      This delivery company is the WORST! I think this is the first review I have ever written in my life!! I ordered a dresser from anthropology in Feb and when they came to deliver it they rammed it into my door frame and left a gash in the frame and the door. *** delivering didnt give a F, said its just paint and not to worry?!?! I made a claim with the company and never heard anything. Fast forward to today, ordered another dresser from Anthro, was given a time frame of delivery today from 10:30-2pm. Got a text at 9:30am that dresser was on the truck for delivery. They called me now at 11am to say they cant deliver it today because it wont fit on the truck so they are coming Thursday and they could not give me a time so now Ive had to rearrange 2 full days this week to accommodate them for a delivery that will take 5 min?! Will have them leave at my front door and my husband and I will take it in because I dont trust them not to mess up the walls or floors. Beyond frustrated!

      I am reviewing the Metropolitan out of **************, ********. TERRIBLE!! I had paid extra to have a mattress delivered upstairs to the bedroom. It took them two weeks to deliver the mattress and they would not take it out of the box so that they could get it through the door and upstairs. I was even willing to sign a damage waiver. They took the mattress away, leaving us with no bed to sleep on. They were also terrible drivers, the truck had terrible brakes while backing up down a hill, and they spoke no English. We could not even communicate.

      Absolutely incompetent. They couldn't deliver a simple table top from ** to VA in under a month. For no valide reason they scheduled, rescheduled and cancelled delivery dates 4 times. They are getting 1 star somply because 0 wasn't an option

      Not only did they deliver a completely wrong item. They showed up at the house hours later while I was at work. I was in contact with my delivery driver and let him know I would be in my way back. I got there within 5min and they were already gone. Since then, they have declined my calls to get the right package delivered. After customer service got ahold of the drivers, they told their own customer service team they would not be delivering the package. Cant believe these people are still in business.

      To be clear Metro Warehouse is a distributor of furniture for multiple companies. AFA stores, Anthropologie among others all use Metro Warehouse ( among other distributors).They are an extraordinarily disorganized operation. - After paying a store like Anthropologie a significant fee for white glove delivery ( I assume they get a cut of this but not full fee) one expects stellar service. --- They brought the bed, dropped a few pieces on my wooden floor ( luckily no damage). --- One of the guys seems high or wasted - he was falling asleep in my bedroom while putting together the bed. --- Asked for my help half way through to find them extra tools which I gave to them --- After they left I discovered they did not assemble the bed correctly, They never installed two support beams - which I only realized because I looked at the pamphlet after finding unused screws. --- Called them to ask them to come back and fix it. They lost the support beams that they never installed and couldn't come back and fix it. I sincerely hope someone from the actual furniture companies reads these reviews. Please stop using c*** distributors. It gives your stores a bad name. The most likely scenario however is that this review will die on the BBB website like the other 132 reviews posted here.

      Literally the worst delivery service ever. They will not schedule a time with you- they schedule without telling you. Then they change dates without telling you- show up a day early - and I wasnt there.I have cancelled plans to be at home and they arbitrarily change the date. Worst customer service I have ever received. Will never order anything again that uses this company. If I could give zero stars I would.

      Absolutely terrible service. Does not call to schedule despite stating they will - will only assign a time that is immovable despite phone calls. Provides inaccurate time-frames especially with notification from drivers. **************** does not or is unable to contact the dispatch or drivers to affect delivery times. Consistently unable to resolve recurring issues.

      Horrible customer service. Horrible ********************** service. DELAY after DELAY after DELAY!! Clearly I am not the only one here as there are 130 other 1 star reviews. Hanging up on me three times. Set up a delivery appointment to only cancel the delivery appointment without notifying me. WOW! We ordered through ***** Decor who scheduled the delivery with this company and they gave us a DHL delivery tracking number and then found out that it is actually through Metropolitan Warehouse and Delivery who hangs up on their callers and uses very broken english. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY until they fix their issues!

      I placed an order from Houzz on 2/12/23 for a bed for my child. The order supposedly shipped on 2/13/23 with an estimated delivery date of 2/15/23-2/27/23. On 2/27/23, I called Metropolitan Warehouse to find out why the delivery status on their site changed from 2/27/23 to 3/1/23. Nobody called me to notify me of the change or anything. Then, the person on the call said the status got updated to 3/3/23 and I would get a call on 3/2/23 for a delivery window. I asked why do they keep pushing back the date. They said its due to system inconsistencies. On 3/2/23 I did not get a call from them confirming the 3/3/23 delivery. I called them. They said (and their site also said this) the delivery is updated to 3/8/23. I let them know how frustrating this is and how I feel that they are crooks for keeping my bed I bought for my son that they did not pay for. I feel like I am getting the run around with no resolution! I was told the account specialist is supposed to call me back on 3/3/23. I am EXTREMELY frustrated. I feel like Metropolitan Warehouse does not care about the customer. I was told that they only drive out to my neighborhood once a week on Wednesdays. That sounds like a logistic problem and they are pushing that off to me the customer. I will never ever use this company again if I can help it. HORRIBLE service.

      Metropolitan Warehouse, the only reason why your company delivered the furniture on 3/4/23 is because I kept calling and talked to customer service and sent an email. I had to keep pressing the issue in order to get action from you to do your job. I was the one that requested your manager to inspect the package because of the many bad reviews and given the lack of response from you.
