1 starWorst company EVER!!! Its been a month since tub was installed, *** its still not working. Terrible customer service. Useless salesperson. Terrible installation, BUT THEY TOOK OUR MONEY. Its the worst experience ever. I would like to have this POS tub taken out. A whole month it has sat there . . . Useless. Not one time have they apologized or offered any type of compensation. Stay away from this company. The sales person was awful. Of course none of this will be published. But. . . He was terrible after he got our money. The rest of the service was the same. A total ZERO!!!!! for being even slightly happy. Awful. Awful. Awful.Review fromAngela J

1 starDo not call this company! I spoke with one very rude man and one that was extremely professional. I was just looking for information and got the hard ********** to do the consultation. After telling them not now, I would call and schedule it when more convenient seeing my husband travels alot for work and wanted him here for the consult. They call at least 2 times a day everyday! I have told them repeatedly that were not ready to move forward and its always oh I understand but it's just the consult we want to schedule. What part of I don't want to schedule anything right now don't they understand? Then when I do answer the phone and try to explain this they hang up on you! Highly unprofessional and after some reviews I've read on the work done I would never allow them in my home. I've blocked their number numerous times they just call from another number! DO NOT CONTACT THIS COMPANY!!!!Review fromHeather R

1 starOur sales rep was fabulous. We signed with him because he said we could be installed within 2 weeks which was important because we are getting our house ready to sell. A representative from the company promptly called us and scheduled our job within that time frame. The following week we were called by the company to pushed back our install due to lack of materials. We agreed to push back 2 weeks. Around that time they called to push us back and additional 6 weeks because they lost their contractor. Because of this we had to go with a different contractor to get the job completed within our time frame. We contacted our sales rep who told us we would be getting our deposit back because American standard is the one who violated the contract by not completing the work as agreed to . We have made numerous phone calls and get nowhere when speaking to representatives other than for them to tell us it is in our notes and our account that we should be getting a refund but no one can connect us with someone who can actually make that happen and has been going on for months. We have also reached out through Facebook messaging and had no response as well as through their customer portal leaving a written message there and also getting no response. Our sales rep is claiming it's beyond his ability to fix other than he's leaving his own messages with corporate but he agrees we were told we would get our deposit back from corporate.Review fromMark E

1 starMy shower is constantly dripping...but don't worry, if I want silence all I need to do is to call American Standard customer service. My problem is quite simple...I need a new cartridge. Unfortunately, AS outsourced the manufacturing of the cartridge that I need and that company is no longer in business. My first call with the American Standard call centre yielded nothing...despite my having all of the manuals with part numbers, it was to no avail since all of the numbers had since changed and they couldn't find anything. A few weeks later I got connected to the AS rep for my area, *******, and our correspondence was cordial and seemed productive. But then...nothing. I followed up with an email and then a telephone call and nothing...no return messaging at all. Like I was vapour. Or garbage. I then reached out to a local plumbing company to sort out what I could do. They contacted their AS rep. ** their credit, AS did acknowledge the problem and send a replacement Grohe valve unit to replace my AS Verdi/****** unit. Plumber from the local company came out with the new valve for the install and immediately noted a problem. The valve was way too big - requiring a 6 inch thick wall instead of a standard interior wall. The plumbing company reached out to AS to figure out a solution. Nothing. ***** Zip. Crickets. So now...instead of replacing a $100 cartridge or installing a replacement valve for a few hundred dollars, I now have to buy and replace a valve which will require retiling around the hole (since the trim plates are no longer that big) which of course requires removing a shower door to get at the tiles to do the work. My cost: $3500. Problems happen - I get it - but radio silence from AS customer service is galling, torturous, and infuriating. And so, dear reader, this is my only recourse...to offer this note in an effort to help you avoid an inferior product and even worse customer service. Honestly, this is so bad it could be a country song.Review fromSam F

