      I purchased a new home build that used American Standard hot water tank. Less than 3 years from the build, the hot water tank leaked. This product was under warranty with American Standard. Within the first week of submitting the claim, American Standard approved the replacement of the tank and informed me they were locating a replacement. Multiple follow-ups and weeks later, I was informed no distributor in my area had the product and it would need to be shipped from their warehouse in ********** - this would take up to two weeks to receive. I was suggested to call back in a couple of days to obtain tracking information. I called back to obtain tracking information, and was informed their warehouse did not have any products available. My next option was wait or I could purchase a replacement and then obtain reimbursement. I purchased a replacement unit and emailed management the receipt of the purchased product, however, their response was the item cost more than they allowed and would only refund a certain amount of the cost. Four weeks later, I have still not received reimbursement. When I call to check the status of reimbursement, I am informed that **************** cannot provide status of reimbursements.

      Our Liberation walk in tub that cost us over ********* is less than 2 years old and because of a faulty drain/bolt we had a continual leak but could not find where it was coming from over time until our downstairs bedroom ceiling was so damaged we had to take it down and then our contractor found the leaky drain. Our downstairs bedroom light cover was full of water and our flooring ruined. We reported it to American Standard and they sent out a repair man who replaced the drain. American Standard will not take care of the downstairs damage this faulty drain caused without us first going through our home owners insurance which we have a large deductible, then our insurance would go to theirs. As if we haven't had a bad enough experience we are having to jump through hoops just to get what they should have gladly offered. To be honest we are scared our home owners rates will be raised if we go through them as we were instructed by American Standard. I wanted to share our experience so that others will know how hard it is to get paid for any damages their products may cause. thank you

      After several calls, and hours of time; on 2-28-25 in a 31:30 recorded call, the case person agreed to send out the replacement parts for both toilets that was shown to be leaking from the bottom seals. This was discussed in length to ensure it wasnt the top seal leaking; by cutting water off, flushing; so all water was below the top of the flush valve. A week later, they finally send notice they are starting to send replacement part, but the notice did not show 2, xxxxxxx; item Lowes *******, but they are sending me 2, *******; which will not fix the problem, and will also cost the consumer more money in delays as water just keep running back into the tanks. Ive noticed a large amount of these purchased, when they have a 10 year warranty. This toilet was new at ****** before my pros discount at *****, this is one of the highest lines they sell; and instead of support Ive lost for months in water bills, a very rude staff that has a superiority complex talking down to its consumers; then instead of sending the parts stated, try to pull some quick switch crap; which cost the consumer more time and money. Ild like for the state attorney to keep this complaint in case future investigations of consumer fraud are needed. Its very hard to believe 2 same items bought just 2 years ago, both go out right at same time, and this isnt known faulty product manufacturing. Then offering false warranties they bully and intimidate to get out of. As a 100% disabled veteran, this is not a matter of money on 46 bucks at the local store. Ild been better off and saved buying them over, versus the water losses Ive taken; this is about principal; the law; and holding companies like this accountable. Some info had to be placed as x, as bbb blocked review thinking its personal info.

      I bought a toilet from **********, American Standard 4149A. It has leaked since day one. Every time that I think it is fixed it begins leaking again. Don't buy this brand "American Standard" or "LIXIL" a ***************************

      American Standard has failed to reimburse us for a toilet under warranty even though we provided everything they required. We are still waiting for a check. We had to replace a toilet they no longer sell. Our plumbers are outstanding. They did everything possible to attempt to fix a dysfunctional toilet. We did finally get a new toilet that does work well, but have not yet received our warranty check. This process started in May and it is now September! We have all the emails regarding our communication with C at American Standard. They have not held up their warranty agreement.

      We had a walk in tub/shower I stalled by American Standard in January 2024. Three days after the installation was completed we had water leaking onto the floor. The installers broke tiles and reinstalled them broken. The tub itself is small. I could go on. As of today August 27, 2024 american standard has not fixed the issues, have ignored most my calls, and have been rude, untruthful and certainly unhelpful.I would not recommend this company to anyone ever for anything.

      I have a faucet which is cracked on side and leaking and is with a lifetime warranty, and the company American standard will not replace my faucet. I sent the picture and a video showing the defect product under life time warranty. This company is a fraud, Life Time Warranty means life time warranty period, This is fraud company.Case # ********

      I paid ******** deposit for a walk in shower because the old one was leaking. The salesman knew we had a leak in the current shower but he still encouraged my husband and I to buy a new on. The installers came in to do the job on 11-19-2023 and when we told them there was a leak in existing shower they said they could not do installation. I called American standard that same day to cancel the transaction and have been waiting since to hear from anyone in their office. I have received 2 calls from **** in financing but when I call him back he does not answer. The salesman who tred to sell us the shower refuses to talk to us so it seems that none cares senior citizens are being taken advantage of.

      DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS. I PURCHASED A WALKIN *** IN JULY, WAS GIVEN A CREDIT BECAUSE JOB TOOK SO LONG, ONLY TO FIND THEY WITHDREW AN EXTA $300 FROM MY ACCOUNT, THE ***** FOR THE DRAIN CAME OFF IN 2WKS, THEN THE *** LEAKED AND THEY HAVE STILL NOT SHOWN UP TO REPAIR MY CELING AND THE *** CAN NOT BE USED BECAUSE THE DRAIN WILL NOT CLOSE THERE HAS BEEN 2 SCHEDULED REPAIR APPOINTMENTS WHICH HAVE BOTH BEEN NO CALL NO SHOW. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPAN

      Horrible customer service, useless sales people, lazy installers, epic wasters of your time. They also breached their contract with me and I had to fight to get my deposit back. I was refused several times when asking to speak with a supervisor. Glad we didnt get the tub, it would have definitely been more headaches. Steer clear of this company they are incompetent at best.
