      Bought Miele Dishwasher 2021; it has been a total nightmare with no support from the manufacturer. I have had the Miele Dishwasher ($2500) for 2 years; first of all, yes and IF its working it cleans fabulously. The problem is it breaks about every 2 to 3 months and a repairman comes and does nothing to stand behind the product and charges me a minimum of $200 to look at it And tell me nothing is wrong. Perhaps I have a ****** but God bless you if get one because you will be stuck with it. My ongoing issue is an error called waterproof. It begins to scream and will not shut off until I turn it off at the breaker box In addition, the seal is terrible. I have to lean into it to get it to close and about 1/2 way through a wash, I often have to go back hit OK and close it again. Buyer BEWARE! I am currently searching for another one. This one will go in the trash as one of my most expensive mistakes - I have asked repeatedly to speak to a supervisor and NO ONE is ever there in leadership and No one ever calls back. TERRIBLE product

      I purchased appliances from a Miele retailed with the promise of a $1000 rebate from Miele. I have submitted all required paperwork and received phone confirmation from two employees stating that my claim is valid yet my rebate continues to show "on hold" for an invalid serial number. The rebate is $1000. Rebate claim number is UQVVXJNXPL.

      I had a problem with my Speed oven because from time to time when we use the microwave it would spark . Apparently some of the metal inside was defective and created this spark We called Miele for a service Technician ****** came and said that some parts have to be replaced. It would cost about $500 and mostly tor labor to remove things to get to the defective part.After the repair he said that it took more time and now it would cost $600. After he put it back together, the spark went away but the microwave started making humming sound as if something was loose inside .We called him back and he tried to figure out what it was. When he opened it I saw a piece of tape that he put inside the machine that he thought was going to help fix the machine. He removed it . He tried to do something but could not make the humming noise go away We called Miele again to have a different technician come out and re assess whats wrong with the machine. Technician ****** came out and he wondered why technician ****** took the machine apart. According to technician ******, the part could have been replaced in a very simple manner requiring a special tool that he has. At that time I really felt that ****** had OVERCHARGE us for the repair . ****** could not fix the problem because it seemed that the humming noise is coming from inside the unit that ****** had taken apart. The microwave is still making a humming noise and Miele is refusing to come back because according to ****** s last visit its not something that can be fixed. I request Miele to replace my speed oven that they damaged. No one from Mieles customer service can be reached. I have tried calling several times but I only got bounced around from one department to another Here are all the numbers I have tried calling ************* ************ Miele accounting ************ ****** cell ************ Ovidiu cell ************ This issue has been going on since Sept 2022 Thank you Peter415-297-5185

      I had purchased some Miele appliance (built-in panel-ready refrigerator and fridge) from ***** Monark Appliances. I learned that Monark who is a retailer for Miele had defrauded me by selling me used units as 'new' (confirmed by Miele technician that there were a lot of hours of usage). I was then contacted by a Miele representative who said they would do something about it and maybe replace the unit to resolve this whole mess. The serial numbers are ******************************************" RH Refrigerator) and **************** (Miele 18" LH Freezer).

      I have an ongoing problem with a Miele KM **** induction cooktop that is out-of-warranty. Miele has not been helpful in obtaining a service technician. We have been trying to get the appliance repaired since July 2022. Fortunately, my husband is very capable with repairs and has already replaced two main components based on the error codes. The cooktop, however, still shows the same problem. The components cost over $1400. Miele customer service is non existent. If you do "chat" on their website, you are communicating with a bot and are referred to Just Answer", for a fee, of course. If you receive a response from Miele, they claim they tried to reach you by phone, when there is no record of such a call. Their email responses appear to be written by bots and refer you to the same number as on their webpage, where there is no one there who can actually help. They tell you to try to request a service call again, but will also state that there is no one in your area available. We have requested the number to talk to the technicians that appliance repair companies are allowed to call, but so far have been refused. Miele does not stand by their products, especially if you are past the warranty period.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Miele ************* contacted me on 9 February.  During the conversation, the agent became confused because I have Miele appliances in two homes in different locations.  My husband and I each have Miele accounts, in order to help keep issues with the appliances easier to manage with Miele.  After giving the agent fully clarified information about the accounts, the agent said she would call me back before the end of the day.  She never called back.

       

      i subsequently called the regular customer service number.  The individual who answered could not tell that ************* had called and could not find the case number.  She did see that there were many note in the file associated with my phone number.  She gave me a number to the "dispatch" office to try to reach a Miele technician the next day.

       

      Coincidentally, the Miele certified technician with whom we have been trying obtain a service call since July 2022, agreed to meet with us in-person, the next day.  At that time, he determined that the parts sent by Miele could not repair the cooktop and that the cooktop was, in fact, not repairable.  

