      This office has over charged me and has admitted being at fault. Theyve failed to reimburse me and now my credit card company will not proceed with the claim due to them being non compliant.

      Subject: Avis Nightmare Didn't have car we reserved days ********* said must have been last minute.All they had was a truck with bad mpg.Truck was covered in snow, filthy, windshield washer didn't work.Omaha to **** would now cost us a fortune in fuel.Not enough room for our belongings.Said tank was full. Not full. Return full or $10 a gallon.Tire started getting low 20 minutes out in middle of snow storm, -11 and -28 wind chill.Changing the tire was a nightmare. **** and lowering tool were not in normal spot and manual did not specify. **** and tool were ****, almost impossible to raise. Took forever. 2 lugs stuck, over torqued. Trashed clothes, shoes, etc.The tire was well below safety specs and not safe for travel or snow. Spare air pressure very low. Flat would not fit underneath.$468!! No Way!!This truck had not been cleaned, serviced or checked at all!No walk around? Broken tail lens, rust, low fuel, etc.The other 3 tires had radically different psi.Bought windshield washer fluid. Reservoir was frozen with either a summer mix or water added. Spent the whole first day frequently stopping to manually pour fluid on windows in blizzard conditions.I do Roadside Rescue on the side and this replacement tire issue!!Ruined shoes, pants and coat with grease, slush...Man at Avis Mesa nasty.Have pics of fuel, truck, tire...$3246 charge for fuel.Worst experience ever!!!

      I recently rented a full size vehicle using the Avis app. At pickup, the rental location only had a mid size available. I was told directly that Avis systems are not able to ensure the proper vehicle class is provided.Given my need for a full size, I was forced to drive to the Avis at the airport (2 hour total round trip including time at airport) to swap my vehicle. The vehicle class was appropriately resolved at the airport location.Furthermore, the rental was partially booked using Avis points. Because of the error in vehicle class, I was given a new rental agreement and ultimately charged the full amount of the booking. I opened a case with Avis customer service and requested a refund to my credit card for the balance. They did not process the refund, rather they returned my points used and provided a free 2 day rental. Despite multiple requests and escalations, they did not refund the difference in bookings and did not satisfy my request for a refund. Ini my opinion, they have breached the original contract and will not do the right thing to refund the difference.

      Long time renter with Avis but no longer. Recently rented a vehicle for 3 days and used the prepay service they provide. Don't ever do that! My personal vehicle was fixed earlier than expected so I returned the vehicle 17 hours later. No partial refund offered not even future rental credit. Their customer service was horrible and sent me a copy and paste policy email. I'm no longer a customer for a company that chooses to steal from customers for services not provided. The vehicle was rented out again the same day so they were getting double rent for 2 days plus. Avis no longer cares about customers only profits.

      Rental # ********US2I had a free rental and when I booked on line it give me a rate of 112 tax included pick up Saturday and return Monday after I picked up the rental I was over charged and the customer service *** said that the price had change to 170 which is essentially a rip off and they took my points did not give me a free day. That was the first issue now Im being charged $250. The ************************** location phone is broken. I had to return the car early. They said they never got the car, but if they would have call me the day it was due back they wouldve known to go outside check And they know their phone is broken, but nobody cares enough to get it fixed so I called the one 800 number they did not relay the information to the ***************** location because the phone is broke. Im trying to get a refund and I can not reach anyone . My RSVP 22077725US5 And Im supposed to be a premier member, but I just feel like trash , not valued

      Our records show that you prepaid reservation number 22077725US5 in the amount of $112.07, we show that you were not charged anything over the prepayment and that the $250.00 was the authorization hold captured at the start of the rental. The hold was released on Feburary 15th, 2025, back to the **** card ending in 1507. If the hold is still pending on your account we recommend that you speak with **** as to the release time frame.

      ******** customer service where they do not offer any assistance other than being a robot reading a script. Avis stole rental days from me and refuse to acknowledge either a system issue or where my points went. Even though I have the terms and conditions of expiration of points they continue to provide multiple and different responses than what T&C states regarding their loyalty programs. This is bait and switch to encourage potential customers to use their service over competitors.

      I have reserved my car 2 months ago from Avis ***************. I had reserved a *** car to be picked up at 2pm in 18th February .I flied nearly 18 hours from ******. When I come to the Avis Desk there was a huge line and only 2 person was working. It took around 1 hour to wait for my turn at the line. The guy at AVIS kept me waiting like 15 more minutes and told me that he doesnt have any *** available and offered me a minivan. I was so angry but i waited so long and I had to accept this offer with unhappiness. After payment issues , we went near near the car and saw that there is no key on it. And I have go back to the desk again. And there was another lady there aI told the situation , and she told me to wait a little. I was really really mad and I told her I already waited nearly 2 hours and dont have any seconds to wait more. And then she rolled her eyes and told me " ok i will give a ***" . I was shocked and didnot understad why they didnot give it to me before.. However the *** that they gave us was not cleaned; the driver seat was not going forward or backwards. It was luck that my husband was going to drive it so he didnot need any move for the seat but this was a secure problem for a driver anyhow.I was do dissapointed about this . So I really need my money back and will never use AVIS from *************** again. *. *****

      **************** is the worst! Picked up vehicle at the airport, agreed to fuel service, at $3.02/gallon, only to find out they said we declined it, charged $9.90/gallon. Vehicle was half tank of gas but marked full which we didn't notice and didn't take a picture. Final receipt says out 8 out of 8, in 5 out of 8, charged $59.19 for less than 6 gallons of gas. We even told the attendant when we returned the vehicle it was half of tank when we got the vehicle but they would not honor it. Wait time is insane for customer service. Opted for them to call back but they never did. Opted to hold 2nd time, waited over an hour, only to be disconnected when *** put me on hold and never bothered to call back. Very poor customer service to say the least. Will never give them any business in the future. Rather pay more to go with Enterprise.

      Reservation 19214539-US-1 *******************************, ******* ******* 1/30/25-2/6/25, then extended to 2/9/25 as our flight was cancelled due to the weather condion at destination We opted for fuel service at the counter when we picked up the vehicle, agent advised $3.02/gallon, but put $3.13/gallon on contract. When we were charged such a high amount, were told by Avis customer service *** the price per gallon is $9.99 saying we declined the fuel service but it is clearly marked "agreed" on our contract. Also half tank of gas, marked full on contract. Just lied after lies.

      This company is by far the scummiest Ive ever dealt with. Their staff were incredibly inconsiderate and they do not properly manage their bookings and equipment.They did not have my pre-booked toddler seat and then expected me to somehow get to a store without one and purchase my ownIm not even exaggerating.THEN, despite removing the seat rental from our agreement, I WAS STILL CHARGED FOR IT! LUDICROUS!On top of that, the vehicle auto locked itself with the key fob inside, which is NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN IN THE FIRST PLACE! Thankfully my child was not inside, but I needed to get roadside assistance because of it.I received an email regarding this event going to be charged to my credit card, at which point, I emailed their custserv@avis account to dispute. I have followed up this email 2 more times over the course of the following 2 weeks. Im now waiting over 3 weeks for a response!Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.I will never, NEVER! recommend this ************** to anyone!
