It did take me 30 days but between documenting the phone calls between dealership and DOWC, and being persistent in calling I finally I was able to get through to the manager ************ Granted I was fuming but with respect I explained to him from A-Z what the dealership's shop manager was saying DOWC was saying. He listened to me and did not interrupt. Bottom line by the end of the day, he had answers for me and the dealership service shop called with the approval needed.

Ive had a more than frustrating experience. The team is unprofessional, lacking diligence, and has almost no sense of urgency. The price is $4000 for the warranty up to two years for only $6500 of coverage. Meaning after interest on the $4000 payment the warranty ends up only coming out of pocket for about $1000.The process is taking forever. My Jaguar purchased by ******* in *********, ******* in June broke down with multiple issues in December. Its is now mid January and my car has STILL NOT STARTED BEING REPAIRED. Its impossible to get in touch with management, I highly doubt these reviews. I believe they are fake. DOWC has now made and effort to make it sound like Im not having a bad experience and like it is my fault, I am responding by editing my review to keep any more customers for falling for their tricks. Even after the review they are still pointing fingers and not taking responsibility. The MAIN FACT is claim was started in mid December and like I mentioned my car is STILL not being worked on, today is Jan. 19 and my car has yet to be towed to the new repair facility nor is it being worked on. DOWC call to try and get the negative review taken off by remediation but there hasnt been an offer to remedy me at this time. They are very good at covering up their mistakes (or at least making it sound good because facts are facts). Currently debating with the service to get coverage on diagnostic fees that are surely covered in our contract with this warranty company. Do not recommend this service.Side note: I read reviews and I believe *********************** is making perfect sense on his review. GO TO NEWEST REVIEWS and look at all those customers who are unhappy. There is no way the rating is a 4.8 with these guys. All the research Ive done seems to insinuate they are using a team or domestic relations to post reviews for their company. Why would somebody waste time writing a review on a company they have never even heard of? READ THE REAL REVIEWS.

Customer continues to argue that we are intentionally delaying payment on his claim and the repair of his vehicle. He argues that his car has yet to be towed to a new repair facility and remains unrepaired. On March 27, 2024 an inspector was sent to inspect the vehicle. The inspector investigated the vehicle which, according to ********, was supposed to be at a repair facility. However, it was parked at an Auto Salvage lot. The vehicle was found in poor condition with a flat tire and parked in a mud puddle. When questioned, the facility operator advised the inspector that the vehicle had been repaired at a different facility. The inspector found the vehicle to be in good mechanical condition with no need for further repair. Moreover, **** tried to resolve the matter with the Customer in January 2024 and offered him terms in accordance with the contract he purchased. After agreeing verbally, the Customer returned the proposed settlement agreement in March 2024 with additional outrageous terms not part of the settlement discussion. ********* post is both misleading and untrue. Please remove his post accordingly.

I purchased a key replacement policy when I purchased my Infinity. I had to have a replacement due to a lost key/fob. They required a credit card receipt for the purchase which I provided. They approved the purchase for about $150 less than the receipt without explaining the reason. The policy states they will cover up to $800. The customer service is non existent and the policy is not worth purchasing.

What a complete waste! I was sold an extended warranty thru DOWC and it failed to even partially cover a claim on my *** 3 series. While the needed repair was not one of those listed as "not coverable", and while still within the contract timeframe, and although I provided all requested repair invoices, they denied my claim because they said they "can't confirm the root cause of the issue". Seriously? The root cause of the issue was that I had to have my car repaired; that's what extended warranties are for. Save your money and stay away from DOWC!!

As such, DOWC is responsible for processing claims and providing other administrative services in connection with such products. Customer purchased LEVEL 3 coverage under *************** Contract GPSV121208 on October 16, 2021, and accepted the terms of the Contract. On or about January 4, ****, Customer submitted to DOWC a claim for repair in connection with a radiator issue. Customer informed DOWC that the repairs were already performed. Invoices submitted by the Customer show that work was performed on the radiator on November 13, 2023 and December 18, 2023. As the Contract clearly states, this service contract does not cover, provides no benefits or payment for, and provider has no obligation under the terms and conditions of this service contract for the followingRepairs that are performed without the Administrators prior authorization. (Section 4, Page 5)(emphasis added). Furthermore, during a telephone conversation with Customer on December 4, 2023, during which he inquired into the process for filing a claim, **** explained to customer that after a diagnosis was performed on the vehicle, the repair facility would have to contact DOWC to go through the coverages to determine if the repairs are covered before any claims are approved. Nevertheless, ******** still had repairs done to his vehicle and tried to file a claim for reimbursement after the repairs were made, leaving administrator with no way to verify the root cause of the failure as the repairs were already completed. DOWC processed the claim consistent with the clear terms of the Contract and based on the express contractual language, the claim was denied.

