Purchased an extended warranty from Palmer. Auto repair shop contacted for repair and was given approval for repairs. However, when contacted for payment they were given the run around and could not get payment to do repairs. I was approved for a repair and a refund over 6 weeks ago and I have not been able to receive any updates regarding this matter. I've emailed and called the company however no answer from the calls. I purchased a *************** Agreement from Palmer on 9/26/22. They assured me at the time that if I sold/traded in the car I could cancel and file for any refund due. I paid on this agreement ********** December of 2023 I traded in the covered vehicle for a new car. I called Palmer on 12/13/23 to cancel the warranty and stop the monthly automatic payments. I was instructed on what info to send to Palmer in order to receive the refund due me. I sent all of that information on 12/18/23. I have called every couple weeks and still have not received my refund. It has been nearly 10 MONTHS!! Everytime I call they tell me that they will send an email to ****************** and someone will give me a call before they send the check. STILL NO CHECK! By my calculations I am due over $1000.00. I think that this company is a **** and I will never get the money that is owed to me.Business Response

I have been told on many occasions in the last 10 months that my account was being handled and so far I havn't received a thing. Once the check is cashed I will respond to this again.

Purchased two contracts w/ the *********************** on 3/8/2024 for which Palmer is the Administrator. I had 30 days to review the policy. When I received the policies in the mail and discovered that Palmer was the Administrator, I immediately called to cancel (4/2/2024). I was told that I would receive a code via email to cancel. I never received the code. When I called back to inform them that I did not receive the code, they then said that I would have to send in a notarized letter of cancellation (they would not reimburse for notarization) before the refund can be processed.I am still waiting on that $99 x 2 refund. I called today (09/30/2024) and was told that no refund was due because the accounts were cancelled for non-payment.Initial Complaint

I have been requesting an email confirming the cancellation of my policy with this scam company for 2 weeks. I contacted Palmer to cancel my auto vehicle service agreement on 2/12/24. I requested my refund check. I called again in June 13 2024 to inquire when I would receive my refund. I was told I needed to send a notice of cancellation with a notarized signature. I did so that day. I called on 9/6 to ask the status of my refund check. I was Given 3 different reasons on 3 calls that I would not receive a check. I was told to call ***** that drew the payments. ***** said Palmer would need to send an email for ***** to cut a check to me and to call Palmer. I called Palmer and was told the matter would be referred to a manager for resolution. This Palmer business is obviously a scam. Please assist me in resolution of this matter. On the 13th of each month, I was charged $90.00 for an extended car warranty. Palmer was supposed to pay for repairs to my vehicle. I took my car to ******** **** and **** ****** to replace my engine. Palmer approved $2485.00 for the engine replacement and 15.6 hrs of labor at 100 an hr. They didn't make a payment after the car was completed and they followed all the ways that they asked to fill out a claim and send the final bill for payment days ago. I have spent hours on hold they will not answer any calls and customer service gives me the runaround. I can't get anywhere with them. The shop is threatening to take my title if I am not paid. I am on SSDI and it is the only thing I own. Plz help I need my car to go to the doctor and hospital.Business Response
