I purchased my daughter new sneakers, flip flops and a skirt on March 26, 2024. They were set to be delivered on March 31. It is now April 17 and I do not have the items. I have REPEATEDLY tried to contact customer service - my first phone call was met with being told to wait 8 business days. Ok, did that and then some. Emailed TWICE now and also contacted them through ********* ZERO RESPONSE. I used to purchase through them all the time but after this? Never again. A month later I do not have the products I purchased nor do I have a refund.Business Response

HI CCB; MY CHILDREN'S PLACE OR MY PLACES REWARDS CC; I was shocked when I reviewed my credit report and found late payment on the dates below: MARCH AND APRIL 2022; AND DECEMBER 2023 I am not sure how this happened, I believe that I had made my payments to you when I received my statements. My only thought is that my monthly statement did not get to me. I do ask in light of the good standing relationship we have that you remove this 30 day late from my credit report and refund any late fees assessed on my account.I do not believe it is accurate and would rather not have to spend more time than necessary for both of us to resolve this situation. I placed an order 3/08/24. When I checked the order status, it showed 2 items were shipped in one package and 5 items (2nd package) were awaiting pick up. Called customer service on 3/15/24, waited 1 hour, spoke to a representative, a supervisor and a manager who just gave the rhetoric that I must wait 7 - 10 business days. Not one of them would even try to help! Said its the **** problem. So I called the **** myself and they researched the tracking number and said they are still AWAITING package, that its never been received at the post office. I waited another day and when I received the first package on 3/17/24, I called Childrens Place again. Its now 8 business days and still awaiting pickup. I said, obviously the package is lost and asked them to resend the items - NOPE. I asked them to cancel the order and place a new order honoring the same prices - NOPE! They say they cant place orders for customers for MY security. Tried to call corporate in Secaucus and they didnt answer. Now I have to wait 2 more days and call again - another hour on the phone for them to maybe finally cancel the order (report it lost) and then they can place a new order for me. I guess my security wont matter then??!! They really DONT CARE!! Absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and they just follow their script and lie to the customers. DISGUSTING!!Business Response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is really not that satisfactory to me. The company did not address the poor quality of their customer service and their lack of concern for the customer. Although I finally did receive the product after almost 3 weeks of waiting, I doubt that they care or will try better next time. So I guess this compliant has gone as far as it will go or that the Children's Place would care about.

Did not have a fitting room, I went with my 7 yr old granddaughter and she needed to use the bathroom, no bathrooms available, I ask why they didnt have a fitting room available, manager just told me you have 35 or 45 days to return any merchandise, she didnt have any sympathy for the customers, this is a clothing business how can you not have a fitting room, you guys are loosing business, thank youBusiness Response

On 3/29/24 I placed an order for childrens clothes, the delivery date was given as 4/3/24. I was notified on 4/3/24 that delivery would now be 4/10/24. I checked the tracking data on 4/8 and saw that the package was in transit. The status has not changed in 9 days!! The **** site hasnt advanced at all. I called on 4/15 and requested a refund and was told they would not issue a refund. So I said you arent going to provide the merchandise but intend to keep my money and all he would say is they cant issue a refund. Well they did already issue a partial refund because one of the items I originally ordered wasnt available so they refunded that part before the package was shipped. 4/15/2024 Website is confusing, went to purchase two pants. Did not realize one was store pickup and other was shipping. When I finished the transaction, I noticed they charged me for shipping, when I thought it was all pickup. I went to there website area where is says do you want a cancel a order. Only 2 min after placing the order it wont let me cancel. I emailed them and they said there system does not allow you to cancel an order. It seems ridiculous this would be an option if not doable. There response was return at the store. So I guess I am out 6.99. There is a reason I stopped shopping with this company. They are outdated with systems. I would like my order canceled for the shipping of pants, or have it changed to ship too store so I dont have to pay the shipping.Business Response

Thank you for your comments. In reviewing this matter further, we have determined that **************** responded to your email and requested a call back on January 15th, 2024 to obtain more information and verify the shipping address with you. Because we did not receive a follow up call, this matter was considered resolved. At this time, since the carrier confirmed that the package was delivered on October 4th, 2023 to the shipping address provided, we are unable to process a refund. Additionally, the order is no longer available in our system because too much time has passed from the date it was placed. We apologize for the inconvenience; however, the only available option is to contact the card issuing bank or financial institution for further assistance. I placed an order on 2/29/2024 #********** for clothing for my child on my Childrens Place credit. The order was broken up into 2 shipments. The 1st shipment on 3/8 contained all incorrect items which were for a boy. The 2nd shipment was correct. I called and was given nothing but a hard time by the representative who could barely speak or understand English. As a customer it was their mistake so why should I jump thru hoops for their error. No apologies, nothing. I was told they would send a label to mail the stuff back (which was never received) and they would ship the correct clothes but would not expedite the shipping even though its their error. As of today, we have not received the clothes yet the charge remains on my credit card. I am not calling again due to the language barrier, and the uncompassionate customer service representatives , it will only frustrate me more. I spend a lot of money with this company and felt disrespected, not valued as a customer and felt like I inconvenienced them. I would like this situation rectified immediately and the BBB is my best option.Business Response

I placed on online order with The Children's Place on March 24, 2024. I received notification from them on March 26, 2024, and showed "Awaiting Carrier PickUp." I know it takes a day or two for the shipping information to update but it is still showing that message today, April 5, 2024. I was charged immediately for the purchase. I called customer service and after waiting for 20 minutes on my 3rd attempt at calling. I was told there was nothing they could do and I needed to wait for my package to arrive. I said it's not arriving and I know there is something you can do (I had this with another online retailer and they issued a refund and cancelled the order immediately, issued a refund and actually reordering for me honoring same price and have my items and happy, so I know it can be done). I asked to speak to the representative's supervisor becuase I figured I needed to inquire further up the chain, the representative didn't want to connect me and I said please connect me. He said ok, put me on hold and hung up on me. I went through FB and Instagram pages and those are flooded with others having problems just like mine...no order shipped/arrived, charged and no refund. And no response from customer service. I sent messages and got the standard response "We'll be in touch in 48 hours" or something like that. Finally, one message responded, let us know if you don't receive it by Friday. Well, today is Friday, I have let them know and no response (well, actually I got the same canned response.). I just want my refund and my order cancelled. There are numerous issues online with same thing, so I can't believe they are being allowed to continue to operate.Business Response
