employees family emergency Ive requested to speak with management with no call back. It is evident that this company has held my belongings as ****** just to continue up charging me for a move that is now within an expense double what was originally agreed to. In addition, I have three diamond rings now missing, one being a family heirloom and irreplaceable. After doing research online it appears this company does this regularly as a scam and there are thousands of reviews posted to different review websites with an identical story to my own. This entire process has been mentally taxing, frustrating and by far the most horrific experience Ive encountered with any company. I will be pursuing this incident further with my insurance, and my credit card company.

Cobra Van Lines sucks!!!!!! My furniture was picked up on July 27. I was told that my furniture would arrive by August 5. My furniture was finally delivered on September 5. Once my furniture did not arrive by August 5, I called the office and was told that they didn't have a truck coming my way and they would let me know once they did. On Monday, August 7 I was told your furniture is on the way and would arrive in 3 - 5 days from the 7th. I was also told that the driver would call me the day before he was to arrive to tell me the time he would arrive. On Friday, August 11 I called Cobra because I hadn't heard from anyone. I was told "Oh we thought your furniture was already delivered." I said no ma'am. She put me on hold for 30 minutes only to tell me that they didn't know why my furniture wasn't delivered. I asked her if somebody would be calling me back with answers and she told me NO. I called back on Monday, August 14 to be told that the warehouse manager didn't put my furniture on the truck and I needed to call back later to find out when it will be shipped. I said ma'am I need my furniture. It had been three weeks and no progress. She told me according to the ********** of ************** they had 30 business days to deliver my furniture. On Monday, August 28 I called back again. I was told once again that my furniture was being put on the truck as we spoke and to call back the next day to get al of the pertinent information for delivery. I called back the next day only to be told that my furniture did not make it on the truck because the truck was full. I was told that my furniture was NOW considered to be a priority and they would contact me once a delivery date had been set. Imagine my surprise on Tuesday, September 5 when I get a call while I'm at work from the driver saying hey I'll be to your home at 1 pm. WE had to find someone to cover my classes for the rest of the day so I could make it home in time.Completely UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!