The worst customer service EVER! No sense of importance to the customer or inconvenience or sense of urgency when resolving pertinent issues at hand! Promises of follow up calls to the customer unfulfilled. As the customer Im told to call them back for updates. Escalating to management is useless as management gives the same disregard for the customers need! The payment for this particular service is included in my monthly car payment which is received timely each month. I just wish the same timely manner was giving in providing the service that I pay for.

This is a bait n take company. I have a warranty and when my truck broke, they literally denied every single thing that was wrong. After a certified mechanic diagnosed my vehicle they literally asked for a picture and told the mechanic based off of what they THINK the problem is and denied my claim. Its no way a rock went between all the plastic my bumper and hit the rear of my radiator even the mechanic said that wasnt the case. This company just want ur money do not get a warranty thru them they also told me they would send a third party out to reassess the truck and when the dealer called they told them no they wasnt doing that. My truck only has ****** miles on it the radiator is covered under warranty and they pulled its damage to it out of their butts. This company is a big SCAM

Dowc are scripted professional scammers. I purchased a 2013 supercharged Audi august of 2022. Upon purchasing my vehicle I was only offered engine and transmission warranty which was told to me to cover any major issues with the two components listed above. Unfortunately for myself my *** has broken down this year around July/august of 2023. I am no mechanic so I instinctually call the dealership and they provided me with DOWC the warranty companies phone number. My initial claim I have had multiple representatives ask me what exactly is wrong with the vehicle and what went wrong (as if I should know, this is the set up so choose wisely how you answer their questions) I assume whats wrong with my *** explaining that I believe the engine is bad, maybe its a head gasket Im not sure and again I cant emphasize this enough I am no mechanic and the vehicle has yet to make it to a shop or even be properly diagnosed or broken down to verify a cause of engine failure. Furthermore I get the car to a shop I am familiar with they provide the warranty company with service records showing that I maintained the *** they sent a third party inspector who was caught in lies and was dishonest on 3 different occasions, And ultimately denied my initial claim stating that based on the video that was sent in and whatever the inspector wrote in his notes(again the suv has yet to be properly broken down or diagnosed) they believe Engine failure to be from a failed head gasket and negligence on my end saying that I said I was driving the car while knowing it was messed up when I never drove the car I said the runs! I have proof and receipts that the car was towed never driven. I now have a pending claim and Ive towed my ver to another shop and theyre doing the same weird scam like procedures all to just to not pay out. They said I dont have gasket and seals coverage. This is unacceptable. If they deny this claim I will have to take further action. Do not buy from this warranty company.

DOWC Administration Services, LLC (DOWC) serves as the administrator of vehicle service contracts and other products offered by dealers in connection with the sale of new and used vehicles. As such, DOWC is responsible for processing claims and providing other administrative services in connection with such products. The Customer purchased Level 3 coverage under a *************** Contract No. DOW247004 on August 27,2022. On or about May 24, 2023, the Customer contacted DOWC stating there was a rattling noise coming from the vehicle. The Customer did not follow up on this claim and continued to drive the Vehicle. On or about August 8, 2023, the Customer stated to DOWC that he did not take the car to a repair facility immediately due to lack of funds. **** asked if the Customer was having the same concern as the previous claim, and ******** stated the problem had become worse and they could no longer drive the vehicle. Pursuant to the Contract, SECTION 4 WHAT THIS SERVICE CONTRACT DOES NOT COVER (See Contract, p. 5), provides no benefits or payment if the Customer fails to use all reasonable precautions to protect the vehicle from any further loss or damage. It wasnt until September 1, 2023, that Customer had taken the vehicle into a repair facility for diagnosis. The repair facility stated that the engine needed to be replaced as a result of a head gasket failure. Pursuant to the Contract, SECTION 2 WHAT THIS SERVICE CONTRACT COVERS (See Contract, p. 3), *************** are only covered if required in conjunction with a covered repair. In this case, the head gasket was the cause of the vehicle failure. Head gaskets are not a covered repair nor are the repairs in the Customers claim covered because, according to the repair facility, those repairs were caused by the head gasket failure. Customers claims were carefully evaluated and adjudicated consistent with the clear terms of the Contract. Coverage was appropriately denied. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the Customers concerns.
