1 starI feel bad for anyone that uses this company. I used Amerisafe which contracted Cobra. The estimate wasnt even close to what I actually paid. Was a small move from ** to ** and was given an estimate of ****. All said and done it was close to ****. Was told originally was going to take 4-5 days for the truck to get to my hime. 1 starI am currently working with COBRA through AmeriSafe and the bill of lading is over double what Ameri Safe quoted. We went from under $10,500 to over $24,000. Not only that, but they showed up over 48 hours after when they were supposed to be done with the move. They have us between a rock and a hard place, because we have to be out of the house! We have no retribution or ability to change providers. If we had gotten the actual amount there is no way we would have gone with this company. 1 starI usually write good reviews most of the time, unfortunately this time is just a mess and crooked shipment I got when I moved my furnitures from one state to another Couple of things to note down for next movers/customers 1. The amount/price that the company will quote you much different than what you expected When I initially got the quote from the *********************** my price was around $2450 and some change, but the day the driver came to pick up my furnitures from my ******** place the price hiked up to $3600 dollars out of the blue moon. I was very unhappy and very disappointed. I asked them to give me another truck in day or two but they lied and mentioned they next truck will be going next month which makes no sense, I know for a fact that truck drives moves delivery from coast to coast everyday with different truckers.2. Second of the the delivery was way too late 10 days later I received my furnitures when my original delivery date was 8.19.2023, I received my furnitures on the 8.27.2023. Whatever they say please do not believe they are full of uncommitted people that you going to deal with .3. Thirdly, my air-fryer was missing which was brand new I did not even open the box, and my 10 pair of shoes were missing. 4. Fourthly, half of the furnitures I received were either broken or scratch what a disappointment.Unfortunately I had no other option besides writing bad comments, I wish I can get my money back or at least get my missing furnitures back. This is ridiculously insane.I have learned my ****** and I will tell you this is my first and my last time getting Cobra or any other movers what an unprofessional service I have received.Thanks *************************Review fromXing X

1 starAbsolutely NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY! They are so unprofessional, they upcharge you, they try to hold you and your belongings hostage, unless you pay a inflation fee in cash. 1 starWorst move I ever experienced! They were consistently late without contacting us. They were supposed to start the job on a Saturday morning, but about noon called to say they couldn't come until Monday morning. My husband could not be there on Monday because he was starting a new job in ****. On Monday, they called around noon saying they were on the way. Showed up hours later, after five.The truck they arrived with was way too small for the job. It only held a 10 X 10 storage unit and part of the first floor furniture of our house. Yes, they were aware of the storage unit. They said they would be back to finish on Tuesday. Late in the day I called them to ask where they were. On the way, I was told. Then about 11 pm called to say not coming until Wednesday morning. Showed up after 10:30 on Wednesday to finish. The manager was very rude. Demanded different methods of payment every time they came. He threatened to stop the move and put my furniture out on the street at one point. They did not cover any of the flooring and scratched some of the wood floors. I asked them politely, to please be careful and try not to scratch them any further. They broke a wood flooring threshold - when I sighed and took a picture (for insurance purposes) he got mad and said I was so rude! He was also rude and short with two men friends we had called to be with me since my husband could not be there. We were charged overall $8,000 more than the job estimate. My husband had told the person making the quote exactly what size home and storage unit we had. We are not hoarders! Normal amount of furniture for the size home. When furniture finally arrived in ****, we had to pay the balance due in CASH! We had already paid by credit card, cashier check, and now cash. Don't use Cobra Van Lines - rude, not on time, not at all considerate. The manager treated me like "some dramatic, stupid woman".Review fromSally A

1 starHorrible horrible horrible. They are a fraudulent company. I moved fro never to *******, got a quote from Nationwide ( who apparently contract out to Cobra ). When they arrived to pick up my furniture, my estimate rose considerably, hmmmmm. That was only the start of my fun.When the furniture was to be delivered to ******* the driver called the day before, and without having even seen where the furniture was to go starting quoting "long haul carry" and starts. Well I live in a ranch so no stairs there at all. The driver was so so rude My son waited ALL day for the furniture to be delivered, WITHOUT any communication from the driver or the company. I made numerous calls to the company. Communication for Cobra van lines doest exist When the van eventually appeared the driver started demanding "long haul carry" of $300. That would have meant they would be carrying the furniture 375 foot. My son measured across the grass at 62 foot. But the driver DEMANDED the "long haul carry " fee. Heck you are hostage. So we had to pay. Then they did walk a whole 62 foot across the grass. And we have the video to prove it. When this evidence of this fraud was submitted to Cobra they suddenly agree to refund the $300 "long haul carry". Well it took multiple call sand emails and 4 weeks to get this refund.Do NOT use this company you will be scammed by them.If I could rate them a 0 I wouldReview fromKate A.

1 starAVOID AT ALL COSTS! Hands down the WORST consumer experience I've ever had. No communication-upcharged me $1200, took 33 days for them to deliver, both pickup and delivery drivers HARASSED and INTIMIDATED me, items missing and damaged. Pretty much every aspect of the move was HIGHLY STRESSFUL. I see that Cobra's response to all of these complaints is "am very sorry you feel as though you have had a negative experience with our company as we followed all procedures and provided delivery within the allotted timeframe and have been providing assistance for claims information." Despite their response, this is NO WAY TO RUN A COMPANY OR BUSINESS! I am going to be filing a report with the ***** against them for harrassment and for HOLDING OUR ITEMS hostage. These guys subcontract with ************************ so if you use them and Cobra Van Lines shows up to pick up your items, just say NO! BUYER BEWARE!Review fromTaylor H

1 starThey were only able to do half of the job so I want half of my money back. I was told my movers would take apart my furniture, load in, deliver, unload, and put the furniture back together. They did not take apart my furniture, meaning it took up more space, that they charged me extra for. Then when they arrive, they said they cant make it down our street even though I explicitly asked if they could. Its not my job to know if a semi truck can fit down my street or not, it is their job to ****** it and find out. After telling me they cant fit down my street theyre explaining to me that theres going to be another $1100 fee for a shuttle and storage. So I called customer service to try to find a solution, and all they did was talk over me and laugh in my face when I ask for a manager. Exceptionally rude, exceptionally horrible service. Was charged for more cubic feet than the truck allowed, was told a refund would be applied prior to delivery. Delivery driver arrived and was then told the refund would be made in check and that we owed the driver prior to unloading. Cobra was subcontracted by ************************ to move our furniture and clothes from *********** to *******. The move hs so far taken 4 weeks and they lost most of our belongings. Missing is a chest of drawers, end table, desk and 4 tubs of clothes. When we inquired to customer service, we received only a generic response to simply file a claim and that they cannot do any more. PLEASE do not use ************************ and PLEASE DO NOT USE COBRA VAN LINES.Cobra Van Lines LLC
