      We had a shower installed by American Standard, with the agreed start date of September 12th, 2022. The week of the project's start date, the company delayed twice and when they finally did get started, work was interrupted twice due to mis-ordered parts. When the project was finally completed, on October 2nd, it turned out the shower was not installed flush with the flooring, leaving huge gaps in the glass that allow water to leak out. Given that we were replacing a leaking shower, we feel the situation was actually made worse. We payed over $11,000 for this shower and feel absolutely gutted by trusting American Standard with this project. It has been a week without any follow up and all I can do is warn anyone away from this company.

      I contracted American Standard for installing a walk-in shower on June 15, 2022 telling the agent that work should be done by the end of July 2022, because in August I have visitors coming from Europe. I was assured that there was plenty of time for the work to be done in time. Everything looked OK when I received on June 23rd the confirmation that the installation is scheduled for July 14, 2022; but on July 13 when I called to find out the time the workers will come next day to do the work I was told that it won't be any work on July 14 and the installation will be rescheduled August. I told the agent that this was completely unacceptable and I was cancelling the contract. The agent told me that the deposit will be returned in about a week. When I called after two weeks I was told that somebody will contact me. The guy that contacted me told me that there will be no refund. I called the billing department and asked to speak to a person in a higher position in the company an was told again tat I will be contacted by such a person, but nobody called me. The only person whom i could speak to was the agent at the billing department, obtaining always the same answer but nobody called me back.This is pure robbery to take money without doing anything and causing at the same time a lot of inconvenience. American Standard is an unreliable and un-respectable company.
