This is for a Miele built-in Mastercool refrigerator, which we paid $8000+ for at Yale Appliance, in *************. Shortly after the warranty period ended, we heard a noise. We couldn't find a tech that would come for another six weeks. (Note that very few technicians service Miele in the ****** area, so **** was our only option.) It turns out, it needs $1500 to $2000 worth of repairs, and neither Miele nor **** won't give us a few weeks ***** on the warranty and cover the product defects. The product likely failed long before we heard the noise. It was probably a bad sensor that led to ice building built up where it wasn't visible, and when it finally got so extreme that the fan started bumping into it, making the noise that alerted us to the problem. The ice led to various components failing, and the parts required are up to $1500, though there was too much ice for the tech to get a complete diagnosis when he was here. The wait for the parts is about a month. So, not only did we waste time before the tech from **** could arrive, but now we have to wait for the parts. Total time without a working $8000+ refrigerator: about three months. Miele won't let me register a complaint in order to assess possible discounts on the replacement parts until the repair is complete, so I'm warning others off both Miele and Yale Appliance. Junk product, poor delivery system for replacement parts, and the dealer responds slowly and doesn't take responsibility for the expensive products they advocated for.

I purchased a Miele ************** in 2021. I had an issue with the pre-soak feature in the washing machine. When I used the pre soak the machine broke down and we could not use it. Because it was still within the warranty year, Miele sent a technician to take care of the problem. The technician informed me that he did assessed the machine and the problem was that it needed a firmware update for their software, so until the firmware was available, I could not use the pre-soak feature, but we could use the washing machine normally. I waited for the follow-up of the technician and Miele about the firmware but received no phone call or email. We also just had another issue with the dryer - the door - so I decided to follow-up on both. The sent a technician to the house to take care of the dryer door - it had some spots since we had the machine, but were minor, so we decided to leave with that, but about a month ago, I noticed more spots on the door and they can't be removed. I called and they sent a technician. Once the technician arrived he wanted to see my invoice. He said that the warranty had expired so they needed to charge me. I told them that I would not pay them, since when I made the call the customer service person didn't informed me of any costs associated with the service. I refused and the technician, who was not very friendly, left. I called Miele and they are refusing to repair the door. So I also informed them of the washing machine firmware, and they are also refusing to send someone at their cost because the warranty has expired but the repair was never done under the warranty, and no one else can do the firmware repair, but Miele. It is not an issue of wear and tear, it is an issue with bad software. It is ridiculous their stance. The reason we bought these expensive machines was because they said they had great customer service and the products last for 20+ years. They are no longer standing by their product. BUYER BEWARE!!

I purchased my Miele installed coffee maker in 2021, I have had nothing but problems with it from the beginning. My latest problem is that when the machine goes into the descale mode, it repeatedly says empty the drip tray even when it is completely empty. I have gone online and this seems to be an occurring problem that Miele is aware of. The solution online is to make sure all the contacts are completely dry and that the area under the drip tray is completely void of coffee grinds and completely clean and dry. It takes almost 1-2 hours to descale the machine as the in and out of the drip tray is completely frustrating. It has been fixed once, but the problem still exists.. This machine is such a problem for the how much it costs. we are going to call for a *********** again, but fear this is the way it will be forever. Caution to others before they buy this machine.

I would give Zero Star, if that was an option. Miele is a scam! cheap quality product and arrogant customer service! I purchased my full kitchen appliances from Miele and I had problem with ALL of them.My dishwasher baskets were cheeped in several spots, DAY ONE, they were replaced and just recently while Still under warranty I noticed the cutlery tray is cheeped too! the appliances (including dishwasher) were installed Oct 2020, and I barley even use my dishwasher, I had to loose so much income just to say home for all those service calls and now Miele is telling me the parts are not covered under warranty, this is while they know that ********** were cheeped to begin with! Their customer service is a Joke!! they tell you how to purchase the tray!!! and that's their way of helping. Miele is a scam!! Don't buy Miele, save yourself frustration and headaches and all the time that you ll be spending requesting service calls and all the days that you ll be staying home waiting for their technician.

Poor Quality Miele Dishwasher G4925 Warranty expires October 2020, Nov. 2020 after five years, water pump failed. Miele did not honor to replace to a least provide a pump at a reasonable price. Spent $850 to replace pump.Jan. 2021, water pump hose failed, another $150 parts and labour. July 2022 Heating Element has failed require replacement. I am wondering whether I should put more money in this Miele Dishwasher. I am thinking of buying a different made dishwasher. Poor quality service for parts and customer service. I am very unhappy with the dishwasher which according to manufacturer should last for 20 years Please be careful of buying a costly dishwasher, from my past experience, a much cheaper works better. Perhaps Miele products are better for Europe, where parts are much cheaper