I will never again be purchasing from American Standard. Utterly abysmal customer service and delivery. I had a bathtub scheduled for delivery and the third party delivery service they hired refused to deliver the tub to my apartment, even saying that curbside delivery was "difficult." They dropped the tub off in the parking lot, refused to remove the wooden blanks and excess tape, saying "We don't do that." I had to personally purchase a hand truck and carry the 150+ pound tub on a ramp, through the basement, in an elevator, and then finally into my apartment. American Standard refused to take responsibility for this incident, asking me to contact the delivery service for money back. I never paid the delivery company- I ordered directly through American Standard and had no control. Furthermore, I ordered a drain for the tub from their website. When it arrived, half of the parts were missing. American Standard refused to reship a new product overnight, now taking over 3 days to arrive and immensely delaying my project. They had offered to ship "next day air" but ended up not. Truly a 0/10 experience. So SO disappointing.American Standard - LIXIL Americas

I do apologize for your inconvenience, it appears when you had called in to get the replacement drain that Fed Ex had already picked up for the day and couldn't ship the same day. It appears that we did then ship it the next day, but there was a delay from Fed Ex which caused it to arrive the next day.Review fromJohn G

Unexpected and disappointing service. As a long time promoter of American standard products because of their long reputation, I will not recommend their products again. Dealing with customer service through ********************** was atrocious. Non responsive and put through circles without any resolution, and assistance. Dealing with customer communications agents like ******** in *********** was disappointing. No longer the lifetime warranty and quality as advertised.American Standard - LIXIL Americas

Dear ****, It appears that there was some miscommunication on the model number of the toilet you have in question. After reviewing the photos of you toilet you have the **** Champion One-Piece toilet which has a limited lifetime warranty on the ceramics and a 10 year warranty on the parts. I did place an order for you for the requested flush valve that appeared broken in the photos you supplied. I apologize for the miscommunication.Review fromDaniel T

I hired American Standard to install a Walk-In Tub at my residence. The installers showed up on May 16th, worked to May 17th and ended up having to call it a day. They tore my house apart without talking with me first. At the end of the 17th I pointed out many flaws, bad work, holes left in my walls, bad dry wall work and was told that they would come back to fix everything. It's now June 6th and the installer does not return my calls. The sales manager does not return my calls. I have called all departments and left messages and when I do get someone on the phone I am told "Someone will call you back", but they never do. You would think that a company with such a long standing name would try their best, but this is not happening. Also, when we signed the contracts for this installation, we were told many things that were NOT factual and the installers themselves told me that the salespeople do not think about many things and just try to sell the product. Now I am sitting here with a messed up house, after paying $9000+ in a deposit and no one calls me back. BUYER BEWARE. These tubs are not cheap and I can't even use the bathroom because the installation is incomplete. My next step is to dispute the charges and launch a lawsuit against American Standard for this debacle.American Standard - LIXIL Americas

ABB has designed a tub that has cut each of my daughters. We have photos and emails between ** and the company. Unfortunately, after we found out, the tub was fully installed with new plumbing and tile. On video camera, their technician stated that the only fix is a new installation of a different product. American Standard has refused to accept this or offer other solutions. We're stuck without full use of the tub. Please help! Beware of buying their products! Warranty is c*** if the company has no intention of backing the products.American Standard - LIXIL Americas

1 starWe had a walk in tub installed less than a year ago. We were assured only American Standard employees would be doing the job. Sub contractors came to do the job with a supervisor from American Standard. On day TWO the supervisor went back to ********** leaving an inexperienced crew to do the job. They kept breaking parts and going to the hardware store to get new parts. There is a drain piece that only American Standard has. That piece had to be shipped to ** three times. A the day job turned into three weeks. Last month we had an inspector come out for a home refi. He discovered that both the tub and the toilet which they removed and reinstalled are leaking into our crawl space and ruining our sub floor. I have called American Standard several times. I have the parts here, but no one to fix my house. Its beginning to smell like sewage in the bathroom. How am I supposed to get this problem resolved? I would like them to remove their product from my house, refund all of my money and floor. Worst purchase I have ever made.Review fromMS H
