Very poor communication and customer service standards. After waiting over a month for delivery, I was unable to coordinate with anyone to schedule the delivery because it is a, remote area. I was initially told I would not be able to schedule delivery and there was no estimated delivery date or expected timeline for my delivery until it was received in the final warehouse despite the product being in the possession of the delivery company. When the item made it to the final warehouse and I had not yet been contacted, I reached out and was told the delivery could not be scheduled but I would be contacted at a later time for this to be scheduled for the week of the 11th, which was two more weeks out. When I still did not receive a call by the next week, I called again and was told the week of the 18th, though a delivery could not yet be scheduled. I asked repeatedly to be contacted by someone who could give more information, but I was never contacted by anyone from metropolitan until this issue was escalated numerous times over several weeks and I was eventually told the Vice President of customer service, ******* ******, would call me. I was under the impression that she was going to call me right away. After waiting 10 minutes while also trying to work full time, I called back and was on hold for more than 20 minutes before I was told she would be calling me soon. Two hours later I still had not heard from her and again called, I was told at that time that she would be calling me within 30 minutes. I made sure to be available. After more than an hour of waiting, she finally called, though I was in the middle of work and asked if she would mind to hold. After ************************************************************************************************ When I text back that I had waited quite a bit longer than 10 minutes, she sent a very rude text message. I have two orders from the same company that shipped at the same time. One order contains two barstools and one order contains one barstool. Metropolitan Warehouse delivered the two barstool order on 2/12 after weeks of scheduling and rescheduling but only delivered ONE of the barstools. Told me they only received one even though all of the packing informations shows box size and weight for two barstools. Then the second order for one barstool was scheduled to be delivered the next week but they cancelled my delivery saying they never received the barstool from ***** Decor, even though ***** Decor and all of the detailed tracking shows that they receive the barstool in early January. They are failing to deliver two barstools of ours that they clearly have in their possession. Its how been two months and my husband is going to move forward with filing with a small claim action as they have been zero assistance.Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery Corp

Based on my experience with Metropolitan Warehouse, this is a company I will never use again. I ordered a media center from Houzz to be shipped to my home. The address provided was correct, and the item was shipped. Unfortunately, this company delivered the item 20 houses down to the wrong address. As of this review, it has been almost 72 hours since it was delivered, and it has yet to be moved to my home. On Friday I contacted Metro Warehouse from the order number they gave me. I was told promptly nothing they could do and I would need to call Houzz to rectify. After talking to ***** and Freight Carrier several times, an order to have it moved was finally started with Metropolitan Warehouse. When I called on Feb 26, I was told it would be another ***** hours before setting up ************** the object. This is a ************************** front of my neighbor's house. I advised that it would be snowing and raining tomorrow and would likely ruin the wood furniture. Metropolitan Warehouse has shown no urgency to rectify its mistake. We purchased our chair on 11/13/23 through ****** and purchased the white glove service ($375) and it is sitting in our unheated garage still not set up or delivered. We never signed for this chair and it is extremely cold here and will be in -30's and -40's next week. I do not trust this chair is not damaged or will work properly after sitting in our cold unheated garage!! We had two people show up on 12/20/23 to set up this chair, one that stated she had a hurt back and could not lift anything. They said it would not fit in our bedroom through the door??? We told them then we want it in the basement, they said they cannot do that because it is too heavy and she can't help! They could not put in our basement because she can't lift the 400 lb chair? However they managed to put in our garage? When they called again to reschedule and we asked why they did not just put where we asked the dispatcher stated the people reported in was too big to go down the stairs?? The stairway is open and a full size couch went down no issues at all - these employees are not truthful! We have been rescheduled 3 times to have them come and set up this chair! Monday 1/8/24 almost 3 weeks of it sitting our garage, we got a call that they would not make it today (they were never scheduled to come on Monday 1/8/24 that we were aware of as the Thursday prior they called to confirm they would be there on Wednesday 1/10. They said they would be there Thursday 1/11/24. At 2:48 on Thursday 1/11/24 they called and said they cannot come roads are to bad from *********** to our house in ********* but I just drove the same roads and they are fine - literally minutes before they called. Again horrible service, not WHITE GLOVE and we do not want this chair and have requested it to be returned and refunded, to include the additional $375 for the white glove service, fees, taxes, etc. Do not use this company they give your company a bad name as they are very unreliable.Metropolitan Warehouse Delivery Corp

ATTENTION! ****** will deliberately trying 1st attempt out of your agreed time window and Recharge you delivery fee.worst delivery company handling bed frame from Castlery.the 1st appointment is scheduled on Wed 8:30am - 12:30pm. i made phone calls before that to leaving notes after 11am - 12:30pm. Their customer service ignored. ****** deliberately texted me on 7:28am and asked if they can deliver in 20min, making that 7:48am, 42 min before the time we agreed.Now Castlery need to charge me $100 for delivery reschedule fee even before I received the actual product. This whole drama made my shopping experience unpleasant and infurious!!!Apart from that, even after you confirmed the delivery date thru phone call to customer service. they will have machine auto call you EVERY DAY before delivery!!! so annoying!!! If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. Cancelled my delivery 3 times & absolutely refused to make things right. After spending hours of my time wasted on the phone when I refused to accept yet ANOTHER delay in delivery.. they called me back later that evening to tell me they refused to deliver my couch at all. They scratched our brand new hardwood floors because they wouldnt take the items out of the boxes. They had placed the boxes on asphalt and the cardboard picked up a small rock and was embedded into the cardboard. They proceeded to drag the cardboard box and rock across our floor scratching it very badly. I got a quote for repair as requested and they refused to pay the cost. They tried to cut the quote in half and also stated that they would not pay me for my time and wear and tear on my car for driving to the location almost 2 hours away. Two delivery representatives delivered a bedroom set to my home. The order was for white glove service, and my experience was anything but that. A week prior to the delivery, I had the whole interior of my home painted by a painting contractor. I spent thousands of dollars to have my house painted, and the hallway and an area of the bedroom now have marks on the walls. I don't expect perfection and can understand a couple, but from the ones that I just briefly counted, there are at least 8 different places on the walls that will need to be redone due to the delivery. In addition, they could not find 6 screws that they needed in order to put the bed together. I can't confirm whether this is correct or not, as I didn't look through all the furniture boxes to ensure the screws weren't lost somewhere in the boxes. I am now left with a bed that has not been put together.Finally, the two men left the hallway, stairs, and bedroom a mess. There was styrofoam everywhere--including on the walls. In addition, they left two ***** wrenches laying in the middle of the room. I have attached pictures of the status of my home when the two men left.I reached out to the company to be compensated for the damage done to my home, and they wanted me to spend more of my time and resources to provide them with a claim form, detailed (full view) photographs of the area of delivery damage and/or videos (which I had already provided), as well as TWO repair estimates for further review/investigation and to determine liability of this matter.