       

      The following day, my husband called Miele customer service to arrange returning the two parts, costing over $700 each.  Since one part was purchased in the previous two weeks, Miele agreed to provide a refund, provided we pay return shipping.  The second part was purchased last August after we first tried to scheduled the Miele certified technician to make an in-person service call.  Miele stated that they would provide a refund only after reviewing written documentation from the technician, indicating that he had tried to repair the cooktop, but it is not repairable with the provided parts.  We have been in contact with the repair technician, but he has been too busy to provide the documentation yet. He has stated it will be forth coming.  
      We will be satisfied once we receive a full refund for both Miele circuit boards.  We are awaiting refund from the first circuit board and we are awaiting documentation from the Miele certified technician for the second part.  Miele could waiver the documentation requirement, and if that happens, we will immediately return the second circuit board.

      Miele did not initiate contact with me since their last response to the BBB as they stated that they would.  However, I took the initiative to call their standard customer service number and requested to be connected to **************  The agent mistakenly connected me to the office that handles extended warranty.  This mistake was fortunate for me.  I was able to speak to a manager who provided me a return authorization for the faulty part.  That second part for which we are seeking reimbursement has already been shipped back to Miele.  After the return for the second part is processed and the funds returned to me, the matter can be resolved.

      My Miele vacuum broke within the 3 year warranty. I filed a complaint since they would not respond or address the issue. The first complaint was recently closed since the company contacted me saying they would replace the vacuum. They did not follow through and replace the vacuum.

      I purchased my Miele installed coffee maker in 2021, I have had nothing but problems with it from the beginning. My latest problem is that when the machine goes into the descale mode, it repeatedly says empty the drip tray even when it is completely empty. I have gone online and this seems to be an occurring problem that Miele is aware of. The solution online is to make sure all the contacts are completely dry and that the area under the drip tray is completely void of coffee grinds and completely clean and dry. It takes almost **** hour to degrease machine as the in and out of the drip tray is completely frustrating. I had Total Appliance come out as the authorized dealer to fix this and they refused to replace the sensor as they could not prove this was the problem. The technician was so rude and was not helpful and very argumentative. He really could not be bothered,. I begged him to change this sensor as my warranty was up this November. Now I am stuck with this ongoing problem and no warranty left. This machine is such a problem for the ***** it costs. Please help me get resolution as I am completely frustrated with Miele and Total Appliance. Please help me!!!

      I purchased a Miele Dishwasher on 7/13/18 amongst several other appliances for my new construction home, however that was not that date I actually received the appliances. We didn't move into our house until the end of 2019 once construction was close to complete and inspections were passed. At that time is when I started using my dishwasher. 1 year ago I got an F78 code (circulator pump issue) and it stopped working but I somehow got it to work again after several tries and troubleshooting. Now, a few weeks ago the code came back and the machine will not work no matter what I do. I had a service tech come take a look and he said the circulator pump is shot and not working and that is not normal for a machine this new and it was probably defective and the pump finally gave out. Miele has been giving me the run around and I have had to chase them for any and all responses- all of whom are just following a script. The repair costs just about as much as the appliance itself. After going on BBB it looks like A LOT of other consumers are having the same exact issues I am. I feel paying a premium price for high end appliances means a company should have integrity and stand behind their expensive products for more than 1 year and provide adequate customer service. Really hoping someone can help me and all the others going through this with them. It's truly unfair to the consumers.

The message that was left advised that they would also follow up with an e-mail to which I could respond to- I never received any e-mail, I even checked my spam folder.

      Miele, has found a way to sell machines and if you have any problems with it, you will be unable to get it repaired. I have a Miele washer that began having a locked door problem. I called Miele customer service b/c it's the only way to find a service repair person. They sent over people who had never seen a miele machine. You will be hassled with a call center and no one to help. Your time and money will be wasted. I have been without a washer for over a month and Miele isn't doing anything about it.

      We called Miele customer service to figure out which parts we needed to order for our vacuum. The rep guided us through the parts catalog and told us which part numbers to purchase based on our vacuums serial number and our needs. The rep did not seem fully confident but said we could return the parts for free if anything was incorrect. We ordered via the phone and the parts arrived but 3 of the 3 parts ordered did not fit our model vacuum. I called Miele again to initiate the returns and they insisted that this was not their fault and refused to pay return shipping. I paid for the return shipping to get it done. Then, Miele claimed to only have received 2 of the 3 parts and they seem to have lost the 3rd part ( which was in the same box with a part they did receive). They refuse to refund us $70+ for the returned part they lost.
