I purchased a Miele stove. It is malfunctioning and I filed a complaint in August 2022. After service techs came 4 times, they agreed to replace it in early October 2022. They have not followed through in any way, and repeated queries only result in them telling me they can't give me an update. We bought the Miele Dishwasher for our new home, a part broke within 6 months of first use and Miele is refusing to cover the part and repair under the warranty - this part is built very bad and should be replaced by Miele free. we have 2 dishwashers with the same issue we have reached out to Miele numerous times and they are refusing to be helpful.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Miele did reach out to us, and because this part broke when it was touched by a toddler of 18 months it is considered damaged by the customer and they are only offering to provide the parts free, however we must pay for labor which will be pro-rated.
A technician was scheduled for Feb. 1st, instead of showing up he called us that he is in the area but does not have our parts and will order it for us and re-scheduled to do the repairs on Feb 9th.
In the meantime, we received a bill for service for Feb 1st, including a travel fee, + an estimate for the repair to be done on 2/9 which includes another travel fee.
We are concerned?!
1. why was the product design so poorly that a toddler can break the cover?
2. it is designed in a way that it is irreparable or replaceable - it can only be fixed by taking part the entire dishwasher door and replacing the whole soap pod unit - is that right?
3. why were we not told about a travel charge? and why is there a travel charge?
4. why did the technician schedule a time that he could not come with all parts and held us up at home?
5. and why would a company charge us nay labor for a phone call? (Never mind that the timing on the bill is a plain Lie!)
We hope someone can properly and honestly address and resolve all of our concerns.

The liquid bleach dispenser on my top-of-the-line Miele clothes washer does not work. The appliance store where I bought the washer contacted Miele and they in turn left me a message for me to call a specific telephone number and case number to call back. I had hopes that I would be talking to someone with knowledge of the issue. It seems that I am not the only one who has this issue with Miele washers. It's a defect.I did call Miele back. I got someone who did not know any technical details of the machine and just ran through a script. They said someone with more knowledge would call me within 72 hours. I purchased a M6160TC Microwave in March of 2019. The microwave never worked properly, with intermittent electronic glitches which would prevent functioning. I worked with a Miele authorized repair person for over a year attempting to resolve the issues, during which he replaced essentially all significant components of the microwave. The microwave still does not function and the repair person says he is no longer remaining an authorized technician because Miele's support was not adequate. I took it to the second repair person (Miele authorized) and they have tried to fix the microwave for over a year. Now they say they cannot repair it and Miele will not stand up for the defective product.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:The company has never reached out to me. The appliance at issue is and has been with an "authorized" repair shop for 2+ years without resolution. This entire time Miele has had an opportunity to do the right thing and stand behind their defective product, but has still failed to do so. I would appreciate hearing from Miele and am available for discourse, but Miele's statement here is not accepted until such effort is actually made by the company.

I purchased a CM6310 countertop coffee maker in 2015. In June 2022, I had an issue with a faulty brew unit and after trying to trouble shoot with Miele Corp, I agreed to pay the flat $360 to send it in for repair. It arrived back in working condition around July 20, 2022. I noticed that the drip **** was asking to be emptied after every cup of coffee which was unusual. By early Oct, I received a 'insert drip tray' fault making the machine unusable. The machine was used infrequently since the time it was received back. I have reached out to Miele Corp via phone and email several times to trouble shoot the issue but they refuse to assist me. I alway receive some canned response. Instead of helping me, I'm told I have to pay another $360 to send it back in for service. If it was serviced correctly the first time, I shouldn't be having this issue. This is a $2000 machine and the customer service support has been horrible. All I want is to use my coffee machine again.Business Response

Issue with Speed oven. Took a BBB complaint # ********* to get Miele to temporarily fix the issue. Only after I filed a BBB complaint, did Miele contact me to resolve. Less than 12 months later, same issue is happening with Speed Oven. The Oven currently does not work, I can not use it. Miele now is saying that their warranty on warranty repair work is 90 days. It's a $10K Oven, and I was without it for over a year, while I fought with Miele to come and fix their issue the first time. I asked for something in writing that says it's only 90 on warranty repairs. They told me to look at their website. The disconnect, is the repair that needs to be repaired again, was under warranty and now they are not warranting their own work.Business Response

Built home in 2019 in *********. Purchased Miele built in coffee maker from Appliance dealer in ****** **. 18 months later had major problem. ****** Miele to get service. Took them three weeks to call me back to inform no auth *********** 200 miles. ****** store where purchased and asked for suggestions. 3/22 per instructions told to call local appliance repair (*****)and zoom with Miele. Was determined needed ceramic valve and told to order $299 part. Did so and also paid $250 for service call to install. Same Error message. Part did not work. I called Miele several times to see if I could send machine to them for repair. They said no. Again called store where purchased and they recommended another appliance repair which is 90 miles from my house. Not certified by Miele but familiar with product. Had builder remove coffee machine and delivered to Elite Repair in ******** **. They said part was not working. ****** Miele and asked for part to be replaced for free. Would not and had to pay $210 again for same part. Also another service fee of $400. Miele has a responsibility to have service techs available in US if they are going to sell product. I now have spent close to $1,000 in the hopes of using my two year old $4000 coffee machine.Business Response

I purchased a Red Miele Dynamic U1 HomeCare PowerLine Vacuum Model SHCE0 in 2019 with a 5 year manufacturer's warranty and 10 year motor warranty. The warranty was impressive on paper. The telescoping wand broke apart, and I just want to get it replaced. Other than the wand, the vacuum still works. Miele so called customer service reps told me that they cannot help. They referred me to an out of business Miele rep in our area. When I called back and asked for them to please just send out the replacement part, they referred me to a Miele rep in another city an hour away. I called that rep, and offered to send them a photo of the broken part and a copy of the receipt so that I could simply get the replacement part. That rep said no. They asked me to drive an hour away, with the entire vacuum, not just the telescoping wand, leave the vacuum with them for a few weeks while they "analyze the issue and send in the broken part to Miele." Then they'd call me back to pick up my vacuum, and maybe they could get the replacement part. Seriously Miele! You are asking a customer who spent over $600 on a fully warranteed vacuum cleaner to drive for 4 hours, lose use of their vacuum for several weeks, and then MAYBE get a replacement $81 part???? NO WAY!!!!!!Please mail me the part that you are contractually obligated to provide.Business Response

We purchased our apartment in 2019 and at that time did a full gut renovation and purchased a washer dryer from Miele which our contractor installed. In March of 2020 our renovation was completed, and the pandemic started. Due to the fact that we are both senior citizens we were afraid to move into *** until the pandemic was less dangerous. We finally moved in September of 2021. We used the washer dryer several times before realizing that the washing fluid dispensers were not working at all. We contacted Miele and were told that since our machine was not used for a long time, that we had to purchase a special fluid from them and arrange to insert that fluid to unblock the system. When we finally received this fluid, we followed the instructions, but it did not work. We contacted Miele service who sent a technician who worked on the machine and was unable to fix it. Thereafter we had seven different visits but various Miele technicians and dispite having replaced multiple parts they were never able to fix the dispensing system. After seven visits where we wasted wholde says waiting for their techs to arrive, and then watching them try to fix it wothout results, they are now telling us that they finally have the right parts to fix the machine. But we must pay them for that. The dispenser for the detergent never worked from day one, and several of the technicians who came to our apt can substantiate that. In spite of that Miele is now telling us we must pay because our machine is out of warranty. This is an outrage and a complete failure of customer service for a company that we thought was one of integrity and honor.Business Response
